Shoko's body shook in terror and pain, her clothes being ripped piece by piece with more bruises and purple spots made across her body by the man she used to love

"..."

(Y/n) kept up the peace, beating the school girl as her blood stained the floor in the room with blood covered walls

"P-p-pwease s-stohp *cries*"

Her words coming out weird because of the bloody bruise on her cheek, Shoko continued to beg but to no avail, (y/n) continued his assault until someone gripped his rised left arm

"Stop, she had enough"

Satou stared at Shoko who send her a pleading look, guilty swelling up in her chest for letting her suffer like this

"I'll finish this Ojii-san"

"...no, go away Satou"

Pushing her away, Satou nerly lost her balance from the amount of force (y/n) used to push her away

"O-ojii-s-"

"Shut up, and go away... Before i make you"

Sweating a bit , Satou switched glances between her former friend and her uncle, both staring at her with different emotions. Turning back (y/n) decked Shoko two more times before Satou made up her mind...

"OTOU-SAN! PLEASE STOP!"

Stopping mid punch, (y/n) slowly got up walking towards Satou who began to back away in slight fear

"I'll wait in the living room"

He said hugging Satou before leaving the room with surprised Satou and whimpering Shoko who was curled up in a ball

"Shoko"

Satou came up to Shokos trembling body kneeling beside it. Moving her hands out of the way giving Satou a clear view of Shoko's messed up face

"A-s-sah-i""

Shoko mumbled coughing a bit of blood as Satou wiped her tears away, seeing as the girl was already slowly passing away

"I'm sorry you had to go through that, but don't worry. I'll set you free off all this pain now"

Shoko's eyes widened , trying to get up she cried out in pain after putting too much pressure on her broken leg. Satou forced Shoko on her lap before slitting her throat

"Mmgg"

Shoko's weak struggling didn't faze Satou at all as she stroked her hair. Shoko's movements became slower as blood flowed out her neck

"Farewell, Shoko-chan..."

Satou who was now covered in blood pulled out the knife and left the room, closing it behind her. After putting her bloodied uniform in the washing machine, she cleaned the knife before going to the living room to talk with her uncle

"Ojii-san..."

"Ah Satou-chan, we need to talk"

Nodding, Satou made it to the sofa sitting beside her uncle who was unfazed by her lack of clothing

"Our plans have been moved... By a week, which means... We'll have to get out of this city in two days or less"

"Oh... What should we do first?"

"Packing our things, i already called Mizuki to do so. It won't take long so we can go shopping tomorrow"

Satou nodded before turning her head to the hall

"What about the body? And the text..."

"Clean it, and dress it in your school uniform, I'll handle the visible injuries. And don't worry about the text , i have a hunch who it might be... But I'll have to test my theory later"

(Y/n) finished sighing , the worst possible scenario would be that Shoko send the pic to the police... But if the boy got it, he has nothing to worry about

"Anyway, I'm gonna head back to help my girls with the packing. See ya tomorrow Satou... Oh! And have a lovely wedding Satou-chan!"

"Thank you, Ojii-san..."

Shio heard the entrance door close, meaning that (y/n) had left

"Satou-chan?..... Satou-chan... Can i come out now... Satou-chan?"

Upon opening the door, Shio was met with her half naked lover, who kneeled down and hugged her

"It's time we go find a new castle.... 'cos this place is dissolving"

[Local park, several hours earlier]

Asahi sat lonely on a bench waiting for his friend to come

"It's been a while, hasn't it? Are you really leaving?"

Shoko approached Asahi, both staring at each other

"I have a lead, he said he found Shio's necktie... at Y station"

"Who told you that? Was it someone you can trust?"

Asahi tiredly scratched his neck looking aside

"Well, I didn't ask for his name or address... He was just a young guy. He was blond , but... He looked like a decent person"

As Asahi described the boy, Shoko might have an idea who it might have be. She searched her bag for the hairpin she found at work today

"Was he wearing a hairpin? Like this one?"

"Yeah, he was.... You know him?"

"..........."

'The posters in his room... His sick obsession... That description... This situation... It has to be Mitsuboshi... But where in the hell did he get a hold of that necktie?'

Shoko couldn't piece this puzzle together , which worried her that there might be more people involved in this

"Sorry... I'm not sure. But... Maybe you shouldn't go... after all, you can't double check his info"

Even if Shoko tried reason with him, Asahi had his mind set on getting back Shio no matter what, they'll be a happy family...

"Yeah... But I'm still going. Thank you for everything you've done, you're a good person. I am in your debt. I won't forget it"

As Asahi bowed to Shoko, her eyes widened upon his following words

"I don't think we'll see each other after this. I hope you have a good life... Well, I'm off"

As soon as Asahi turned his back to Shoko , she called out to him

"Can't you stop--- and take a break for a second? You're doing everything you can for important to you. But it looks like you're suffering to me. It looks so hard. Make yourself a priority for once, you have to take care of your mind and your body or you'll.... Break."

Shoko stopped for a moment to let Asahi absorb the information before continuing

"You can't live like that... You need something that makes you happy. Isn't there an option where you get to be happy!? No one would blame you if you chose that."

Not giving it a second thought Asahi lashed out at Shoko, he doesn't care about himself, no one matters except Shio and mom.

"..."

Realising his mistake Asahi teared up , his behaviour reminded him of that demon who was recently murdered by Mangler. He apologized to Shoko who smiled saying it's okay while wiping his tears away

"You have a phone, right? Lemme see it"

"Huh? Uh"

"I'm exchanging our info"

"Wai-"

"I'll message you in just a second okay?"

Shoko exchange her contacts with Asahi who received her message in the form of a <3 making him blush slightly, when Shoko gave him the unexpected kiss , they talked for a moment before saying goodbye to each other... Unfortunately for Asahi, this was the last time he saw Shoko alive...

[Town , present time]

After arriving to Y station , Asahi began once again going around the town giving out fliers of his sister, until his phone buzzed

"Hm?"

Pulling his phone out he saw a new message from Shoko... Staring blankly at the picture Asahi looked over at the message left by Shoko

>The condominium back in our town, apartment no. 1208

Dropping the fliers , Asahi darted back to the train station, his determination spiking up

'don't worry Shio-chan!! Onii-chan is coming to get you back home!!!'

"Good girl Satou-chan, good girl..."

Shio repeated patting the curled up girl sleeping on the ground

'I wonder what happened, Ojii-san sounded very angry. And that girll... She probably ran away. Angry Ojii-san must be a scary thing to witness'

Shio shuddered a bit before returning her attention to her lover

"This is the first time Satou-chan's been like this"

A brief flashback of her mom made Shio try to wake Satou up by calling out her name and shaking her shoulder

'satou-chan must be... Tired. I haven't done anything except be protected by her... when this castle of ours... Is for the both of us?'

Shio made up her mind and decided on doing Satou-chan's chores so she could get better

Shio heard the front door open, but she already knew who it was

"Ojii-san! Welcome back!!"

She ran to the front door seeing (y/n) along with a woman she recognised almost immediately

"H-huh?...m-mommy...?"

[Yūna and (y/n) , several minutes earlier]

Sitting on their shared bed while Mizuki was helping Yui pack her toys and clothes in her room, given this opportunity (y/n) didn't want to keep secrets away from Yūna and decided on telling her everything

"S-so you really a-are The M-mangler , (y/n)?"

Yūna was staring at the ground , her hands in her lap as i brought one arm over her shoulder

"Yeah..."

"And y-you killed a lot of p-people"

"Yūna i-"

She shushed me by putting her finger on my lips

"You did it to protect your family, right?"

"I d-did, and you're part of the family now too"

"Then that's all i care about... I love you (y/n)-kun"

"Thank you... I Love you too, Yūna-chan"

Both closed their eyes and closed the distance between their faces sharing a long sweet kiss. With Yūna not wanting to pull out

"Haa~ say, Yūna-chan... What if i told you... I know where Shio is?

"W-what?! Y-you know where she is?!"

Yūna looked shocked at the revelation shaking (y/n)

"Yeah i know where she is, shall we go meet her?"

"Yes! Please!"

Standing up, (y/n) quickly informed that he's going out with Yūna for a bit. Hand in hand they took the elevator , Yūna was slowly getting more anxious by the minute. How will she apologize to her 8 year old daughter she just abandoned for several months?

"I'll help you Yūna-chan, just stay calm , okay?"

"...okay..."

(Y/n) pecked Yūnas forehead lovingly tightening his grip on her hand to reassure her while they left the elevator

"... o-okay, I'm ready!"

"Very well then"

Standing before the door, he took out his keys unlocking the door...
