"I trusted you I really did." I say after Maya stole a bite of my ice cream.

The daughter of Hades let's out a laugh.

"Via, it's just ice cream."

I punch her arm in a playful way. 

"No it's not it was raspberry ice cream, and the last bite." I reply 

"I'll get you another later ok?" She asks

"YES!" I say, as she gives me a peck on the cheek. "See you later, got archery." I say, as I walk off to the archery arena. 

The archery lesson starts with the Apollo cabin leading. I'm in the Athena cabin. 

Both cabins take turns shooting at targets, and at the end we have a competition.

I'm against Kayla Knowles but I got this right? 

We take turns each hitting bulls eye, after bulls eye. Eventually we run out of arrows, and call it a draw.

I head to the Hades cabin to see Maya. I knock three times before the door opens. 

"What's up?" I ask

"Nothing much but got you money for ice cream." She replies, as she hands me the money for ice cream.

"Thanks!" I say, as I sit beside her on her bed. We sit there in comfortable silence before I got to go back to my cabin. 

"Sneaking off to see your girlfriend?" Annabeth asks

"Yeah, but can you blame me? You go see Percy all the time." I reply, as I lay down on my bed.

"Not trying to. I just ship it ok?" 

"What's a ship?" I ask

She almost laughs 

"I'm serious." I say

"Oh, Via you'll see." She says as she climbs the ladder to get to the top bunk. 

"Night." I say, as I go to bed.

A nightmare I should've guessed.

I was running, running through the mansion of Night with Maya, at my side trying to find Hemera to restore day. 

I see the aria once again. Them cursing Maya to think I abandoned her, like what Claypso thought. Me getting cursed with I don't even know what it's called but my soul getting slowly ripped apart, like what Maya did to some monsters. 

As Nyx is about to slash my head off which did not happen. I jolt awake.

Nightmares, Tartarus the thoughts slish swash in my head. I creep out of the cabin, and walk along the back of the cabins, until I reach the Hades one.

I knock on the door Nico answers.

"Nico, I need Maya." I say

He lets me in, as I make a beeline to where Maya is. 

"Wake up please." I say as I subtly shake her.

"Huh what?" She asks as she sits up.

I tackle her in a hug

"Aria pit nightmares." I say

"It's ok don't worry about it." She kisses my forehead. 

"Maya I'm scared though. The nightmares come back every night." 

"Wanna talk about it?" She asks

I shake my head no

She lays back down I lay my head on her chest listening to her heartbeat. I close my eyes, and try to fall asleep without a dream nor nightmare.

in the morning I wake up a bit earlier to sneak back to my cabin. 

"Bye Maya." I say as I kiss her forehead. I walk out of the cabin, and run straight to the Athena cabin. 

I slowly creep in, and close the door behind me. Only to be met with a angry Annabeth.

"Via where were you? I woke up in the middle of the night, and you were gone." She says

"Oops? I had a nightmare, and went to the Hades cabin, to see Maya." I respond

She walks to the bathroom squealing the word "ship." under her breath.

I read a book as I wait for her to finish.

I get inpatient, and I go into the other one. 

I get in change from my pajamas to my camp half blood atire, brush my teeth brush my straight blonde hair, and wash my face.

By the time I'm done everyone is up, and ready. I go to the back, as Annabeth walks to the front. 

"Via, Via!" My 5 year old half brother Danny shouts.

"Yes?" I ask

"Can I go on your shoulders?" He asks

"I don't see why not?" I say as I crouch down for him to climb onto me. He gets on my shoulders. "Hold on to my hair ok?" I ask

"Yep!" He says as I start to stand up. 

I look ahead to see our cabin left us.

"Danny hold on really tight we gotta run ok?" 

"Yep!" He says, as I take off. We catch up in like 12 seconds-ish not to bad for a half-blood tho impossible for a mortal.

"Dan you gotta get off we're here. I gotta sit with Mr. Poop" I say as I crouch done to the floor. 

"I don't wanna sit with Mr. D bye." He gets up, and runs to the Athena table.

"Ugh." I groan as I walk to where Mr. D is. I sit beside Maya, and grab some waffles while Mr. D stares at me as if I'm a maniac.

"Y'know Vine pancakes are better then waffles right Monica?" He asks

"Shut up, and stop hogging the syrup." I say as I grab the bottle from his hand. I pour some syrup on my waffles, then pass the bottle to Maya. 

"So, nightmares." I physically shudder at the words.

"Yes sir." Maya says, also grabbing my knee as if to say I'm here. 

"How are the nightmares?" He asks "Are they about Tartarus?" He asks his eyes dancing with amusement. 

And that's how the conversation goes a lot of back, and fourth, and such. Eventually we say our goodbyes.

"Wanna sneak out, and get ice cream?" I ask

"You know I do." She says

"Yes!" I say "Let me get the money, meet at your cabin in like 5 minutes." I run off.

I open the door to the Athena cabin, and grab my mortal money from Maya. I run off to the Hades cabin to see, Nico, and Will also there.

"Is this like a double date?" I ask

"Yes it is!" Will says

I grab onto Maya's hand as we shadow travel away.

We arrive at a Marble Slab in Ontario, Canada!

We walk in, and say our orders. I get a scoop of raspberry ice cream with pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, and marshmallow for toppings.   

We go to sit at one of the outside tables. 

Me, and Maya on one side. Nico, and Will on the other. We all finish then go back to camp.

By the time we get back it's lunch. I sit with my cabin this time though.

Danny asks me "Where did you go?" 

"Oh me, Maya, Nico, and Will went to go get ice cream." 

"WHAT?!" He asks outraged "But I wanted ice cream too please? I promise I'll be really good." He says

As Annabeth is saying something about sugar I whisper in his ear

"Next time ok? Next time you can come with us. Just don't tell Annabeth." 

"Ok!!!!" He yells straight in my ear

"Via what did you tell him?" Annabeth asks

"Nothing." I say I do NOT snitch.

Maya walks in "That she'll buy Danny ice cream."

"Maya the betrayal." 

"Look this is just getting you back for the time you, poured a bucket of ice water on my head at 6, in the morning."

"Fine." I grumble "But we're even now, and Danny we're still going don't worry." 

And that argument is over.

The last class of the day. Greek Myths 101, with Drew Tanaka leading ugh hate her.

She starts by saying some stuff I'm not really paying attention then she says my name, and I gotta listen.

"Via, Maya! Would you two mind telling the class about Tartarus?" She asks.

"Sorry, but we would not." I say, and go back to dozing off.

The class ends, and we all go to eat. 

I grab some pineapple pizza, sacrifice some to Athena, then sit back down.

I eat two slices then go to the campfire. 

We listen to a song of how the grandma put's on armour, then Percy, and Annabeth sing an original song, on how to slay the Chimera, and then we all head back to our cabins.

I go to bed my dream starts off nice, with flashbacks of ice cream, and yelling out David Kushner lyrics, before it quickly takes a shift.

It starts off with me, and Maya at the door of Orpheus horrible name by the way.

But we go down, and down several steps, before the old steps crumble right under our feet just like what happend six months ago.

We drop down, and down until we can see the ground. Maya summons some skeletons that catch us, as we walk to go find Hemera.

Yet this time there are no aria instead something much worse.

Nyx looming over us. I can sense a wave of darkness even if it's only a dream. I'm stuck there I will my feet to move but I'm frozen in there.

"Half bloods." She snarls as if it's the worst insult in the universe.

"That's what we are." I shout.

"Well yes." She replies "Oh will you stop ruining my villain speech?"

"Sorry, restart?" I ask hey I respect the art of theatre, and perfection. 

"Yes, yes I will now shush." She takes a deep breath then "Half bloods." She says I wait for more. And get nothing.

She pulls out a small vile of something.

"This may be a dream but I can still poison you with the poison of night." She says

"Oh so scary." I reply, as I open my mouth to say more she lunges, and shoves the liqued in my mouth. 

Then the world or dream turns black. 

Maya PoV

The dream continues I scream at Nyx

"MASTER! You weren't supposed to poison her I already put some in her ice cream as planned." I state.

"Yes, yes I guess you did. BUT you puny half mortal if you did your job right she would be dead. She should've died tonight did you reduce the dose?" 

"Yes, master I am sorry." I say while going down to kneel "Please forgive me."

"Ok." She says "But once we rule the world I will get rid of your mortal side. Then you can go break up with her." She says pointing at Via. "Honestly don't you have a crush on Jackson?"

"Yes, master." I say

"Well then I shall spare him, and he may become immortal, and you to could get married I ship it already." She says

"Thank you." I say "Let her survive though I have an idea." I say

You really think I'm leaving you with that cliffhanger nope! I'm not that cruel.

Still Maya PoV btw

"Once she becomes deadly ill she will rely on me. Me being her girlfriend." I gag at the word. "Or whatever she trusts me. I'll increase the does of poison, in her foods, and hope she dies quickly she is there only hope. Correct?"

Nyx starts talking "Lovely idea! You may start she'll wake up soon. And yes she is there only hope my grand daughter a daughter of Hemera." 

"WAIT WHAT?!?" I scream "You never said that."

"Oh she is. Athena just happend to owe my daughter a favour, and she didn't want anyone to know. So she asked Athena to act like, a mother, and claim her daughter. But she still is her daughter." And just like that I woke up.

I laid back down fake sleeping waiting for Via to arrive.

She shakes my head, and I open my eyes.  As I take in her appearance. 

Her blonde hair a mess, her stormy grey eyes usually calculating extremely vulnerable, and bloodshot.  

"Are you ok?" I ask

She shakes her head no "I had a nightmare but it was worse." She explains her nightmare which I already knew so it's annoying. 

"Are you ok?" I ask playing into the concerned girlfriend tone.

"No." She says as she snuggles into me. "I'm scared Maya I'm really scared." 

"It's ok I'm here, I'm here for you." Which is a lie but who cares? "Wanna go to sleep?" I ask

She nods in response, and I lay down

She lays down beside me, and goes to sleep. Once I'm sure she's asleep I reach under my pillow, grab the box open it, and pour some of the poison in her mouth.

"You won't be scared for much longer child." I say because she'll be dead. And this time I don't control her dreams. I don't send her any more nightmares for the night.

summary bc this was confusing

Via is dating Maya

Via is a daughter of Hemera but Hemera didn't want Nyx finding out she had a child because she didn't want Nyx to capture them. Which is how Nyx baited Hemera to the mansion of night in the first place, lying, and saying she had Via. Nyx found out anyways, but before Hemera asked Athena to claim her child. 

Maya a daughter of Hades dating Via but not really she's using her. She's dating her to poison her foods, and despise her, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Maya works for Nyx, and puts poison in like all of Via's food hoping to kill her. The poison doesn't affect Maya bc Nyx gave her, her blessing. Maya also controls Via's nightmares

Ummm Via, Danny, and Annabeth are not actually half siblings Via being a child of Hemera
