Mark is annoyed, in past weeks both Eve and William try to set him up with Amber. The only problem is he wants nothing to do with her. Last time they dated in his old life. He tried his hardest to be a good boyfriend and hero. Half of the time when they argue both Will and Eve always take her side then say he is a bad boyfriend. Wills he understand but Eve he couldn't help but what the fuck. She could at least understand the stress of trying to date and be a hero. But no she also said he was being a bad boyfriend. But it really pissed him off. She knew the whole time about secret identity but she was pissed that he never told her.

"Never again." Mark said, sitting on top of a building.

Never again what son?" Nolan said, sitting next to him.

"Two of my friends are trying to hook me up with someone I want nothing to do." Mark said.

"How come?" Nolan asked. Then Mark explained. How he was dating this girl named amber.

"First I thought she was the one then the whole superhero thing happened. She started to get annoyed then mad. It didn't help that two of my friends were mostly on her side when one of them is a hero herself. But it wasn't the only thing that pissed me off."

"What?"

"She knew, Dad."

"Knew what?" Nolan asked confused, Mark gave him a look then gestured to his costume. "Mark you didn't."

"I didn't...I mean I did but Dad she alway knew I was invincible. She made me feel guilty, feel insecure, like I was being a bad boyfriend for not being honest. Dad when I saved her and Williams she called me a coward and other hurtful things but she knew I was then broke up with me. No, what I say is not enough for her. I'm still the bad guy, the asshole, the unfaithful jackass in the relationship and two of my friends almost took her side saying I'm the problem." Mark is crying. "Dad, what did I do to deserve that?"

"Nothing mark, it seems to me that she wasn't the one. And you should at least give some comfort. You are never a bad boyfriend. You are trying to be a hero, trust me son it is never easy to maintain a relationship ask your mother unlike amber when your mother found out who I was she understood and stood by me. If Amber truly loves you she understands the danger you are facing. If she really she would understood that but instead she made it about her which sickened me. Your friends should pressure you into dating her and for damn sure never been taking her damm side but Mark you have a new life now and who knows maybe you can find new love. Just need to keep looking son." Nolan said, hugging Mark.

"Thanks Dad."
