Soul's POV:

I could tell that it was a long time since she wanted to tell me whatever it was. She was crying, I couldn't do nothing about it when she's my partner. So I helped her.

"Yeah. So what is it?" She paused for a second, I could tell she was nervous. But then she...blushed and looked away.

"I-uh, I.......l-love.......you."

She loves me? Well, I guess we could be good for each other. She IS cute. I'll give it a try with her.

"I would have said yes, anytime. If you asked me out on a date. So?"

"Y-you want me to ask you?"

"Yeah, got for it."

"O-ok. Soul, W-will you go out with me?"

"Yes, I would love to go out with you, Maka. So, how about at the Death Bucks Cafe at seven?"

"Sounds great."

Maka's POV:

He leaned in and kissed me. I was surprised and my eyes widened at first, but then I went along with it. Tsubaki then walked in and saw us kissing.

"Uh, you guys know that you are in the bathroom, right? You can go home to do that, love birds. And Soul this room is for girls only...." She said as she pushed him out and she stood there in the doorway.

I blushed and said "Yeah, but Soul kissed me......." Before I could say anything else Black Star had gone and dragged her away.

It felt so wierd at lunch, cause all I wanted to do was lay against Soul, but that would look wierd for everyone else. After lunch, during class, professor Stein assigned us homework, to practice soul resinence. I figured that before the date we can hang out and practice for a while, because it was only three right now, so I invited Soul here at school before I left. 

*Time skip - an hour later*

During the time that I waited for Soul to come over, I picked out a dress. It was a little lighter than a emerald color. I thought it was pretty, but would Soul think so? That's the big question. While looking for more, I heard a knock at the door downstairs.

"I'll be down in a minute!" I yelled from my room. I looked out the window to see Soul.

I ran downstairs, opened the door and saw his handsome face. "Come on in and make yourself at home. Would you like anything to drink?"

"Uh, sure. How about some punch?"

"Sure, I'll be in the kitchen." I walked into the kitchen to make some punch when I heard Soul right behind me, hugging me. I flinched and continued to get it.

"I don't want you to go by yourself, you'd be lonely. Besides, I'm lonely without you. We can make it together." He leaned in again and pressed his gentle lips against mine. He then pushed away and said....

"You know how you said you loved me yesterday?"

"Uh, yeah."

"Well, I love you too." I blushed.

Soul's POV:

I saw a light blush on her face when I said that. She looked cute though. I figured that I could break her blush with another kiss, so I did. Her lips are so smooth, almost as if they are fragile. It's like if I pressed any harder they would break, that's how perfect they are. 

"Oh, I forgot about the punch, it is in the fridge."

"We can bring it outside, where we can practice."

"Okay." She walked over and got the punch out of the fridge and then walked over back to me. I reached for the punch and put my hand on hers.

"Hey, is it alright if I hold your hand?"

"Yeah, sure."

We walked out holding hands outback in the backyard where we would practice. She put the punch down and gave me a hug.

"Thank you for accepting me. For being with me. I don't know what I would have done without you."

"Uh, sure. Look, you don't need me for everything, because your perfect the way you are. I didn't accept you, I loved you. It's different, but I can accept you too." I said. "But I may have had to accept a little crazy too." I said sarcastically.

"Hehe. Very funny." She smiled. She's so beautiful and perfect.

"There's that smile I was looking for. You look beautiful."

"Thanks."

We then started working on our soul resinence. It was more easy, it must have been because we trust each other even more than we did before. We were in love, about to go on our first date in a few more hours. I know she would look beautiful. She tried something else when we were practicing, Genie Hunter. It was harder than what we usually do, so why? Why would she try it? She had an attempt, and succeded.

"Wow Maka, I didn't know you could do Genie Hunter."

"I didn't know either." I guess it was because I trust her more.

After a half an hour of practicing it was 6 o'clock. So I left and said goodbye to get ready for our date.

Maka's POV:

I got my dress that I previously picked out, the emerald one. I got dressed in it, and took my hair out, so it was down. I didn't want a lot of makeup, so I put a little blush on instead. I wanted to find him a present, for saying yes to me. I didn't think he would want someone like me, but I guess he does. 

I then went to the store, what should I get him? There were many clothes, and food, art supplies, and lot of magnets, but what should I get him? Should I make him something? I figured that I should. I got some paints, glue, paper, and some magnets. When I got home it was 6:35, so I hurried up making whatever I was going to make. I made a little magnet with our names, it said "Soul and Maka forever" with a heart around it, I figured it would be the perfect thing for him. But then I found out something, our names together can be SoMa, you know, for his name and mine. I made another magnet with a drawing of us, and then SoMa under it. I loved both of them, and I hope he does too. I quickly wrapped them up and started off.

I walked down to Death Bucks Cafe. It was almost 7, so I was a little early. I walked in to see Soul already sitting down. He had a blue tux, kind of nice actually. And his hair was slicked back a little more than usual. I sat down across from him to see he already ordered us something, because the waiter gave us a shake, and two pies. 

"Uh, thanks." I said as they walked away. I sat down at the table and looked at Soul.

"So, would you like to share a shake?"

"Yeah, I would love to." We started sipping the shake down until it was all gone.

"So uh, what do you got there?" He asked me. I almost forgot about the present.

"Oh, this thing. It's a present to you of course."

"For what?"

"I guess for asking me to ask you on a date? Or you asking me?"

"Ok then. What is it?"

"See for yourself." He opened them and a smile appeared on his face.

"They are cute. I love them...........I have a present for you too."

"Oh yeah, what is it?" 

"This." He leaned in and kissed me and then put a flower in my hair.

"Oh, a flower? It's pretty."

"I know, it matches your eyes." He is so nice. Caring, charming, handsome, everything you could ever ask for.

We started eating our pies, and when we finished he noticed something.

"Hey, you got a little something on your face."

"Huh, where?"

"Here, I'll get it." He wiped a piece of pie off my face. "There." I love him so much. I blushed and leaned in and we had a slow kiss, and then we left to go back home.
