Nicole's POV

I looked through the window and sat back down on the floor. I continued to cry as memories started flooding in.

FLASHBACK

[Preschool]

I was going to school for the first time. I didn't know anyone.

"Hi! I'm Jonah," a boy with short, brown hair came up to me.

"I'm Nicole," I said.

"Wanna be my friend?" he asked.

"Sure," I said as I smiled.

[Sixth Grade]

I was walking to school when Jonah walked right beside of me.

"Hey you nervous?" Jonah asked. I nodded my head fast. He side hugged me.

"You'll be fine. We'll stick together," he said.

I nodded as we continue to walk.

[Eighth Grade Graduation]

I walked down to get my awards from my teachers and sit back down beside of Jonah.

After I got my awards, Jonah went to go to get his.

TIME SKIP

After awards I walked to class with Jonah even though I wasn't too happy.

"Don't worry. We'll get through high school together. Promise," he said. I nodded.

[First day of High School]

I walked to school. Alone. As expected. Nothing new. Let's just say Jonah doesn't live up to his promises.

I walked in and got my schedule in my hand and walked to my homeroom not looking where I was going. I bumped into somebody.

"Sorry," I said as I got back up. He looked at me.

"No I'm sorry. You look lost. Don't worry I am too," the boy said.

I put my hand out and said "My names Nicole."

"Corbyn," he said as he shook my hand.

We walked to homeroom together and figured out the we have the same classes together.

FLASHBACK OVER

I was bawling my eyes out when I heard another knock. I opened the door.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"What happened?" Jonah asked.

"Boy trouble," I said as I shut the door.

I ran up to my room and studied while crying.

THE NEXT DAY

I walked to school alone. I walked into school to see Corbyn hanging out with Claire. I looked down as I walked to my locker. I got my stuff for History. Someone pushed me down. I looked up and it was Claire and Corbyn. I started to run to History and ran in. I was breathing heavily while Mr. Jackson was looking at me. I sat down with my head down. I felt a tap on my shoulder as I turned around to face Kyle.

"You okay?" he asked.

I shook my head. He wanted to talk to me at lunch so I nodded. I sat there not paying any attention to Mr. Jackson until a new student walked in.

"Class this is Josh. Our new student. Josh you can sit in the seat beside of Nicole," Mr. Jackson said.

I rose my hand to make sure he knew who I was. He came over to where I was and sat beside of me.

"Okay Class you guys can socialize for the rest of this period," Mr. Jackson said.

"Hi I'm Nicole," I said as I turned to him.

"I'm Josh," he said.

"This is Kyle," I said pointing to him, "He's usually mean to me but he's becoming nice I guess."

"I wanna be friends Nicole," He said.

I nodded and looked at the clock. We had fifteen minutes of class left.

"Let me see your schedule," I said to Josh. He handed me his schedule and we had all of our classes together. I reminded me of Corbyn. I handed it back to him smiling.

"We have all of our classes together,"  I said as Corbyn looked at me with sympathy.

I flipped him off in Chinese and mouthed 'Duck off'. He rolled his eyes. Kyle gave Corbyn the death glare and looked back at me.

"Let's all sit together at lunch," I said. They agreed on it and we high fived. The bell rang. Me and Josh walked to 2nd period together.
