Taehyung's POV

I awoke to the most stunning sight.

The gorgeous man was still asleep in my arms, his long eyelashes pressed closed against his milky paler skin.

His blonde hair was pushed right up against my chin, the odd strand brushing against my lip as I peered down at the male.

Once Jimin woke up, he checked how I was feeling, and not long after, I left the male to have a shower.

I instantly missed his body warmth, but I made do with the bundle of blankets.

Jimin also gave me his blanket that he ended up not using last night in replacement for his body warmth.

"How are you feeling?" I heard my mother's voice ask before the women appeared in my bedroom.

"Tired. And a bit cold." I mumbled.

"Where's Jimin?" She asked, turning around in the door frame to look for the missing man throughout my suite.

"He's taking a shower." I said through a yawn as I sat up with my bundle of blankets.

"Aish, he should have called one of us up if he was going to shower. Imagine if something happened to you." My mother grumbled as she turned back to face me.

I sighed, "Relax, I am fine. And besides, Jimin likely isn't going to take a long shower, and he'll likely be quicker knowing I'm unwell." I stated.

"Still, he told us he was going to assess your health in the morning in case you need extra help." She stammered.

"I let him shower. And he can still do that after he showers. But I swear, I am fine." I whined.

She pouted with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Bloody young staff, I had a feeling he wouldn't be reliable." She muttered quietly.

"Oh, get the fuck out." I grumbled, making her raise her eyebrow.

"You heard me, get the fuck out. Don't come in here with that negative attitude and talk shit about him." I growled.

"I'm not going anywhere until I know you are healthy." She replied.

"Healthy!? I have a fucking chronic illness. I won't be healthy for months. Ugh, just get out!" I shouted now feeling extremely irritated.

The women in the doorway didn't leave.

This made me grab my pillow that was behind my back to throw at the woman.

Only I watched as an arm brushed past in front of my mother to stop it from hitting her.

I sighed seeing Jimin in the doorway, his hair still wet which made him look completely different to normal.

If only he heard the way she spoke about him, then he wouldn't have protected her.

"Yikes, calm down." I heard Jimin gasp.

"Jimin, I want her to leave." I snickered as Jimin picked up the pillow on the floor.

"Yeah, but she cares about you which is why she is here. She's here out of love, not to hurt you." Jimin piped up while putting the pillow down on my bed.

I rolled my eyes while crossing my arms across my chest as Jimin made his way over to my side of the bed.

"I think it's best that you leave us alone while I'm doing the check up for Taehyung, I can come tell you how he is when I'm done." I informed Taehyung's mother.

She sighed, clearly knowing I was saying it so that Taehyung would get his way but she left after some reluctance.

"She deserved to be hit by the fucking pillow." I growled, the moment I heard the front door click closed.

"Tae, she is still your mother, even if you disagree with what she says to you." Jimin hummed, sitting down on the edge of the bed, his bum slightly rubbing up against my leg covered in bedsheets.

"She talked shit about you, it's not like I wasn't gonna get shitty with her for doing that." I commented.

Jimin sighed, "I know, I heard what she said." He commented, making my eyebrows furrow.

"Then why did you take her side?" I snapped.

Does Jimin not value our friendship? Does he have more of a connection with my parents that I wasn't aware of?

"Because your parents hired me and they pay me. And I don't ideally wanna lose this job because I have a feeling if I did, they would be reluctant to let me see you again if I acted like an ass." Jimin replied.

"You like this job?" I asked, surprised by Jimin's confession.

"Of course I do, I would've quit if I didn't." Jimin replied simply while running his small dainty hands through his blonde hair that flopped back down again on his forehead.

"I didn't think you'd enjoy working here honestly." I mumbled.

"Why is that?" Jimin asked, his lips falling slightly agape in shock.

"Maybe because I'm too sexy, you may not be able to handle me." I teased.

Jimin snickered while looking away from me.

I chuckled, "Nah, more so because everyone else quit working here quite quickly. But you have not quit." I replied.

"If I quit, that's not exactly going to give you any hope." Jimin replied, his eyes landing back on mine again.

"Plus I do like you as a person. I would like to see you personally get better." Jimin softly hummed.

I couldn't help but feel butterflies spreading throughout my chest.

The way his light voice says such sweet stuff really gets to me.

He's very good at opening up his own personal feelings towards me and inspiring me to want to get better.

I watched Jimin's lips curve upwards as his eyes scanned over my face.

"Are you blushing!?" Jimin gushed making my lips fall agape as I raised one of my hands to my face.

Sure enough, my cheek felt hot.

"Ah, shut up," I whined.

"Too much sweet stuff." I continued to excuse myself.

"If you say so." Jimin chimed with a small smirk appearing on his lips.

I licked my lips at the sight of his expression but was quick to change the subject to calm down the beat of my heart that was still increasing with the male's closeness.

The spark in his eye was so enticing, yet I am not well enough to explore such feelings towards the male.

"You better do the check up before my mother comes back or she won't be pleased."

And with that, Jimin began to focus on giving me a check up.

Only I focused on the True Beauty that was inches from me...

Hello everyone! What do you think of the new cover & banner! I have a small issue with the fact it says Kim Taehyung fan fiction and not Vmin but I have requested the fix. I think Lil_y001 did absolutely amazing to make the cover tho! It is beautiful! Would highly recommend ordering from their store. The wait for the cover & banner is extremely long though so if you want a cover fast, wouldn't recommend. But if you want a beautiful cover that's a great quality, definitely recommend!

I'm also now on holidays which is epic! I hope to do more writing! What do you think of this chapter? It's kind of a mid chapter however Taehyung revealed a protective side around Jimin, and Jimin showed dedication to being there to work with Taehyung, and out of personal care and hope that Taehyung heals.
