Jai POV:

" You are a gold digger. How many people did you fool around.? " Depali was shouting at her.

What the hell?

" Mayuri. I never thought you would stoop this low for money. " said someone.

" Even I never that you can do this Mayuri. I am ashamed to say that you were my friend. Chee. " Lilly said. I am sure Mayuri will be in tears now. But why are they blaming her.

" What the hell is going on here? " I shouted. Everyone looked at me expect she. I think she is so shocked and upset.

" Sir, Depali found some photos in her system, which are like you are marrying her. She is trying to plan to get money from you. So cunning. " one employee said. I looked at Depali. She has a smirk on her face as if she did something every great.

" So... " I said. I walked to the crowd and took a clear look at Mayu. Yes she is in tears. With my thumb I cleared her tears. Then she looked at me blankly. I heard few gasps too.

" What made you all think she is a gold digger.? " I asked. Rather screamed.

" Sir, didn't you hear what we said.? " other said. Then I glared at them.

" You should have asked me without jumping into conclusions. " I told them coldly.

" Those photos are real. She is my wife. We are married. " I said putting my hand around her shoulder. She is still not uttering a word.

" What? " I heard many shocking voices. Then I looked at Depali.

" Your work here is not to invade into someone's personal life. You are here to work. " I said to her.

" We didn't want to tell anyone. Because we never wanted to merge our personal and professional life. " I said to all.

" From now on, treat her with all the respect. If I come to know that this is repeated, you all will be most welcome to get new pair of shoes so that you can search for a new job. " I said. Everyone put their head down.

" Am I clear? " I asked. They all nodded.

" Make the conference hall ready. " I ordered and walked to my cabin with Mayu. I made her sit. And gave her a glass of water.

" Are you okay? " I asked. She looked at me and smiled.

" Ya. I am okay. More than okay. Thanks. " she said. I kissed her forehead. Then there is a knock on the door.

" Please get in. " I said. Lilly walked in.

" Sir, clients are ready. But... " she was trying to figure to tell me something.

" But what? " I asked in authoritative voice.

" Sir, presentation is missing. " she said.

" What? " I screamed. She looked so scared. Now how can we proceed.

" Sir, I think after what happened today, Depali did this. " she said. I clenched my jaw. Then I felt a hand on mine. It was Mayu.

" Don't worry. I know something like this may happen. I have a copy with me. " she said. Thank God.

" You are perfect. " I said taking her.

" With you. " she completed. And we hugged. Someone cleared their throat.

" Sir, we will be late. " Lilly said and walked out. We both went to hall. There I introduced all of them to her. Later she started giving presentation. Looking at her no one can say that she has childish mentality. No one. She looked so confidence and professional. I felt proud at that moment.

After the presentation, clients were more than happy. We even decided to have a party has the contract is confirmed.

Mayuri POV:

After the confirmation of the contract, he was so happy. I am very glad that I was helpful for Jai to get it. I looked at him. He was so happy and was smiling. I prayed to god that, his smile has to last for ever. But I was not aware of what fate has for us.

After the meeting, I went to Jai cabin.

" So, congratulations. " I said.

" No, congratulations to you wifey. It is not possible without you. " he said. He pulled me close. When our lips were inches away, my phone started ringing. He shut his eyes tightly in frustration. I saw who it is, it was bhai. I looked at Jai. He told me to answer. I walked out of cabin to attend the call.

" Hello bhai, what's up? " I said.

" ohho. Someone is in good mood and fully energetic. " he said. I smiled at his comment.

" Yes. Jai got the contract. " I said.

" That's great. Say my congratulations to him. And I will get a gift for you both. " he told me. You broke our moment, pray to god that Jai doesn't break your head. I thought to myself.

" So. You need any help? " I asked him.

" How did you know that I needed some help? " he encountered me with a question.

" Because I know you all and also I am too smart. " I said.

" Ya that's true. Okay. I wanted to take Icha out. So that it will be helpful for her too. " he completed.

" Okay. Take her for a drive and then a lunch. Let it be simple. It should not look like a romantic one. I mean you can have such things in future. But right now, she is not in a position to understand your love. " I said him what I thought would be good.

" Ya, I think you are right. " he said.

" Okay then I will meet you to tomorrow to night at dinner. " I said.

" Are you coming? " he asked.

" ya. I am planning. Don't tell mom and dad. I will ask Jai and will let you all know. " I said.

" Your lovely husband won't say no to you don't worry. " he said.

" Shut up. " I scolded him sweetly.

" What? I think you two are perfect. And as long as you both won't hide anything from each other. Any relation will last for long. " he said. After hearing those words, my world stopped at once.

That's true. But I am still hiding a truth from him. Will he be the same when he cones to know the truth. Will this love last? I don't know. And I am scared.

" Are you there. ?" I heard my brother.

" Ya. I am. Bye. I will talk to you later. " I said.

" Okay. Bye. " he said.

I disconnected the call and connected to my thought process. It is better if I tell him as soon as possible.

Aman POV:

After talking to my little sister. I decided according to what she said. It should be like a refreshment outing for her. So let's keep it simple. I soon called up one of my employee to make the arrangements.

I got ready and went to Icha's house. Uncle and aunty are still mad at me. I know why. That's why I thought I will gain their love back. But it will take time. This side my mom and dad are too angry with me. Let's just hope all this ends soon. I can't take it any longer. I know after telling truth no one hates me. But they will loose trust on Icha. I don't want that. I love her, and for her I can do anything.

As I reached their house, I saw her parents.

" Hi, uncle and aunty. " I wished them. They too wished me back.

" Aman, I am warning you. Never hurt her again. " uncle said. I nodded at him.

" She will come down in two minutes. " aunty said. As she said Icha came down in two minutes. She wore a pink dress. And she looks simple and perfect.

But she didn't even spare a look at me. I bid good bye to her parents and came out with her. I got my bike.

" Shall we go? " I asked her. She nodded. That's all. She is not even looking, neither talking to me.

We had a long drive. All the while, I take a glance at her through mirror. She was silent all the way. She didn't even ask me where I am taking her.

When we reached the destiny, I parked the bike. It is her favourite restaurant. But as it is far Icha and Mayuri come here rarely. I told to book a separate table. And I made sure it is not decorated. I guided her inside. She walking far away from me, as if I am some dangerous animal.

We sat at our table and I placed the order.

" So are you okay? " I asked her.

" What do you think I am like? " she asked me back.

" I mean, you didn't talk much. " I said trying to reason.

" Why should I talk? That too with you? " she back fired me. I didn't know how to answer that. I mean, what she meant by not talking to me.

" I am sorry if I caused any inconvenience to you. " I said.

" Stop it Aman. Why are you doing all this? To show sympathy on me. Or to show off to world. Cut it off. And stop being like a gentleman. And I don't want any of your service here. I am good all by myself. I never thought you will do this. What do you think of yourself.? I am here heart broken. And you are just increasing my pain. Oh god. Why did I even come with you?  Take me home now. " she almost shouted at me and stood up.

" Get one thing Icha. I am not a jerk. And if I wanted to show sympathy then for sure I won't marry you. Instead I would have got a alliance for you. Secondly, if I want to show off to world, I would never lie that it is my baby. Thirdly I love you. Yes I loved you, I love you and I will love you. If you dont want to get married to me. Please tell. I will end it. " I said.

" Now let's go. " I said and walked out. She was also stunned by my outburst. I drove back and dropped her. She looked at me but I couldn't be there and left immediately. How could she think so low about me?
