Jai POV:

I think I overreacted and over thought of everything. Why did I even thought that she would do something like that? Why did I thought that she is here for money? Why did I judge her in the first sight? I shouldn't have done that. I am really an idiot.

Today I think I had the long conversation ever with her. When I first thought about Vikram Dad office, it is actually mind blowing work. But I was more surprised when I got to know that she did it. Omg. That was really awesome work. So without second thought I said yes.

Later in the night she spoke just a like a business person. Of course. She is beauty with brains. But what I did is not correct. So I thought that I have to apologize. After having dinner, I went to her room. But she was not there. So I searched for her. Finally I saw in terrace at my favourite spot.

" What are u doing here at this time? " I asked. She was shocked by sudden voice then she composed herself.

" This is my favourite spot. " she said. Is she a mind reader?

" Yours too. " I said.

" Means? " she asked.

" Mine too. " I said looking into sky.

We were silent for a while. Just staring into sky and enjoying the view.

" I am sorry. " I said.

" For what? " she asked.

" For talking to u like that in the morning. " I said.

" It's okay. " she said.

" No I really mean it. " I said.

" I know. Let's just leave it. Just remember one thing. Everything has it's opposite. If there is good, there is bad too. If there is happiness, there is sad too. And if someone hurt u that doesn't mean that everyone are like that. Give a chance to others too. " she said.

" May be u are right. But my life is not as easy as u think. " I said.

" If your life is so complicated then let others help u with it. Don't avoid others. Don't run away from reality. " she said.

" I need time. " I said frankly.

" I know that. U will. " she said. I smiled at her, may be I am smiling at someone genuinely after many days.

" Thanks for understanding. " I said. She took smiled at me.

" If u don't mind u can share your past and sorrows with me. It may help u. " she said. Mention of the past made my blood boil.

" Please don't talk about that. " I roared.

" Sorry " she said. Then I realised that I scared her.

" It's not u. It's my past. I just don't want to remember what happened that day and even after that. " I said. I felt hand on mine.

" Trust me. Even I don't want u to. But if u don't let that out of u, u can't. " she said. I felt something different in her words.

" I will. But not now. May be some other time. " I said.

" Sure. When ever u want to. Just remember that I will be with u. " she said and left. I stood there. She is really something.

After a while even I went to my room to rest.

Mayuri POV:

The talk I had last night with Jai proved that, he is not what he is now. Definitely he is closed. He need to change to what he is. For that he need to forget his past. So I thought I will make some plans to show him how beautiful the life will be.

In these thoughts I prepared the breakfast. Today it's my first day in college after marriage and first day in office too. So I got up a little early and made everything ready. Even curries for lunch. I instructed the helpers about everything. Because I don't know when I will come back to home.

" Good morning Mayu. " uncle wished coming down.

" Good morning uncle. " I wished back.

" So ready to go to college. " he said. I nodded.

" Why is Jai not yet down.?  Mayu where is he?  Is he still sleeping? " he asked. What should I answer?  He doesn't know that we stay in different rooms. He never comes upstairs because of his knee problems.

" Uncle. I will just check on him. " saying this I ran up to his room.

I slowly opened the door. He was still sleeping. He was so cute in the sleep. I didn't want to wake him up. But for sure he has to. So I went to him and tried to wake him up. But he didn't. Then I got a idea. I started tickling him. It worked. Because he moved to other side.

Then I went to the other side and did the same. Suddenly he caught my hand dragged me on to him. I was shocked and I can feel his breath on my face, there were goosebumps all over my body. He is still closing his eyes.

" Stop it Sonia. " he said. When he said that my smile vanished. My eyes were blur with tears. He opened his eyes and saw me. He moved away immediately.

" I am Mayuri. Get ready or else u will be late. " I said and walked away. For sure it hurts to hear other women's name from your husband.

I went down and told uncle that he will be coming. A while later he came down. He took seat next to uncle and ate the breakfast. I packed lunch for him and myself.

" Jai. Drop Mayu. " uncle said.

" No problem uncle. I will go by myself. " I said. Jai just stared at me as if reading my mind.

" No. I am dropping u. That's final. " he said and got up. I didn't want to argue in front of uncle. So I just followed him. The whole ride was silent. When we reached my college.

" I will pick u up at 2. Is that fine? " he asked. I nodded. I got down the car and walked inside without looking back.
