Mayuri POV:

As I entered my bhai room, it was totally messed up. He was standing in the balcony. I started taking slow steps towards, making sure that I don't step on glass pieces.

He stood there staring into empty sky as if trying to find something very special or important thing that he has lost. He was never like this. He never thought that getting frustrated would give him a solution but now. What's wrong with him. One thing I understood is something is really bothering him. I just wonder what it is. He is like this since he heard about Icha. Does he got to do something with that?

" Bhai, " I called him out. I am little scared too. Because he was NEVER like this. Oh God please help me out. I am scared of my own brother now. Life actually make us to face which we really don't want to. Like this.

" Bhai, you wanted to talk to me. What's the matter? " I asked out loud this time. He turned to me. He looked tired. As if he he stressed himself a lot. He look exactly like a mess.

" Bhai what's wrong? " I asked approaching him. When I was near to him, I saw a cut in his hand. It's bleeding. He didn't even do first aid.

" Omg. What's that? " I asked pointing at the wound. He ignored my question. I went to him. He didn't even let me touch his hand. I looked at him surprised. Now what did I do? But the hurt, pain is clearly visible in his eyes. His state is like someone is slicing his heart each second.

I took his hand and dragged him to bed and made him sit. Then I took first aid box and started cleaning the wound. He winced in pain. I had tears in my eyes. He is more than a brother to me. He was there every time when I was in pain. Now he is. I don't know about what he is doing all this to himself. But I will make sure he won't feel it anymore. He slowly wiped away my tears.

" Bhai, tell me one thing.? " I said still cleaning his wound.

" Anything. " he said.

" If I am in big trouble or problem? Won't you be with me, to sit beside me, to sooth me, to hold my hand, to make me strong, to make me smile, to make me face anything? " I asked.

" Why are you even asking that? Don't you know that. I will be there for you at anytime, for anything forever. " he said. I looked at him.

" Then you too let me share your pain, let me help you. To make you smile. " I said. He closed his eyes in regret.

" Sorry. I don't want to pull you into a mess. " he said.

" So should I do the same thing. Not telling you anything anymore. " I said.

" No. I didn't mean that. Mayu look at me. I really don't know what I have done or going to do? So let me clear my mind. Then I will tell you for sure. " he said.

" Okay. But you wanted to talk to me about something. " I said.

" Oh ya. Actually I wanted to tell you that..... " he was about to say when my stupid phone started ringing.

" Bhai, I am sorry. One sec. " I told him. I took out my mobile from my bag. It is a call from Icha's mom.

" Hello aunty. " I said. The words next I heard from her made my world get crashed in one sec. I couldn't think of anything. All I want to do now is to run somewhere, where I may not be able to hear anything and cry out my heart.

I felt someone shaking me.

" Mayu, what happened.? Why are you crying? Who is that on phone? " bhai showered me with questions.

" Bhai... It..s.. Icha.. In.. Hospital. " however I completed my sentence.

" What? " he shouted. I started crying.

" Mayu. Listen to me. Tell me clearly. What happened? " he asked again. Now I am on my knees on the floor.

" Bhai. She committed suicide. " I said. He to sat off on the floor. He too was speechless. Soon he got and made me stand.

" Mayu. Listen. You are the one who has to be strong now. You have to handle aunty and uncle. So don't cry. She will be fine. Let's go now. " he said. We walked down. My saw my parents coming inside.

" So dear. How was your day with Jai.? What happened to... " they saw our state. Bhai said them everything

But all I could think of is Icha. How could she? Did she at least think of the baby once? Did she thought that I was dead? Oh no. God please save them. I can't imagine losing her. She is just like my sister.

" Beta. Let's go. They need us more now. " my dad said. Soon we reached hospital. I ran to aunt and uncle. Aunty was crying badly. I went and hugged her.

" Mayu. Meri gudiya? ( my daughter) " aunty said.

" Aunty. Be strong. She will be fine. All our love and blessings are with her. Nothing will happen to her. She will be all good. " I said. But that didn't work.

" We are not able to understand why she took this decision. " uncle said. I know but right now I can't say to them. I will tell when I hear that they both are safe.

My mom came sat with aunty. My brother went to talk to doctors.

" I think I will call the best doctors whom I know. " my dad said walking away. Uncle too followed him.

I walked to Ganesh statue there and started praying for him to save them. All the while tears are running down my cheeks.

Then I got a phone. I looked at my phone. It was Jai.

" Hello Mayuri." He said as soon as I picked up the call. I didn't say anything.

" Mayuri, is everything okay? Are you crying? " he asked. Hell yes I was.

" Mayuri. Please speak out. What happened? " he asked. Then I told him the situation. He listened to me patiently.

" Okay. I will be there in 15 minutes. " he said.

" No. That's fine. We all are fine. " I said still crying.

" Ya right. That's why I am hearing cries. Let me be with you. " he said.

" Okay. " I said. I went in and sat. Just praying for the best. As he said, Jai came in 15 minutes. As soon as I saw him, I ran and hugged him as my life depended on him. He comforted me. I cried on him.

" Mayuri. Look at me. Stop crying. She will be fine. Okay. Nothing will happen to her. " he said kissing my crown. He made me sit on the bench. Still I am side hugging him. I really needed him.

After like an hour doctors came out of the operation theater.

" Doctor please tell me that my daughter is fine. " uncle said holding doctors hands. I was stuck to Jai. He was holding me from falling off.

" Yes. Don't worry. Now she is out of danger. Although she needs a lot of rest. We need to be more careful from now. " doctor said. We all got relieved.

" Okay sure. We will take care of her well. " said Aunty.

" You should. Because the BABY also became weak. It was very hard to save the baby. But we did. So extra care is very necessary. " doctor said dropping the bomb on elders. I looked at Jai. He told me that everything will be fine.

" What? Wait a minute. What baby are you talking about? " aunty asked.

" What baby am I talking about.? Your grand child. You do know that she is pregnant, don't you? " the doctor said. All looked so shocked. Uncle collapsed on to chair.

" Yes we do know. We will take care. " oh not me. Surprisingly Bhai said that. Soon doctor went away to cabin.

" I will get the prescription. " said my dad and went to doctor cabin. Aunty and uncle looked at me.

" Mayu and Aman. Do you both know about this? " uncle asked me. I didn't know what to answer. I just nodded my head.

" What? And you didn't tell us. " said aunty.

" Aunty sorry to interrupt. But they too got to know yesterday. Mayuri was about to tell you guys. " Jai said on my behalf.

" I can't believe that she did that. " said uncle.

" Uncle please don't get into conclusions. Give a chance to her. " I said.

" Do you know who the father is? " asked aunty. I nodded my head as no.

" Well then who is the father? " uncle said .

" I am the father. " came a voice. We all turned to the source. It was bhai.

What the hell??????
