P.O.V. [Name]

It's been one month since me and Velvet started dating. It didn't take long for word to spread throughout the school. Not only because she was a Faunus and I was a human but also because I was on the elite one man team. After word spread CRDL completely stopped their teasing. Even when I wasn't with her they didn't give so much as a dirty look. Which I was thankful for. I was on my way to lunch when I was stopped by the headmaster of Beacon Academy Ozpin.

"Hey [Name]." He said as he approached me. I looked at him and spoke in a respective tone "Yes Mr. Ozpin what can I do for you." He turned serious as soon as I said these words. He looked at me and said "I have a mission for you."

"What is it sir I'm sure I can handle it." I spoke as I looked at him. "Well a very large amount of Grimm as well as a few White fang members have been seen by a set of old ruins. I need you to find out why both are their the white fang shouldn't give you to much trouble but the Grimm are a different story their is a very large amount. Your skills as well as your Semblance make you the perfect person for this mission."

I understood what he meant he was right the white fang for me wouldn't be much of a problem as the Grimm their not a problem as long as as their was less than twenty if their was more than twenty I may be in for a tough fight. "I understand sir. When do I leave?"

He looked at me and said "You leave tonight we have noticed that the number of Grimm grow each day. If you leave any later their may be to many Grimm for you to handle." "I see. Well how long will I be gone for?" "If everything goes as planned you should be back within a week at the most." I simply nodded and walked off towards the cafeteria.

P.O.V. Change Velvet

I was sitting at the table me and [Name] always sat at but for some reason he was late today. I looked to see him walking in he smiled at me got his tray and walked over to the table. He sat down beside me and we talked about how our days had been thus far. He then looked at me with a serious expression and said. "Opzin just told me I got a mission."

I looked at him and I could tell he wasn't joking. "I-I-I see. so when do you leave?" "I leave tonight I don't want you to worry though I promise I'll be fine." I looked at him and he held a smile on his face. "Okay." I was all I managed to say and rather weakly at that. "Listen according to Opzin I should be gone no more than a week at the most."

TIMESKIP ONE WEEK P.O.V Change Velvet

It been one week since [Name] went off on his mission. I was currently at the dorm I was waiting for [Name] to come back. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock at the door.

As I walked to the door I just felt as if this was going to be bad. When I opened the door I saw Opzin. "May I come inside." I nodded and he looked at me and said I'm I have to be the one to tell you this." I looked at him with worried eyes and he continued.

"Yesterday [Name] was supposed to return when we sent a team to find him all we found was this." He held up a piece of fabric that had [Names] semblance on it. "I regret to tell you that we found this in a large pool of blood. We had some scientists do a scan on it and it matched perfectly with [Names]."

I felt my whole world come down in that moment. 'He's gone.' Was all that replayed in my head. 'No more of his warm hugs. No more of him gently petting my ears. No more of his soft caring kisses. No more [Name].'

I just couldn't take this I felt my heart break into a million pieces. I felt lime crying but settled for quiet sods. "W-wait *sod* why'd you *sod* tell me this." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture. "We found this near the blood."

He handed me the picture it was a picture of us on one of our dates in the park. Their was photographer in the park that day and just before he snapped the picture I had kissed [Name] on the cheek. This was the breaking point for me I no longer felt like crying because I was crying.

"I'm sorry I truly am." Was all Opzin said before he left the room. "The one person I fell in love with. The one person who treated me like the love of his life. The person I'll ever love is gone."

TIMESKIP TWO WEEKS P.O.V. Change Blake

"why are we doing this again?" I heard Weiss ask.

"Because she hasn't been to school in a week and she's our friend. We need to try and cheer her up!" I snapped back. Ever since she had gotten word of [Name] she hardly did anything besides leave the house now.

It hadn't worried me that much at first but now she wasn't even showing up for school. According to her team she hardly ever left her room unless it was for food or to use the bathroom.

As we reached the dorm we knocked on the door to see coco open it. She looked at us and smiled. "She's upstairs first room on left." We are walked up to she her on her bed all the lights were off and the curtains were closed. Was sitting on her a bed she was staring at a photo and had a stuffed animal held closely to her chest.

"Hey Velvet." Ruby said entering the room. "We were going to the park and wanted to see if you would come with us." A very low and weak "no" was what we received. Yang then sat down beside her and said "come it's been a week since you left the dorm. Everyone is worried about you."

She just looked at us and said "O-okay." She came with us to the park where we met up with the members of team SSSN. We tried our best to cheer her up but no matter what we did we couldn't even receive a smile from the girl. Weiss even pushed Sun into the lake and she didn't even seemed phased.

We gave up after an hour and I and Ruby walked the girl home. When we got their coco was standing at the door with a huge smile on her face she grabbed Velvet's hand and drug her through the house. I and Ruby followed close behind. We walked up stairs to the room Velvet had been in.

When we got their we saw [Name] standding in the middle of the room.

P.O.V. Change Velvet

I couldn't believe what I was seeing their he was in front of me. I felt water build up in my eyes. "I-is this real?" I asked I had dreams like this ever since I got word about him. I saw him smile and he said "yeah I'm really here." I rushed to him leaving behind a trail of tears. When I reached him I hugged him and squeezed him tightly.

He wrapped one arm around my back and I felt the other on the back of my head. "I'm sorry." He whispered into my ears. "I'm so so so so sorry." I could hear the sadness in his voice. I pulled back leaned up to kiss him.

When our lips did touch I felt his arms move around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck. I was surprised when I felt his tounge lick my lower lip. I hesitated for the moment before I open my mouth letting him enter. However i was surprised to find out he was not as forceful as I thought he may was. When our tounges met each other he didn't fight for dominance he was very submissive to me.

P.O.V. Change [Name]

I was so glad to see Velvet again I felt as if I could die and only have one regret leaving Velvet. I in the middle of our kiss reacting on instinct started to lick her lower lip. When I realized what I was doing I was about to pull away until to my surprise her mouth opened our tounges met in the center. I of course did not fight for dominance I very submissive when it comes to the ones I love.

Our moment was brought to an end when we heard Ruby exclaim. "Awwww how cute. Don't you think so Blake." We separated not taking our eyes off other each other. We were both panting slightly out of breath. I felt a smile creep its way onto my face as she said "I love you [Name]." And pulled her in close for another hug and said "I love you too Velvet."

"So I think we should leave the two love birds alone." I heard coco say as she and the others left the room. She stopped and said "does us a fovor and try to keep it PG13." She shut the door I was about to yell something that was until Velvet tackled me to the bed behind us.

I was needless to say a bit shocked when she kissed me again. When we pulled away for that damn stupid need for oxygen got in the way. We were panting heavily when we pulled away she then came in close and I felt my face go through so many shades I red so fast you'd think I'd gotten whiplash.

What was the cause of this? It was what Velvet whispered into my ears. "You know [Name] most rabbits do mate for life." I couldn't tell weather I should be embarrassed or happy so I decided on both and shamelessly passed out.
