Marinette's  POV:
  The next day, Marinette is glad everything is okay between her and Adrien. She is less upset now that she is sure he does not regret proposing to her. She and Adrien go on a nice date together.

   It is just the two of them. Nothing could go wrong.

   She does not notice the hot air balloon overhead. She misses it when it crash lands in the park's fountain.

     She is about to kiss Adrien when she hears screams. Not now, she thinks.

   "Adrien, I am sorry, but I have to go!"

"What? In the middle of our date, why?"

   "I  need to go find a new set of curtains for my room!" She makes this up as the curtains there are just fine. 

  Marinette runs off and hides. She is glad no one saw her.

     "Tikki spots on!"  She transforms.

  Adrien makes sure the coast is clear. He calls out, "Plagg, claws out!"

  Ladybug's  POV:

   Ladybug swings past the area where Adrien stands and sees a flash of light. She gasps in surprise when she sees him disappear and Chat reappear. So, Adrien is Chat. 

   She grins. She thinks maybe I can use this to my advantage.

  The villain laughs at Chat Noir and Ladybug.

    "Hey, give me the Miraculous, both of you!"

    "Nah, we rather keep them!"  Ladybug answers.

   "No, the ring looks way better on me, right, m' lady?" 

    "Chat, this is no time for flirting."

    "Yes, I know the business, as usual, Bugaboo."

         "So, what is with that absurd  outfit?"

       "It happens to go great with my hair," She scoffs.

      "By great, you mean it looks like you put in a light socket."        

         "Lucky Charm!"  Ladybug gets a coat rack.  Hmm, she thinks, what am I going to do with this thing?

         "Ha, that is so crazy!  You will never defeat Miss Ballons with that item."

         "Chat Noir, the akuma is in her left shoe."

     Chat runs towards the crook and "Cataclysm!" He touches her shoe and disintegrates. 

         The akuma flies free just as Ladybug said as much. Ladybug catches it with her yoyo, purifies it, and lets it go.

      "Miraculous Ladybug!"  Ladybug tosses the coat rack into the air.

     "Pound it!"  Ladybug and Chat Noir say together as the fist bump

          Ladybug runs off, detransforms, recharges and returns to find Chat on the Effiel Tower.

           "Hi, Chaton!"

       She hugs him from behind.

      As he turns around with a scowl she thinks he is so adorable. She leans and kisses him. 

      "Ladybug, how could you? I am engaged you know!"

     "Yes, I know."

    "Then, why did you kiss me?"

    "Shh, it is me silly, kitty!"

  Ladybug blows the bewildered chat a kiss.  

     Author's note:  www.dictionary.com    defines bewildered as an adjective meaning completely puzzled, or confused; perplexed.           

     She swings away and hides in the shrubs.

  Chat Noir does not see where she lands. He detransforms.

     Now, Adrien is more puzzled than he was before now. What did Ladybug mean?

  Ladybug's  POV:

   "Hi, Adrien, cutie!"

   "Ah, Ladybug you scared me!"

   "Ha, ha you are so funny!"

   "I have a girl."

  "So, I have heard."

       Ladybug pulls him close. She kisses him for the second time that day. Only this time it was Ladybug to Adrien instead of Ladybug to Chat Noir.

  Adrien's  POV:
   Adrien gives into the kiss. He puts his arms around Ladybug.

    He feels the guilt settle in. What will Marinette think?  What if she finds out I kissed Ladybug?

       Mmm, he moans. Suddenly, he pulls away.

      "Ladybug, Marinette is important to me. I can not let her go. I love her!"

       Ladybug's  POV:
       "I know, and once you said you loved me as well."

       "Besides, Adrien  I am your girl."

       "I have always been her."

        She leaves and arrives in her room shortly afterward.

       With a smirk, she detransforms.

         Marinette's  POV:
         "Tikki, do not give me that look!"

        "Besides, it is only fair I tease him a little."

        "I mean all those times he teased me as Chat.  I see it as payback in a way. Besides, I am not wrong, he is my finance."

      She is so happy Adrien is Chat. She is not sure how she forgot anyway but is glad to have her memory back.

       Adrien's  POV:

           Adrien runs home. He goes to check on Marinette and finds her in her room.

          "Marinette, you will not believe what just happened to me."

         "Oh, and what is it darling?"  

           "Ladybug kissed me!"  

         He thought she would be upset, but instead, she laughs. He can not understand.  He raises an eyebrow in confusion.

         Marinette walks over to him.  She puts a hand in his hair and plays with it.

         "Maybe this will refresh your memory, Adrikitty."  She whispers into his ear.

          His face turns red.

            Marinette's  POV:

           Marinette smirks. She has got him where she wants him.

       She pulls him close and kisses him. She hears him moan just a little.

       She feels him return the kiss. Great, so he does remember.

       "Remember me, Chaton?"

        "M-Marinette?  Y-your l-ladybug, but how?  I mean you are my fiance."

         "Yes, I know. Told you, I am your girl."
