Jai POV:

We are on the way to my surprise. I hope she will like it. Fingers crossed.

But she is not at all in a good mood. I think it is about Icha. I don't know much about them. I think I will involve only if they want me to.

The one thing that I understood and decided by yesterdays incident is,

1. I will trust her no matter what.

2. I will never leave her hand in my life.

3. I want to give this relationship a chance.

" There is no rule to be silent. " I said.

" What? Did you say something? " she asked. I think she came out of her dream world.

" Yup. I was asking you what are you thinking so seriously.? " I said.

" Oh. Nothing. I am just thinking of... " she was thinking of words to fill.

" Of Icha. " I completed.

" How do you know? " she asked.

" I can read people's mind. " I said.

" This time you are correct. But really you can't read people's mind. " she said. I looked at her.

" You think you know me more than I know myself.?" I asked.

" Yup. I do. " she said.

" Let's see that too. " I said with a smirk.

" Okay then. Let's see. " she said smiling. To be Frank, people will die for that smile.

Soon we reached our destination. I got down and she too did. While we stood in front of the building, Mayu was so shocked.

" How do you know about this? " she asked.

" Let's say, I am smart. " I said. She looked at me,

" Let's say that for a while. " she said and smiled.

It is a orphanage, which is the most favourite place for her to spend. As soon as kids saw her, they ran to her.

" Didi ( sister), " they all jumped on her. She went in with them.

Mayuri POV:

I never expected this from Jai. For everyone surprise means going to some fancy or private area. But for me this is more than enough. I love spending time with these kids.

" Mayu, how are you? It has been a long time. " said a kid.

" Cholly. (Sorry) I was a little busy. I am fine. How are you all? " I asked them.

" We are not fine. You forgot us. " other one said.

" No. See I am holding my ears. I will never repeat this. " I said like a baby. They smiled. But I heard a chuckle. I know who it is. I glared at him.

" Who is he? Did he kidnap you? " Little girl asked. Jai was shocked listening to that. I burst out laughing seeing his expression.

" No. He didn't. Let's say, he is our new friend. " I said.

" New friend!!!!  But we need to take a test to let him into our gang. " saying this few boys dragged him out of the room. I laughed hardly. Soon I started playing with them. Then the in charge came.

" Thanks Mayu. " she said.

" Why are you thanking me? " I asked her.

" You not only spend your time with the kids. You also got funds. " she said.

Usually I give funds from what I earn. But now I didn't.

" I didn't get any. " I said.

" No I mean, your husband gave and also many of his business friends. " she said. I looked at Jai. He was happily playing with kids. He was looking so cute just like a baby. Carefree. Happy, joyful. My feelings towards him became more strong now.

The kids are pulling his hair, ears, and basically torturing him, but he seems to be enjoying it a lot. I smiled at the scene in front of me. He looked at me.

Jai with kids. 👆

" What are you looking at? " he asked. I shook my head saying nothing. Till afternoon we spent time with them.

Later in the car,

" Thanks. " I said.

" For what? " he asked.

" For everything. " I said.

" No need to thank. I did what I can. " he said.

" So have lunch and go. You already skipped breakfast. " I said.

" What? " he said.

" Lunch at home? Do you have any meetings. ?" I asked. He started laughing.

" What? " I asked being confused.

" Who said we are going home? " he said.

" Then? " I asked.

" Your surprises are not yet over. " he said.

" So where are we going now.? " I asked. Now I am excited.

" Wait and watch. " he said. We drove for a while. Then he stopped near a hotel. We got down.

" Sir, your lunch is ready. " said a manager of the hotel.

" Okay. Thanks. " said Jai. I looked at him. He took my hand and guided me. But his touch gave me shivers. He took me to a garden of the hotel. I can see no one. But the arrangements made me stun.

It was just both of us, in between the nature. Simply to say, I loved it.

" Wow. You made these arrangements. " I said.

" Kind of. I asked them to make like this. I hope you liked it. " he said.

" Are you kidding me? I loved it. " I said.

" I am glad that you did. " he said.

" Shall we? " he said.

" Sure. " I said. We had lunch. To my surprise everything was my favourite.

" How did you know about my likes? " I asked.

" Let's say, I have my know sources. " he said with a grin.

" Come on. Tell me. " I asked.

" Those kids told me. Happy. " he said. I smiled at him. We had lunch and also took photos there. I loved the day.

" Thank you so much for everything. " I said. He smiled at me.

" So what next? " I asked.

" How do you know that I am not done with my plans yet?. " he countered me.

" Let's say, I can read people's mind. " I said. He laughed.

" Let's go. " he said taking my hand. I felt it so right. I felt so warm and safe in his grip.

While we are on the way, I got a call from bhai.

" Hello bhai, " I said.

" Mayu, by what time will you reach home? " he asked. He sounded weird.

" I am not sure. By what time will you drop me home? " I asked Jai.

" May be in two hours. " Jai said.

" Bhai I will reach home in two hours. What happened? " I asked him.

" Nothing. Come home then I want to talk to you. " he said.

" Okay. See you at home. " I said.

" What happened? Is everything fine? " Jai asked.

" Yup. But bhai sound low. I don't know what is happening. " I said really irritated.

" Relax. Everything will be fine. " he said. I gave him a warm smile.

" We reached. " he said. I came out of my chain of thoughts. I got down. Actually he got me to a temple.

" Let's go inside. " he said.

We walked in.

Jai POV:

Everything went perfectly till now. I hope even now it will. We walked in and took blessings of Pandit ji.

Later I took Mayuri hand and started telling her what I wanted to,

" Mayuri, I know I have been a horrible husband a girl can ever dream off. I behaved like a jerk. But I didn't do any of those intentionally. You know from past few months my fate gave me many surprises. Taking away my parents and memories with them. Then the girl whom I loved more than anything in this world left me. In all this mess, you came into my life.

That's why, I didn't know what I was doing back then. But you never gave up. You never showed your back to me. But what I did yesterday is beyond limit. But that too I did because, I couldn't imagine you with anyone else. All of sudden I became so possessive.

I don't know whether this love or not. But one thing is clear to me that I need you in my life. In every step of my life. And also I am not sure when I can give you my heart , because it is just that I need time. I really want to make this relation work. Let's start a fresh life. I brought you here so to make a promise in front of God.

Hope you will understand me and forgive me. " I said. By then she was crying. Without saying anything she hugged me. I too hugged her back.

" I am sorry for lying to you. Yes I will be with you. You are forgiven. " she said. We broke the hug. I wiped away her tears.

" And dare you call my husband a jerk. " she said. We both burst out into laugh.

This smile will make my day. Later I took her home and dropped. As I had meeting, I left soon.

Mayuri POV:

Today what happened at the temple was like a dream. I am so surprised to hear all those words from Jai. Thinking about that, I entered house with a smile.

Then I remembered bhai, and I went to his room. To my surprise everything was broken in his room. A to Z. What's going on?
