Jimin's POV

"Anyways, I'll let you finish eating your breakfast. Do you want the rest of the donut, or do you want to eat the rest later?" I asked the male as I put the magnet down on the table.

"Erm, maybe later. I am somewhat full from the cereal I ate." Taehyung explained.

"Alright, I'll just move it to the bench and wrap it up properly for you." I told Taehyung, grabbing the white bag that the donut was in before getting up from the dining table.

"I better teach you how to make some savoury snacks so we aren't eating donuts for breakfast again in the future." Taehyung commented from where he was sitting at the dining table.

My lips fell agape as I looked over at the male whose eyes were on me.

"You mean, you're actually keen to do some baking?" I gasped out.

"Maybe." Taehyung cooed while I folded the white donut wrapper over to make sure no bugs could get inside the packet.

"Are you keen to do some baking right now?" I asked the male curiously.

"I guess, probably better to bake now before my willingness to bake goes away again." Taehyung commented honestly.

I walked back over to the table while thinking.

"Um, we can; But we may have a small problem." I told Taehyung who tilted his head to the side curiously.

"Either I go see what your parents have downstairs and you put some money towards the baking supplies we take from them, or we need to go to the grocery store." I told Taehyung, watching closely at his expression.

However his face stayed blank as he processed what I said.

"I cannot believe I am choosing this option... But I don't overly want my parents to know I am willing to bake again because I don't want them to think I am better then what I am. I'd prefer to go to the grocery store." Taehyung told me while nibbling on his lower lip hesitantly.

"Are you sure? You're aware that I'll need you to come inside with me because you were unwell recently and I gotta keep an eye on you." I told Taehyung.

He slowly nodded.

"Yeah, let's just get this over and done with. Just please don't tell my parents that I left our house. I really don't want them to know." Taehyung said while standing up from the dining table.

I clapped my hands together excited to be leaving Taehyung's house again.

Maybe next time we leave his house I could take him to see Hoseok, or maybe even get him to meet Jungkook (my best friend) if we begin dating-

Though he kind of said he likes me but didn't exactly clear up where we stand with one another.

Maybe due to him having cancer he is not keen to start something more complicated.

Though I am working for him the whole time that he is sick, so if he gets better, maybe then he'd consider it.

Taehyung wheeled his oxygen cart past me to grab his car and house keys that were sitting on the bench in a circle marble bowl.

"I don't really think I'll be able to walk everywhere in the grocery store, but I have a wheelchair in my car that we can take." Taehyung informed me.

"That's a good idea. In that case, do you want to switch to your bag rather than your oxygen cart?" I asked Taehyung.

He nodded as he walked back into his bedroom to switch it over.

Taehyung's POV

Jimin and I made it to the supermarket, taking Jimin's car to get there.

We got out of his car and Jimin helped me set up my black wheelchair.

It'd been awhile since I sat in the wheelchair, last time I sat in it, it was at the hospital. I have never been out in public in a wheelchair besides the emergency service.

There was even enough room for Jimin to stick my oxygen backpack onto the back hangers of the wheelchair so that I could hold onto all the items we would buy.

I absolutely hated the stares from people inside the grocery store and tried to look away from individuals who did so.

Thankfully we mostly stayed down one aisle which had all the baking supplies we needed.

I just listed off the items and Jimin wheeled me up and down the aisle as we looked for it.

"Tae, I seriously cannot find a can of coconut water." Jimin complained, now standing in front of my wheel chair as he looked at the shelf.

"Jimin-ah, it's right there." I complained knowing the male was looking right at it, but clearly isn't looking low enough on the shelf.

"I'll get it." I complained after watching Jimin struggling to look for another 10 seconds.

I used my hands to push the wheelchair wheels around to move forward, closer to Jimin, before reaching out to grab the can of coconut water.

Jimin burst out into giggles after realising the item that he was searching for was seriously right in front of him.

"Silly goose." I snickered which only made Jimin laugh more.

I rolled my eyes looking away from the smiley male, only my heart sank seeing the eyes of familiar past school students looking at me.

"Stop laughing so loud." I snapped at Jimin which completely made the male stop in shock.

His eyes fell on mine as he raised his eyebrow confused.

"Your laughing is drawing unwanted attention to us." I hissed, my eyes scanning over the ice cream coolers to former school students that seemed to be gossiping about me.

Jimin's orbs now followed my gaze over to the students as he spoke, "Do you know them?"

"Yeah, I grew up with them. Both were popular students." I remarked as I slouched a bit in the wheelchair, trying to hide the best I could even though I couldn't disappear.

"Stop looking at them." I whined because I know if Jimin is watching them, they will just continue talking shit about me rather than getting bored and leaving.

Jimin then crouched down in front of the wheelchair to be more at my height.

He looked directly into my eyes as he spoke, "Hey, it doesn't matter alright? So many people get sick all around the world and it sucks that no one is normalising that it happens. You've been extremely brave, and I'd like to think that battling your cancer is something for you to be proud of going into the future. Don't be ashamed." Jimin chimed.

"I'm extremely proud of you." The male said, studying my reaction to his words.

He clearly noticed my expression hadn't changed so he took a hold of the hand that was on my knee, rubbing his thumb over the palm of my hand reassuringly.

His touch set off sparks throughout my body, much like fireworks that would brighten up the darkness that loomed.

"You also look mighty hot for a sick person, they are likely just jealous." Jimin murmured.

My lips couldn't help but turn upright to the words that this stunning blonde haired male was saying.

He makes me feel so out of this world happy.

I don't even care what those people are saying about me anymore, I have Jimin by my side now, and this person with pure True Beauty can protect me from everything.
