P.O.V. [Name]

I was sound asleep. I was in the middle of a dream where I was ridding a pink cloud and for whatever reason I was trying to catch a golden squirrel.

I awoken to the sound of ringing I on instinct smashed my alarm clock then realized there was still a consistent ringing throughout the room. I looked at the new source of the sound and saw it was in the form of my phone.

I with a groan of displeasure picked it up and saw I had one missed call and one new voice message. I then also noticed that it was 5:35 in the morning. It also then occurred to me that it was Saterday.

'Who in the world could be calling me at this hour?' I played the voice message and this is what I heard.

"Hello [Name] I don't know if this is your number but it's Coco from Velvet's team. Listen [Name] you need to get to the hospital something has happened to Velvet. I seen what's happened and I think you should to it's not pretty though."

At this my eyes widened I dropped my phone got on my coat and ran outside hopped on my motorcycle and headed towards the hospital. I did everything you weren't supposed to do ran stop sighs red lights cut down the middle of traffic. When I got there I ran inside completely forgetting about my bike.

When I got there Coco was there waiting by the elevator and we went in a hit the floor fifty button. Once the door closed we began a conversation without looking at each other.

"How is she?" I asked.

"Not good she's beat up pretty bad. She also isn't very mental stable she's still really jumpy so try to stay calm okay." She stated I could hear the slight sadness in her voice and I knew I had to comply.

"Alright just let me know what room she's in." I said looking at her.

"Room 515" I then stepped out of the elevator and started to walk to Velvet's room.

When I entered her room and I saw how bad of shape she was in I couldn't bring myself to move. Both her eyes had busies under them her eyebrows were swollen to the point to where she couldn't see. the left side of her face was pure purple and her neck had busies that looked like finger marks.

I then examined the rest of her body her left forearm was in a sling and he right hand had a clearly dislocated shoulder. Her stomach was wrapped up with bandages and a small spot of blood coming from the side. Her legs didn't seem to be in to bad of shape but they were still covered in busies.

for the first couple of minutes I felt like just crying which is why I was glad she was asleep. The next thing that hit me was unrelenting rage I'm going to use everything I have to put whoever did this to her in an even worse condition.

I walked in and sat down beside her bed. She didn't wake up until an hour later and when she did she was shaking. I took her hand to try and calm her down and it did seem to work even if it was just a little bit.

"[Name] how long have you been here?" She asked looking at me with a sad expression.

"I've been here for almost an hour. Coco called me and said you were in the hospital so I rushed over as fast as I could." I said in a calm manner giving her a kind smile even if it was hard to smile looking at her in this condition.

We talked the whole day I tried to avoid talking about the incident as much as possible I could tell that this was a subject that she wouldn't want to discuss anytime soon.

I was talking to Velvet until One of the doctors came in. "[Name] I'm afraid that visiting hours are over." He said I let out a sigh and looked at Velvet.

"I promise I'll come and visit you tomorrow." I said as I gently kissed her cheek to be sure I wouldn't hurt her. I was about to leave with the doctor until Velvet spoke up.

"Actually sir is their any way he could stay here tonight?" She asked the doctor.

"Well yes but you two would have to share a bed." He said as he walked out of the room.

I felt my face heat up ever so slightly and faced her. I was going to say something but she beat me to it. "I don't mind if you don't." I felt my face grow even hotter by this statement and nodded slightly.

I moved to the side of her bed and just wanted to be sure she was Okay with this. "Are sure about this? I mean I don't want to do anything that makes you feel unconfutable."

"Please stay. I don't want to be left alone tonight." She said looking at me. I nodded and crawled into bed with her.

I wrapped my arms around her and let her snuggle closer to me I let out a sigh of relief at least this way I could be sure she was safe. I fell asleep with her beside me. I knew for a fact that this was going to be embedded in my memories for the rest of my life.

I awoke beside Velvet to see that she was peacefully asleep. However there was one thing I did not expect to see when I first woke up. This so called thing was not a thing at all it was my father standing at the entrance of the room.

"D-dad." I asked looking at him not to loud so I wouldn't wake Velvet.

"Yeah it's me now we need to talk about something."
