Truck-San Strikes Again! Volume 2 Chapter 5: We have to fight that?!?!?!

We are just blitzing through the Labyrinth now. Originally we went slow because it might of been dangerous but now we are just trying to get to the lower levels as fast as we can, these monsters are weak.

But, I'm barely doing any work, in fact, I'm just walking around with a blindfold on trying to use only my other senses while following the others. Why am I trying to get used to being blind? Well....mine as well use a flashback!

[Earlier, Before Entering the Dungeon]

It was about 4 days after Wes the slime turned into Nora the maid, and she has some surprising abilities. One is that she still has her slime tentacles, about 6-8 large ones that can be used to beat things down, these one are mainly for strength and it's akin to some one punching you really hard when these are used.

Then, she can split each one of these tentacles into seven smaller ones. These ones seem to be a lot more durable but not as strong. These are mainly for restraining, very useful for bosses, these were also used to restrain the dragon I fought a while ago.

Also apparently she can switch between a human like body and a slime body that looks like a clear, slime version of her human self. In her slime body state, she is immune to physical attacks but magic attacks do more damage, especially fire magic. But in slime body form, she can use way more tentacles.

Last but not least, it seems that Nora can create slime blades that while they have no defense, they are extremely sharp. Basically, Nora is an all speed and damage type with very little defense but makes up for that with her ability to restrain her enemies.

"Master~. Wake up!" (Nora)
"I'm already up, stop shaking me." (Arthur)

But to me, she acts like a little girl trying to play maid. It's cute most of the time but a little annoying here and there. And not only is she a child-like maid, she is also a innocent battle maid. Truly a deadly combo.

"Arthur! Get your lazy butt up! We got to go to the 50th floor today!" (Caroline)
"Will you give me a minute! I stayed up late last night!" (Arthur)

It's true, I stayed up last night reading about this world, trying to figure out where I want to go next, what kind of laws this world has, and other such things. Reason? So I'm not ignorant of this world anymore. Can't have people being suspicious of me for not knowing common knowledge.

Picking up a book, I started heading down stairs with Nora trailing me.

"Good morning everyone, how are you all doing?" (Arthur)
"Good Morning~!" (Nora)
"Ah! Your up. Took you long enough." (Sophiana)
"Yeah, what were you doing last night, fantasizing?" (Elli)
"I was reading thank you very much. Had to look up some stuff." (Arthur)
"What stuff?" (Elli)
"My private business is not yours, so I will not say." (Arthur)

We sat down and began to eat, I started reading the book I brung down earlier while eating. Yeah, yeah I know, it's bad manners, but hey, it's always been a habit of mine to read when the other thing I'm doing doesn't require my eye sight. That means eating food, listening to music, listening to teachers' lectures, chores, and just when ever when I'm relaxing. Can't exactly call me studious since I read manga and fantasy novels all the time, but I don't think you can find one other student in the world that read more than me, not even my twin sibling could beat me, my sibling actually had a life....

"Arthur, where you listening? It's important!" (Elli)
"Ah sorry, what were you talking about?" (Arthur)
"About the 50th floor boss, our goal for today. It's especially important that you listen to this." (Sophiana)
"Eh? Why?" (Arthur)
"Because well.....the boss's ability is....." (Alyssa)

Um hello? Why are all your faces, except Caroline and Nora, red? What's this boss like. And why are you smiling sadistically Sophiana?

"Is?" (Arthur)
"The boss....can..." (Elli)
"-Make men go into a hormonal frenzy when they look at her!" (Sophiana)
".....Eh?" (Arthur)

Wait wait wait.....hormonal frenzy? So if I look at the boss, I will start assaulting the girls in my party?

"Wait, but people say the 50th floor boss is not too strong, wouldn't it be dangerous, it sounds freaking dangerous." (Arthur)
"Yeah, it's not dangerous, if you are a one gender party. The bosses special ability won't work if it's a party of one gender, we are the strange ones." (Caroline)

"Why does it feel like a harem problem?" (Arthur [whispering])
"What was that master? Hair-em?" (Nora)
"Eh? Ah nothing, I didn't say nothing!" (Arthur)

I looked at the other girls but it looks like they didn't hear me.....am I somehow lucky, I thought for sure I would get divine punishment, or someone would say "Die twice!"....

"So we came up with a plan." (Sophiana)
"What?" (Arthur)
"Since the bosses ability requires the sight of the user to take full effect, you have to wear a blindfold. It actually can activate through your other senses but....we can't cover anymore without making you useless. So....resist any temptation." (Elli)
"Even the one to complain about this world?" (Arthur)
""......"" (Others)

Yeah I admit it was bad but so what. Wait, who am I trying to prove my self to? (AN: Mabel's imaginary friend, duh). Well what ever, I can wear a blind fold.

And that's the end of the flash back. Seriously I can't believe I have to fight the enemy of all men, devourer of lust, makes me wanna call the angel who reincarnated me to divinely smite her, yes we have to fight that.

A Succubus, the first actual demon I will face.
