Chapter 25: Assumptions
Bonbon's P.O.V.
"What's this about Foxy kissing me?!"
The four of us froze. What are we supposed to do?
"Nothing at all, Mangle. Nothing," the three of us said in unison. I glared at the two mutts. This is making us look more suspicious.
"You guys are like open books, having those goofy grins on your faces," Mangle commented, and her surely her expression isn't quite fitting. She emitted some sort of black aura I never felt from her before.
I looked at Foxy and he gulped. I guess he knows what was coming.
"I heard them clearly and I even used cotton buds this morning to clean my ears to makes sure I am not hearing things!"
Bonnie covered his mouth, he was clearly laughing.
"Shut the f*ck up, Bonnie," Mangle's death glare pointed at him. Bonnie fainted.
I stood there at how amusing this can be. Mangle just cursed! When and how did she learn to do that?!
"Ah, this sure brings back memories," I heard Foxy mutter.
"What do you mean?" I whispered back.
"Last time I stole her cake, she got really...psychotic," Foxy muttered the last word. I froze. Was 'psychotic' an understatement?
But at least we didn't ate her cake this time! God, she didn't even have cake! So what is she angry about?
"Liars," Foxy replied like he had just read my mind. I stared at him. "She had enough of lies."
I nod in agreement.
"And what is it that you two are talking about behind my back?" Mangle asked.
"We're not talking behind your back. We are obviously facing you," Foxy told her in sarcasm.
"Ahh...so Foxy, have you heard about the expression 'People talking in my front'?" Mangle shot back. Foxy was about to roll his eyes.
"If you think about it yourself, it sounds like a normal conversation to me," Foxy replied.
Bonnie stood up beside me. We stared at the fighting cat and dog.
"What are you getting so worked up about?" Foxy asked her. "Bonnie was clearly joking!"
Mangle flushed red. "Well, if you had told me it was a joke in the first place, then we wouldn't end up arguing like this!"
"Ha! You were the one who assumed weird things!" Foxy told her.
"Assumed?! Me?! It was your own fault for ki-" Mangle looked down.
'Ki'? What did she mean?
"Never mind. I was just probably dreaming anyway," Mangle stated as she stormed out of the room.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! I, MANGLE, DECLARE ETERNAL WAR BETWEEN YOU FOXY! YOU WILL FOREVER BE MY RIVAL!!!!!" she shouted as she shut the door close, hard.
"So, now that she's sworn to be your rival, what are you going to do now?" I asked glancing at Foxy.
He scoffed. "Let her be," Foxy muttered and looked down, but not before me noticing that he was smirking. Weird, why?
. . .
Foxy's P.O.V.
Rival, huh? What are we competing for anyway?
. . .
Mangle's P.O.V.
Ugh! That guy is so despicable! I only made assumptions because he...he...Ahhh!!! Snap out of it Mangle! Get your act together!
That's when I remembered I forgot to ask Bonbon about my diary. Ugh!
I stomped my feet angrily as I walked in the hallways. As I walked, hearing my own footsteps, I saw a girl sitting in a corner. She was...weird. She was wearing goth clothes.
I continued walking past her.
"The truth is not always what you see."
I stopped walking after hearing those words. I looked back only to see the girl's back fade as she walked further away while humming a song I don't recognize.
That girl, who was she? Why did I get the feeling we met before?
. . .
Okay! It's been so long, huh? Well, gotta admit this chapter was trash. But I got in the mood for updating but had no idea what to put in this story. Sorry this chapter was short. Keep staying tuned!
