Chapter 10

Iris asked for bram to call a meeting with the clan. She needed to explain what was going on with her brother. Standing on the dais looking out at the dragon shifters and my pack. "Thank you for taking time out of your day to come here. I know we don't know each other very well but I must warn you. The black wolf is my brother Arrow and he is angry at dragon shifters for what happened at sky hunter. I understand you can defend yourselves against them. I mean a wolf against a dragon. The dragon is going to win that fight."

I said making some of them snort and chuckle. "Arrow is dangerous and my pack will take him and his band of rogues out. It is something that should be done by us. That is why my pack and myself will work in shifts scouting the land of stone fire. "  some of the dragons murmured and whispered. "You just got out of hospital. Do you really think its a good idea?" Sid asked and I nod. "Since Arrow and his rogues broke themselves off from the pack. We won't feel any pain physically if something happened to them. It's emotional pain that we will be dealing with. If it will make the protectors comfortable they may join in scouting. I feel we can learn from eachother in various ways. " I waited for what seemed like eternity. "Maybe we can combine patrols they cover ground we the air." A young protector male said. "Its not up to me fully thats why I am asking all of you. I want this to be a collective decision, because you all are a part of my pack you don't have to call me alpha like the wolves here. I want you to feel comfortable with me as I do with you."

I said when a dragon child spoke up. "Are you Bram's mate is that why you want us to be members of your pack?" I smiled at the child. "No young one thats not the reason. When my pack passed out twice on your land, you had the opportunity to take us out. You didn't and that is why I trust all of you the other wolves feel the same. " I said when I got a mind link from Susan. 'Alpha you need to come quickly.' The mind link was cut before I could say anything. Bram's phone rung. Turns out he was alerted to an intruder. I used Eolas to find Susan who has pinned a human. Shifting I rush out to Susan who is facing down a gun. I was running fast as I could but when I got to her a gun shot rang out. I leap at the human throwing him around growling.

He cried out in pain as I drag him threw the dirt ripping his flesh. Bram gets to me telling me to stop so he can get information out of him. I growl my jaws locked around the humans sholder. The human pissed himself making me let go. "The fuck is she man! You got fucking wolves now?!" The human screams as he his taken to a holding cell. I walked ovet to Susan who was still breathing. Shifting into human form I see where the bullet hit her. "Danny Sophie come to your mother." I said standing as her children came to her side. A needles death.
