"Dad, meet my friend Siddharth. Where are you Dad?" shouted Suhana as she entered Chatterjee Mansion along with a handsome boy Siddharth Basu or Sid as everyone else calls him.
"Coming beta, hold on for a second .Make him settle down first" said Dr.Dev Chatterjee as he wiped his beautiful wife Sonakshi and his photograph in their yester years.

A lone tear trickled down his old face covered with broad spectacles when he recalled how uneasy he felt that even though being a reputed doctor of his field, he can't save his dying yet beautiful wife. He hurriedly wiped his tears and kept the photo frame on his study table .

This study table is his constant companion since Sonakshi left him. Suhana was born to Sonakshi before she left him in a mist of her memories. Natasha,his second wife cum best friend forever is currently in Toronto, Canada with his  son Shubh.

"Dad, where were you? I know since maa is with bro you're busy in completing that book of yours" quirked Suhana while hugging his dad.

"Yeah Uncle, Suhana told me about some tragic story of yours, but I wish to listen it from you, please Uncle" requested Siddharth.

After a lot of pestering and requests, Dr. Dev decided to turn back to those pages of his life which are still fresh on his mind.

"I and Sonakshi were childhood friends, we were born in same cities, we fled to Delhi for higher studies together, we lived in same apartment, and our parents had no objection in it. While I went for medicals in AIIMS, she was in St.Stephens for Fine Arts. She was lively, full of life and outgoing while I was an introvert. One fine day, while we were having our breakfasts together, I proposed her by giving her my maa's rings".

Flashback

"Dev where are you?, I have been waiting for you since last 5 hours in your favourite restaurant" asked Sonakshi in anger.

"Sorry Sona,I will be there in five minutes..actually had an emergency to attend" replied Dev in hesitation.

"What's wrong with you Dev?. It's your birthday today and you made me wait for 5 hours. The day you will lose me forever,you will know my importance" said Sonakshi disconnecting the phone in exhaustion.

"Hello Sona..are you there?.I wish I could tell you I'm already on the verge of loosing you"replied Dev to the dead phone and hurries his car to resturant.

Flashback Ends

"It was my last birthday which I celebrated with her,she was angry..but I always knew the way of manofying her" Dev chuckled through tears.

After a brief pause,Dev continued telling about the hovering emotions of love saga of DevAkshi as Sona used to ship them together.

"She was shocked by my words, she coughed harder and harder. She rushed to bathroom while I was cursing myself waiting on the table. We were in our twenties, hardly our graduation was finished. She was vomiting full of blood, but didn't told me about it. She smiled at me while I blushed".

Suhana looked at Siddharth and softly whispered "I love you Sid, I won't leave you forever" and Sid's eyes were moist on hearing it.

Dr.Dev continued after drinking a glass of water offered by Suhana who stood beside her dad "One day, on her birthday she came to surprise me in my hospital. On her way to my cabin, she fainted in the hall. She was admitted to an ICU where doctors examined her".

Flashback

"What is the name of patient Sir?" asked Dr.Dev with deep concern.

"Sonakshi Bose, Daughter of renowned industrialist Mr.Bijoy Bose. She is his only heir to Bose Empire" replied Dr.Abhimanyu Malik.

"WHAT! ? What happened to her doctor?" enquired Dev as all the moments spent with her gushed in his head, all mixed up.

"Seems as if you know her, how do you know her?" enquired a pensive looking Dr.Malik as he was reading her reports.

"She's my wife, please doctor tell me naa what's wrong with her?" panicked Dev.

"Blood Cancer, the last stages of surviving for her" said Dr.Malik while handing over his reports to him.

Dev was shocked, didn't said a word and hurriedly went to Sonakshi's ward. She was still unconscious and lying on her bed. He came outside and sat on a bench as if hit by a storm.

Flashback Ends

To lighten up the tensed atmosphere,
Sidharth asked "Uncle how did you confess your love to aunty?."

Dev's hazel eyes led a watery chuckle as he recalled most beautiful evening of his life.

"It was most beautiful evening of my life..Almost at midnight of full moon night,I called her up. According to her, full moon night is most romantic night".

Flashback

"I love you Ms.Bose" said Dev widening his arms around her.

"You love me as a friend right?" asked
Soankshi in hesitation.

"I love you as a man would love a woman" replied back Dev with a wide smile on his face.

"Will you please hug me Dev?. I still can't believe it you confessed" asked Soankshi with tears brimmed eyes.

Dev hugged her tightly around her waist while she could only whisper softly in his ears "I love you too Mr.Obhodro".

Flashback Ends

"Wov Uncle,what a beautiful confession" chirped Sid.

Suhana could only pass a beautiful smile on listening to her mom and dad's confession.
