You are at the SVU HQ talking to Fin about the merits of using social media as an undercover tool 

"it won't work like that" Fin says not budging from his stance 

"it will work because it ads in making the persona real and anyway it gives proof that the person is real" you say 

"what about catfishing" he retorts 

"going undercover is the physical version of catfishing hello Serge" you say noticing Olivia has entered the room followed by everyone else

"OK we have a rape and murder (Y/N), Carisi I want you to go to the crime scene, Fin and I will talk to the neighbours" she declares

"yes boss" you and Carisi parrot at the same time

ten minutes later you and Dominick have arrived at the crime scene to find the body of a fifteen-year-old boy spread out as if he was crucified 

"oh god" you say disgusted at the scene in front of you thinking about what happened to your brother nine years ago 

"excuse me are you the detectives" a woman speaks up 

"yes I'm detective Carisi and this is my partner detective (Y|L|N)" Carisi replies to the woman 

"can you tell us anything" you say getting down to business 

"well I was out but when I got I found my son Calum's body" she sobs 

"who was he with last time" Carisi ask 

"his nanny" she replies before she sobs again 

"look we will find whoever did this" you promise as you start to write notes 

"oh this is the contact number for the nanny before I forget" the boy's mum says as she hands Dominick a card

"thank you" he says as he takes the card

 "when we get back I will call the number" you say discreetly to Dominick 

"ok thanks" he replies  

Flashback: you and your brother are in a fight with the worst hag possible

"you bloody bitch" your foster mother screams at your brother 

"he didn't do anything" you say 

"what did you say hore" she says turning on you 

"you heard me bitch" you say defiantly. Your foster mother approaches you and gives you a massive slap which knocks you to the ground.

Ten minutes later and you and Carisi are back at the SVU HQ 

"(Y/N) are you ok you look horrified" Dominick asks 

"well I am because the Vic was a teenager and he had the rest of his life" you reply but it's not the full reason 

"when we are done do you want a cup of coffee" he asks trying to perk you up 

"ok fine" you say as you start the paperwork 

"(Y/N) before you get too engrossed in your work can get you give me a preliminary brief?" Olivia Benson asks 

"well the body was laid as if he was crucified and we interviewed the boy's mother and she gave us the nanny's number and then I recorded notes of the body's position in relation to the room" you reply as you take out your notepad which has three pages of notes and a sketch you did 

"it's better explained in my notes" you pass the notebook to Olivia

 "anyway you have to call the nanny" Carisi polity reminds you as he passes you the card that the boy's mum gave you

"yes thank you" you say as you take the card and dial the number 

"hello can I help you" the nanny says as she answers the phone 

"yes you can I am detective (Y|LN) with the SVU and I wish to know if you can come down to the precinct for some questioning" you say 

"what time can I come" she asks really concerned 

"anytime tomorrow" you reply knowing that you will have a lot of paperwork and a coffee date with Dominick 

"ok thanks bye" the nanny replies and hangs up.
