(Y/N) POV

With all the things about parasites going on, I forgot we are still fixing the reactor.

Newt said that backup power would go out sometime today or tomorrow,

Let's hope he and Dawson got it working.

There was nothing inside the room I was held captive in.

"God, so boring," I mutter as the lights flicker. My heart drops a little as I realize what's happening

"We were too late," I say as I look at the door. Finally, the lights went out...and I was engulfed in darkness

Unlike my first trip, the power won't be going on as simply as it did last time. This time we have no power....period.

The only way to return power is to finish fixing the reactor.

I already felt the ships heat moving into space, it started to get cold

So this is where we die, in space because our ship lost power....wonderful

The lights started flickering on again.

I smile a bit as Newt and Dawson did what they have been stressing to do for ages, they fixed the reactor.

I felt the heat return as the lights once again shut off.

They must be making sure the ship's main functions start working before lights turn on.

A few minutes past and the lights still haven't turned on.

I'd think the battery would be charged enough to turn the lights on.

I suddenly hear the door open and I faintly see the outline of a suit.

"Are you here to kill me?" I asked jokingly as I laugh nervously

"(Y/N)!" I hear Petra say as the suit moves toward me and hugs me.

"What's this for Petra?" I ask as suddenly she jerks me to against the wall connected to the door. This way nothing outside the door could see us

"What's up?" I ask as she looks at me

"Jayden...he's a parasite," she says as I nod

"Is he looking for you?" I ask as she nods

"I've discovered a breakthrough to kill parasites without killing the host. We can save thousands of people with this," she says as I nod

"Can you make it here?" I ask as she nods

"I should be able to scrap something up," she says I look at her unsure

"You sure it'll work? I mean, your last device said that I was one of them," I ask as she nods

"Yes, I found a fault in the programming, plus, I trust you," she mutters as I hear footsteps outside.

We go dead silent as their footsteps come quietly and then go quietly...we wait another 10 min before we start talking again

"Nowhere on the ship is safe enough for me to build it though," she says as I nod as I think

"I know a place," I say as she nods. I start leading us to a hidden place.

It's the same place Olivia showed me. And the same place she died.

I haven't even looked in this hole this trip. Every time I walk by it, I feel the need to puke.

"It's cramped," Petra says behind me as we crawl into it

"Yea," I mutter as we get into a very small opening that gives you a stunning view of the stars.

"Wow," she says

"How do you know about this place?" She asks

"What do you need for your stuff?" I ask not answering her question. She lists a bunch of things and I then go to grab them.

I snuck around out of fear of being caught. These parasites have super strength, if one spots me down I'm a goner.

I grab as many parts as I could before returning to Petra.

"You back," she whispers as I nod

"Here," I mutter as I hand her all the parts

"Thanks," she mutters

"Come on, we don't have much time," I say as I find a spot to rest.

"It's hard without a light," she mutters

"Let your eyes adjust, you'll be fine," I tell her

"Wow, your pretty calm," she says chuckling a bit

"I've been through this before....but it was worse the first time," I say as she nods

"Give me some time ok, I'll get this working in no time," she says as I nod
