44 Evil Plan

Part 44 Evil Plan

Khushi stared at Arvind, who walked casually, seemingly oblivious to the wound.

"Why are you looking at me like this, Khushi?" Arvind asked.

"When I saw you bleeding, I thought the wound was deep, but as you walk freely, I think it's not a severe wound, " she said, glancing at Arnav.

"Yeah, at first I too thought it was deep, but it didn't seem so."

"But the nail is broken", Arnav said.

"That's what I, too, wonder." Arvind smiled.

Arnav and Khushi exchanged a meaningful glance. Arvind left the place.

"Arnav sir, I'm sure this Shivlinga is made up of Navapashanam"

Arnav could not deny it as he witnessed its miracle right in front of his eyes.

"Didn't you see how Uncle Arvind walked as if he didn't get hurt?"

Arnav nodded yes.

"But why did Gorakar give it to me?"

"He said that while giving this, you would come to understand the purpose at the right time, right?"

Arnav nodded yes.

"Then, don't think much. You will get to know the purpose when the right time comes"

"Can't we help those who are suffering from untreatable diseases?"

"Arnav, sir, what do you think about people? They will kill you for this Shivlinga if they get to know about its miracle because the disease rate is increasing day by day in the world. This Shivlinga is a remarkable artefact that is extremely rare and difficult to obtain. Gorakar gave it to you. That means he trusts you will follow his instructions"

Arnav became thoughtful.

"He gave it to you. That means you will need this and you will understand when to use it when the right time comes. So, please wait. Don't hurry. Don't think about it, please"

"Ok, but why are you worrying about it?"

"It may be a test to test you, Arnav, sir"

"Test?"

"Yes, to see what you will do if you get such a powerful thing. People are born according to their KARMA. Suffering from disease is also destined. You should not try to change it..."

"If that's the case, why did he give it to me? As I get to know the power of this Shivlinga, I will definitely think of curing a person who is dying in a disease"

"But..."

"What if it's a test to test my generosity? What if he wants to check me if I'm helping people or using the power only for myself selfishly?"

Khushi was stuck.

"I agree that the disease is destined. Likewise, learning about someone's disease and meeting the patient will also be destined, right?"

"Ok, let it be, but he said you will get to know the purpose. So, it has a purpose. First, we have to find it out."

Arnav nodded. That was when Arnav looked out through the window and found a clear view of the cemetery from his room. He saw Kasi cleaning the burial stage. Khushi came and stood next to Arnav.

"What do you think about him?" Arnav asked.

"I really don't know what to say... because I'm not sure if he is Kasi or someone in his form" Khushi smiled.

Arnav looked at him smilingly.

"Are you going to meet Sathya Narayana?" Khushi asked.

"Yes, until he steps into this Palace, we can't find out who sent the message in my father's name"

"What do you think?"

"Murthy Brothers..."

"They are capable of doing that", Khushi said.

"Mmm"

"When are you going?"

"Anytime... will you come with me?"

"Me? But why?"

"Do you want a reason to accompany me? You are my going-to-be wife. Remember?"

"I have no problem accompanying you. I, too, don't want to send you to their village ALONE"

"Alone?"

"We don't know what his mood will be. If I'm with you, I will save you if he tries to harm you"

"What will you do? Do you know Karate?" he asked teasingly.

Khushi nodded no.

"Then? How will you save me?"

"I will sacrifice my life to save you, " she said thoughtfully.

Arnav was stuck. He held her upper hands and pulled her towards him.

"Stop talking about sacrificing your life, Khushi. Enough of sacrifices... You already gave your life. Don't do it again"

Khushi looked at him, perplexed.

"When did I sacrifice my life?"

Arnav left her hands and said,

"In the previous birth"

"Are you serious?"

"Don't you trust me?"

"No... I mean, I didn't mean it..."

"No problem if you don't trust my words. Won't you trust Gorakar too?"

"Did he say so?"

"Then, how do I know if he hadn't told me?"

"Did I really kill myself for you?"

Arnav looked at her, suppressing his smile.

"Actually, it's worth doing..." she smiled.

"No... leaving life can never be worth doing. Living is worth doing. To live with our loved one, we can go to any extent"

Khushi smiled. She liked what he said.

"But we should appreciate one thing..." Arnav said.

"What?"

"I can understand how deep your love for me would have been if you were even ready to sacrifice your life."

Khushi bit her lip.

"But you are not even showing half the love in this birth," Arnav sighed.

"It doesn't mean I don't love you"

"Love can be understood only if it is shown to the one who owned it"

"Touch your heart and say, don't I show my love?"

Arnav folded his hands and asked,

"When did it happen?"

Khushi pouted. Arnav lifted her chin, making her look at him. Arnav raised his brows.

"When did you tell me that you love me?"

"I did, but you forgot it"

"When?"

"In our previous life," she said, trying to control her smile.

"Oh... are you playing with MY cards?"

Khushi smiled.

"Let's go; we will meet Satya Narayana"

"Ok, but wait for a few minutes. I will meet Aunty Ratna and come"

"Ok, make it fast..."

Khushi headed to Ratna's room. She saw her room being clocked from inside. She frowned in confusion. Usually, Ratna's room never had been closed because she would feel scared to be alone. She knocked on the door.

"Who is that?" Came Madhavi's voice from inside.

Khushi was stuck. Was Madhavi inside? What was she doing, closing the door?

"It's Khushi..."

There was silence inside. After a few minutes, Madhavi opened the door and grinned at Khushi. Khushi was dumbfounded because she sensed a fish fry smell in the room. Madhavi had a rice bowl in her hand, which she was feeding to Ratna.

"What happened, Khushi? I saw you helping Arnav in shifting..." Madhavi asked.

That increased Khushi's doubt. Did she check what was she doing? Did she do that to confirm if she would come to Ratna's room shortly?

"Arnav sir wants me to check Aunty Ratna. That's why I came"

"But why are you guys bothering when I'm here to take care of her?" Madhavi tried to feed dall rice to Ratna, but she refused to have it.

Khushi saw Ratna looking around in a searching manner.

"What are you searching, aunty?" Khushi asked.

"Fish fry..." She said, continuing her search.

"Fish fry? Did you give her a fish fry? Didn't the doctor say she should avoid non-vegetarian food while taking medicine? Khushi looked at Madhavi in shock.

"Of course, I know that, Khushi. How could I forget such an important matter? She is asking me for fish fry as we are giving her only vegetarian food" Madhavi grinned again.

Ratna scratched Madhavi's shoulder and asked,

"Where did you hide the fish fry plate? Give me. It's tasty"

Khushi shrank her eyes.

"Aunty, I said I would give it to you after you get your senses back. You should not have that now because you are taking medicines. Didn't I say?"

Madhavi looked at Khushi and said,

"Yesterday also she asked eggs. Poor her, she wants to eat non-vegetarian food. How will I explain to her that she should not have them? I don't know why God examines her to this extent! She said sadly.

"Why did you close the door?"

"She's giving me a tough time, Khushi. it's tough to feed her food"

"If you face a tough time, I will do it"

"No, no... I will do it. After all, she is my aunty"

"Khushi, ask her to give me fish fry. I want it," Ratna asked again.

"Aunty, come..." Khushi moved towards Ratna and took her to the bed. She made her sit, intentionally bending down. She was shocked as she sensed a fish fry smell on Ratna. She confirmed that Madhavi fed fish fry to Ratna.

Why the hell were they doing this? Didn't they want Ratna to be cured? Didn't they ask Arvind to fix the wedding after Ratna was cured? To stop their wedding, were they doing this? Was this why they had taken on the responsibility of feeding Ratna? How evil they were! Khushi was furious. She wanted to teach them a lesson, but not openly, because they would break it just like they did in the necklace issue. She wanted to discuss it with Arnav.

To be continued...
