Jimin's POV

"Taehyung-ah! I'm done cooking!" I called out.

I'd been cooking for maybe forty-five minutes.

Taehyung has not bothered me the entire time and I presume it's because he has really low energy.

I draped a tea towel around my neck and shoulders to cover some of my bare chest because I actually felt a little nervous exposing my body around Taehyung, or just around anyone.

As I scooped some soup out of a pot into two plates, I heard Taehyung's bedroom door click.

The male walked out in the same pyjamas he wore before with his oxygen cart wheeling behind him.

"Here." I heard Taehyung say, making me gaze over at him once he stood beside me.

My eyes landed on some fabric that he held in his hand.

I let go of the soup ladle to grab what he held out to me.

I moved the fabric around in my smaller hands as Taehyung took one of the free plates to take over to the dining table.

My lips parted seeing the fabric turned out to be a t-shirt.

"I thought you may catch a cold." Taehyung commented, making me look in his direction where he now sat at the dining table in his usual seat.

"Thank you." I said gratefully as I pulled off the tea towel that was around my neck to put on the oversized white T-shirt that was clearly Taehyung's due to the size and the way it fell on my body.

I then grabbed my plate, walking over to the dining table to sit opposite Taehyung to eat as well.

After Taehyung took another mouthful he spoke up, "What's with the needle pricks on your arm?" Taehyung asked me, making me look up at him.

"Mostly from blood tests." I replied back while twisting the spoon in the soup.

"You donate blood?" Taehyung asked me.

"Mhm, sometimes," I hummed.

"From working in the hospital field, it does become quite noticeable that there are certain blood types that we are just not getting donations for. I guess you can say I do my bit to give back to the industry." I told Taehyung who nodded.

"You are seriously the most humblest person I think I've ever met." Taehyung remarked as I scooped up some soup to eat.

I softly smiled at the male, "Thanks. Life isn't always perfect so I do my best." I hummed.

"Well your best is inspiring." Taehyung replied now looking down at his food.

Me? Inspiring Taehyung? Could I actually be affecting his life in such a way.

"This is off topic," I began, changing the topic to something more light-hearted.

"I thought I could go to the supermarket tomorrow morning and buy some baking supplies. I thought maybe we could do some baking together." I hummed.

"No." Taehyung was quick to shoot back.

I sighed tilting my head to the left side as I looked at the man.

"I predicted you'd say that but I am still going to buy the items," I began.

"If I can get you to do random basic stretches when you feel up to it, and get you to go sit outside on a nice day; Surely I can get you to enjoy your old hobbies again." I stated.

Taehyung just stayed silent.

"Jimin-ah, I know you mean well but I have been running out of energy this afternoon. It is really putting my mood down so I just feel like I am not fit to do any cooking." He stated after some moments of silence.

"But I'll be here to help you." I stated.

"Yeah I know, but I kind of don't want your help 24/7 Jimin. I understand that's your job, but I want to be capable of doing things myself. So you can do some baking by yourself." Taehyung stated.

"But-" I began but Taehyung cut me off as he stood up.

"No but's Jimin, no means fucking no." Taehyung growled from where he stood, only his eyes didn't dare meet mine.

"Tae." I softly cooed as the male started to walk away from the dining table.

"Leave me alone." Was all I heard the male grumble as he continued walking away from me.

"Tae, you need to eat." I replied back as I watched the brunette head walk between the door frame to enter his bedroom.

"I'll eat later when you've left, I've lost my appetite." Taehyung stated before quickly closing his bedroom door.

I sighed and my body slightly flinching to the sound of his bedroom door clicking closed.

Is it too soon? Am I pushing Taehyung too much?

I feel like all my hard work getting closer to Taehyung seemed to be all for nothing because I seem to have ruined the connection that I built up with the male.

I kind of don't even care if we don't do baking tomorrow, I'm just slightly offended that instead of him changing the subject, that he was that willing to ignore my existence and remove me.

Maybe I am getting too attached to Taehyung... Because he is right, after all, I do work for him.

But I guess it is just revealing deep down the level of care I have established for him from working with him almost every day of the week.

It also has shown me that I do feel more for Taehyung than I realised.

But would he feel the same or be completely confused? And do I just happen to feel this way because I'm around him every minute of the day?

I sacrificed sleep to come to work earlier to see him though so my heart truly is attached to the male.

His true beauty is shining through and my heart cannot help but fall for the man that I see daily.

Hello everyone! Sorry for taking so long to update this book. I've been quite sick and am mentally not in the best place this year but I'm doing the best I can. This book does cover quite distressing themes due to sickness and depression etc so I have found that I really need to be in a mentally stable position to write this book effectively. Therefore, there may be times that I struggle to write it quickly.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! If you did, give it a vote! I am really excited for plans for the next chapter! What do you think of this chapter though? I've hidden in some secret messages that I am not sure whether you guys will pick up on but it will all become clearer soon what hints I am giving haha. I love foreshadowing!

Anyways, I hope you all are taking care my lovelies! Until next chapter, byeeeee!
