(Y/N) POV

"Almost done?" I ask as she shakes her head

"I musta forgot a power wire or something," she says as she continues

Finally, I heard her drop it as she sighs in frustration

"I need a break," she demands as she sits beside me and we stare into the darkness together.

"You think everyone is fine?" She asks as I shrug

"I doubt it," I say as she nods slowly

"I thought so," she says

"At least the ship isn't an ice block," I say as she giggles

"Yea, at least the reactor is doing something...even if it isn't powering the lights," she adds

I close my eyes as I feel tired

"Stay awake," Petra says as I open them again

"We don't know what might happen, we should be on guard the whole time," she says as I nod

"Agreed," I mutter

"Hey....do you trust me?" She asks as I look at her confused

"Trust you? I mean, I guess. You did let me out of the ceil, you needed to trust that I wasn't one of them...so yeah, I'd say I trust you, after all, trust is a two-way street," I say as she nods

"Then, trust me...I know what I'm doing," she says as she makes a sudden jerk to me. I could feel something pierce my suit.

I look down to see a knife inside my suit

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry! He promised that he would spare me and I would see my little sister after all this," Petra says as she cries.

"Whaaa?" I ask confused as my vision goes black.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry," she repeats as her voice fades to the background.

Newton POV

I hid in the reactor room

"Damn thing, who woulda thought Jayden was a parasite," I mutter quietly to myself

I could hear him walk around the reactor room.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are," he says in a devilish voice.

Like hell I well.

I searched for anything that could be used as a weapon. It was hard looking for anything when the room was so dark.

"I'll make a deal, you come out, and you'll get to go home and see your wife and child," the voice says as I smirk

That might work on other people...but not me.

Finally, my hand found a loose pipe.

Quietly I moved into an open space where I could faintly make out a red suit.

I tried sneaking up to it. But as I took the last step, the floor made a sound

the red figure turned around quickly as I went to strike with the pipe. The figure caught the pipe, but it slipped and smashed the visor that conceals our faces.

I almost threw up when I saw Jayden's face, it was all decomposed and rotting away. Tentacle like things slithered around his face as I force myself to keep my lunch inside

"Unlike Tia, this one is too far gone," the voice says moving Jayden's fleshless mouth.

"Your a pretty one aren't ya," I say with a grin as the face makes an evil smile.

"I reckon it should be done by now," he says as he forces me into a wall. I get stunned by the impact, and it grabs on to me and forces me down the hallway

"Why not just kill me?" I ask as he laughs

"We need to return to your homeland somehow...the man in charge of this ship is you correct?" They ask as I scowl

Thinking about it, (Y/N) and Dawson are the only two who can probably take on this guy and come out on top....but (Y/N) is locked up and Dawson is busy working on the reactor and power grid in secret.

That leaves Petra and Nate. Petra might be able to make something..as for Nate...he's about as useless as a bag of nuts.

"You might be thinking, (Y/N) and Dawson can take this guy down!" The parasite says smiling

"But little do you know," he says evilly laughing

"It's done," I hear a voice behind me. I look to see Petra standing there nervously fidgeting with her hands

"That's good, show him," the parasite says to her as he throws me to her. She barely manages to catch me as I struggle to stand

"I'd like to see too," he says as I look confused

"You are working together!" I ask furiously

"No...I'm simply blackmailing her. I'm giving her life and in return, she's giving one to me...one, in particular, that is," he says as I start to worry

Petra leads us to a narrow gap in the ship's panels. I remember this as the place we found Olivia in.

"So he showed it to you?" I ask angrily

"Yes...," she hesitates as I frown

"He trusted you then...he would only show this place to someone he trusts....clearly a bad call," I say with darkness in my voice

"Yea...I know," she says sadly.

We got into a small opening and I saw it.

I limp white suit, simply sitting there lifeless.

No....not (Y/N)

I felt tears come to my eyes...why him!

Since that first trip that went wrong, me and (Y/N) became really good friends. It seemed impossible for him to die like this

"You did this?" I ask Petra as she starts crying silently.

I was left speechless

"Good, good! Wonderful! Now....die!" The parasite screams as he picks up Petra with a huge slimy hand that came from nowhere

"No!! You said! You promised!" She protests as he laughs

"You think I care now! You're so easy to control! I had you wrapped around my finger since the start!" He yells laughing. Petra was now crying

"I'm scared! I'm scared!" She screams as the parasite laughs as she struggles

I watched...unable to move my body. If I helped her...what would happen to me.

A picture of my wife and child flashed in my mind as I think of all the things I can lose.

No...my wife would want me to do this...Petra is not much older than a kid for Pete's sake...

I must do the right thing.

"Oy!" I yell at the parasite. He stops laughing at looks at me

"Eat dirt!" I yell as I force his head down and I smash it off the ground. Petra was released as I took her hand and started running.

I took one last glance at the motionless white suit before leaving for good
