Taehyung's POV

I carefully got up, sliding the blanket under Jimin's head upon hearing a light knocking coming from the front door.

I swiftly headed over to the front door and opened it.

"Where's the male who is in need of help?" One of the males asked.

"He's in the bathroom, just there." I stated while pointing to the bathroom.

A man and woman rushed past me into the bathroom.

However there was one more man who stood before me.

"Can you give me a run down on what happened." The male's deeper voice said, before he raised a note pad and pen up in his hands to write.

"Um, well I was in bed relaxing and Jimin was meant to go have a shower," I began.

"Then I heard a thud noise and moved around my apartment because I didn't know what caused the sound. But then I found Jimin passed out, not breathing on the bathroom floor." I explained.

"Alright, and your name is?" He asked me.

"Kim Taehyung." I simply replied which he also wrote down.

"Hey, does he normally wear a nose cannula?" The nurse said, interrupting our conversation.

"No, it's mine." I told the woman.

"How do you have multiple of them?" The male who was asking me what happened asked, gazing over the one that was on my nose.

"Erm, I have Cancer so I just have one and a backup one," I replied.

It's honestly none of their business for why I have nose cannulas.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." The man replied as the women rushed out the door and down the front steps.

I however rolled my eyes at the comment.

Telling someone who is still alive that they are sorry for bad health is focusing on the deficit that I am unwell, rather than the strength that I am fighting my illness.

I always hate when people say it to me.

"What's going on?" I asked when I saw the nurse rushing back up the stairs with what looked like a stretcher.

"We think it's best we take him to the hospital." She replied.

My eyes widened. So he is not in a good condition? But what could've happened?

The nurse then walked past me with the stretcher before putting it down halfway out of the bathroom and halfway in.

The male at the door walked towards the bathroom as well, helping to lift Jimin onto the stretcher while I watched in shock.

My heart sank to see the fading life seeping out of him.

His skin beginning to turn pale like freshly fallen snow.

"What is your relation to Jimin?" The male now asked as the nurse and the other male carried Jimin slowly down the stairs on the stretcher.

My heart pace quickened as I replied, "Erm, he's my partner." I simply replied.

Obviously, Jimin and I have not spoken about such statuses, but after the night we had last night, I need to be there for him.

"Alright, would you like to come to the hospital with us in the ambulance or would you rather find another mode of transport?" The man asked.

"I'll come in the ambulance." I hummed.

I swiftly grabbed a hoodie to put on, and some sandals before I grabbed my set of keys to lock up my front door.

Once the door was locked, I tried to be as fast as I could walking down the stairs by myself but it did take me a minute or two.

I was out of breath just from going down two steps, however Jimin would be proud of me if he saw I walked down the stairs alone.

I needed Jimin's support. I needed him here for me. But now it's my turn to return the favour.

Once I made it to the ambulance, they let me sit down beside him.

There was one person making sure he was breathing, another person making a phone call, and the last person was driving us to the hospital.

My hand reached out for Jimin's, softly intertwining my fingers with his so that he knew I was there.

Jimin seemed calm, but for the first time, I was seeing a reflection of what it must've been like when my parents would rush me out to the hospital in an ambulance, unaware of what was going on.

I am always in Jimin's spot, watching the sky out a small peak in the ambulance windows, or gazing at the ceiling as staff members rush around me.

I felt nervous even just leaving my house, especially knowing that I may have to head home today alone without Jimin's support.

Jimin gives me so much moral support through his True Beauty, I just need his presence always.

Seeing Jimin get lifted out of the ambulance and into the hospital, whisked away from me felt horrible.

My hand was longing for his smaller one to still be hiding inside of it, but now I have to wait.

I spent hours and hours in the waiting room of the hospital waiting area.

I was bored out of my mind but all of the thoughts that lingered in my mind were of Jimin.

My heart however skipped a beat hearing my name being called, my daze disappearing as I stood up, looking at a nurse.

What could they tell me?

Is it good or bad news?

Are they going to tell me anything?

Will I be able to go see Jimin?

Are they going to do a surgery on him?

What is going on with MY Jimin!?

"Jimin would like to see you."

Oop- What do you think!?

Lemme know what you think! Remember to vote and comment if you're liking the book!
