Colby's pov

I watched as the ground grew closer and closer to us. The plane had started its decent and the pilot said it should be about ten more minutes before we land. I looked down at Sam and smiled. I gently shook him until I saw his ocean blue eyes flutter open. He looked up at me and his eyes went wide. That blush came back, he looked like the reddest cherry you could possibly get.

Sam's pov

I woke up to see Colby looking down at me. I widened my eyes once I realized I was laying in Colby's lap. I blushed madly. I was sleeping in Colby Brock's lap, for who knows how long! I've liked him as more than a friend for about two years now. I wanted him to be mine, but I know that the fans and everyone in the house would hate us if it ever did happen. I sat up as fast as I could and immediately regretted it. My head started spinning and Colby had to catch me from falling out of the seat.

"This is why you take your time mister clumsy!" He said to me, giggling a bit. My lord he's adorable. I just hate the fact that I have to hide everything. I smiled once I wasn't dizzy anymore and laughed along with him. Elton and Corey poked their heads over their seats to look at us and started laughing along with us. The flight finally landed, Colby clinging to me once again, which I loved, he was so close to me, I felt like he was mine and that was one of the highlights of my day. The plane stopped and we all grabbed our bags and started to get off the plane. Colby looked so excited, not for the new surroundings, but just to get off of what he called the "Metal death trap". I made sure to stay close to him, I know he doesn't like being away from home. I've seen one of his anxiety attacks.. They never end well. Last time he had ended up in the hospital after some of what he thought were friends ditched him in an abandoned mall. He had immediately called me, breathing heavy, only able to whisper 'I don't know where I am.. I don't want to be here... help..'. I tracked his phone down and found him passed out in the corner of the place. I want to keep him safe. We entered the new airport and I could tell Colby was nervous. We all started walking towards the entrance of the building and of course, Colby saw a claw machine.

"Wait!" He screamed. We all stopped and looked at him. He pointed to the machine and Corey grabbed his hand and ran to it. Elton and I looked at each other and just started laughing. We started to walk to them, when I felt a tingling on my arm. I slowed down and lifted my right sleeve. A small mark started to appear on my arm, it looked like a small queen's crown, with an even smaller king's crown below it. I didn't know what to do, so I just left it at that. I lowered my sleeve and caught up with Elton.

"Why did you slow down?" He asked me, looking somewhat confused.

"Something weird happened but it's fine." I replied. He looked determined to find out what was wrong with me.

"Guys! We're running to the bathroom real quick!" Elton screamed to Corey and Colby. They both nodded as I watched Colby win a huge Koala stuffed animal. Elton grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the bathrooms, which were surprisingly empty.

"What happened" He asked, very seriously. I looked down and didn't say a word. I lifted my wrist and showed him the small black marking. He gasped and covered his mouth. He looked me straight in the eyes before screaming a very girlish scream and launching himself at me. He engulfed me in a hug and started jumping.

"What? What is it? I don't even know what it means!" I said.

"You found your soul mate! Who is it?! Tell me everything!" He screamed, obviously excited. I looked at him and shrugged.

"I have no clue, it just appeared when I started walking and that's it!" I said, trying to defend myself. He looked shocked, and slightly confused. He didn't say anything else, just started dragging me out of the cramped bathroom. We started walking back to the other two and I pulled my sleeve back down. We found both of them sitting at a table close to the claw machine, Corey holding a stuffed black dog and Colby holding a stuffed Koala and a stuffed yellow bird.

"Sam! I got this for you!" He screamed and tossed the bird at me. I caught it and immediately put it in my pocket, so its little head was peeking out. We all continued to exit through the glass doors to the airport, out into the crisp air of the newfound sight of New Zealand. Elton lead us down the road to where a large RV was parked. He pulled out a pair of keys out of his pocket and glanced to the vehicle. He unlocked the door and we all piled in. It was amazing, but I could already tell it would be a very cramped trip.

"Okay, there's only two beds and a couch, and since I know we all want beds, rock paper scissors!" Elton screamed. After rapid rock paper scissors, Elton was getting the couch, until he changed the rules.

"Oh, and since I'm driving and because I took you all on this trip, I get one bed to myself!" He exclaimed. Corey, Colby, and I all groaned because that meant one of us was getting the couch and the other two would have to share the bed. We played until the decision was clear. Corey was on the couch, Colby and I were sharing the bed above the drivers seat. I did my best to pretend I was upset about that, but for some reason, Colby looked even more upset once he saw that I 'didn't want to share with him'. Elton put all his stuff on his bed at the end of the RV, Corey did the same on the couch, and both Colby and I climbed up to our bed and set everything up for our trip. Once we were all set up in our home for a month, we all decided to go out to dinner before we did anything else. Me and Colby had voted for a place called "The Grove", but Corey and Elton had voted for a place called "Dragon fired". We ended up going to Dragon Fired because it was cheaper and pizza was always a good first impression. I had thrown on a pair of black skinny jeans and a pastel pink hooded shirt. I caught Colby staring at me when I was changing my shirt and laughed. Corey and Elton were outside the RV waiting for us to be finished so I didn't have to worry about them seeing anything. Colby now had his back to me, changing himself. I jokingly balled up my old shirt and chucked it at him. It hit him straight in the head. He dramatically turned around and gasped.

"Did you just throw that at me?" He asked, already knowing the answer. I giggled and nodded. He charged at me and tackled me to Corey's couch. He started tickling me, getting his 'revenge' on me. I only noticed he was on top of me when he finally stopped. He was straddling my lap hands pinning mine down. I blushed as red as a tomato and he did too. It was like we were in a trance, neither of us could look away. I was staring into a forest of browns and greens, and he was staring into a raging ocean. He suddenly shook his head and quickly got off of me. Throwing a shirt on and rushing out the door to meet up with Corey and Elton. I laid there, dumb founded. What just happened?

I quickly finished getting ready, letting dark thoughts consume my very being. I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't have done anything! He'd be so much better off without me.. I finally walked out of the door, my now gray eyes never meeting anyone else's

Colby's pov

I rushed outside after almost drowning in Sam's eyes. I saw Corey and Elton leaning on the wall of the restaurant and rushed over to them. My wrist was tingling again. I lifted my sleeve slightly and saw that the small queens crown under the kings had a small line on it now. I needed to ask Elton about this now. I'm so confused. I tapped Elton on the shoulder and asked if I could talk to him really quick. Corey had earbuds in and couldn't hear anything I was saying. He nodded. I showed him my wrist.

"Do you know what this is? I just appeared when I was on the plane and now that little line appeared on the smaller one. I'm just confused and I know something similar happened to you, so I thought I would ask you." I said. Elton had widened his eyes and looked like he was about to cry. He nodded and gave me a hug.

"You found your soul mate. But that line means that something happened to them. The bigger mark or the top mark represents you, the smaller or bottom mark represents them. When those marks appear, it means you both are meant to be and should be with each other from then on. You're looking for the queen to your king crown, and I know exactly who. He finished.

"Well who is it?! If they're supposed to be my soul mate then shouldn't I know they exist?" I asked. Elton smirked and crossed his arms. That's when it hit me. It appeared when Sam was on my lap. It felt like a strain when he went with Elton to the bathroom. The line appeared when ran out.. On Sam. He's my soul mate. My best friend since middle school Is my soul mate.

"It's Sam. Isn't it?" I asked. Elton nodded and smiled a huge smile.

"That also means that he's not doing so good right now. That line is a sign of struggle." Elton said. Just as he said that, Sam walked out, looking like a ghost of his happy self.
