The next morning, Poppy came outside confused. Branch wasn't in the house. He wasn't in their bed when she woke up and his side wasn't even warm. So he must have gotten up early. Poppy then decided to go around and search for her husband. She went all around the kingdom and even asked a few bergens if they had seen Branch. She finally found him at the top of the troll tree, watching of their kingdom.

"Hey, Branch." She said quietly. But she didn't get a response. "I've been searching everywhere for you. Are you okay?" Branch sighed and stood up and turned around to his wife.

"Yes, what are you talking about? I'm fine." He said with a forced smile. Poppy immediately knew something was wrong.

"Okay, what is it?" She asked.

"Nothing."

"You're lying."

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are Branch. You have been acting weird ever since Stream and his family arrived." Branch knew he couldn't keep lying to Poppy. She already knew the truth and lying would only make it worse.

"Fine. It's Stream." He admitted.

"What about him?"

"I don't trust him. He had a... talk... with me yesterday. He threatened me, Poppy." Poppy was shocked. But at the same time, she didn't believe him. Maybe Branch was just jealous. Maybe he just didn't like her hanging out with another guy. But he's never acted like this.

"Branch? Don't you think that you're over reacting a little bit?" She said slowly while approaching him.

"What?" He asked confused that she didn't believe him.

"I mean, maybe you didn't get enough sleep or maybe it was just a bad dream." Poppy tried to convince Branch that what Stream did wasn't real. But Branch wouldn't give up.

"Poppy! I know what I saw! He threatened me. He told me if I didn't stay away form you, he would..." Branch couldn't finish his sentence. He just looked down and tried to keep the tears from becoming waterfalls. "Please, Poppy. You have to believe me." He said with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry Branch, but... I need proof." She said while slowly turning around and with a slightly heartbroken expression on her face. Branch just stood there shocked that his own wife wouldn't believe him. He turned back around to his kingdom. He looked down once more to make sure nothing suspicious was going on. And just before he decided to go down, he saw Stream.

Stream looked back to make sure nobody followed him before walking into the forest. "I knew it." Branch said to himself.

Yea, I know, I took me a long time and I'm not even going to say 'I'll try and upload ASAP!' because, well, we all know that won't happen lol
