Truck-San Strikes Again! Chapter 13: The Trio Returns!

   It was two days after I made the {Capture Crystal} and decided that it must be because I have a Royal Slime as a contracted beast, so I just decided to leave it at that since thinking about it makes my head hurt. I am currently eating breakfast at the Inn I stay at mulling over what I should do next. Wes doesn't have to stay connected to me anymore so I stored it in the {Capture Crystal} which supposedly is actually really comfortable him.

   Lilly saw me about to walk out and she quickly grabbed a hold of me, once again not letting me go until I say "I'm off big sis!", which I don't want to ever say.....again. Seriously, why does this brunette have such a fascination with me? I quickly used [Speed Enhancement] and freed my self of her grasp as I could. Once I was out of the Inn, I decided to get another quest.

   I was about halfway to the guild when I heard some commotion coming from a street nearby. When I walked over their, I saw large amount of people cheering while surrounding a chariot. I didn't know who was in the chariot, but it was really fancy looking. Probably a beloved noble or royalty. Manga knowledge, on the other hand, says that this is some sort of flag. I then heard a loud shout from the droid that said "WE LOVE YOU PRINCESS!!!", yep, totally a flag of some sort. Maybe it will be a good one.

   When I finally obtained a spot where I could see the princess chariot, I knew why my manga senses were tingling, it's them. The first people I ever met, those girls. Well, I only say two of them but still, I am very surprised. Driving the chariot was the warrior girl who looked much better than when I first saw her. Then in the chariot was the priestess and one other beauty which with the process of elimination, I believe she is the thief. I'm not that much of an idiot to where I can't see what's going on here, no wonder they disappeared so fast.

What to do, what to do? Well for now I could just call out to them, I mean it couldn't hurt me right?

"Princess, your wonderful as always!" Which is what I shouted trying to get at least one of them to notice me. I just want to mess with them a little. Lucky me, the knight girl seemed to notice me and surprise was written all over her face. She then sent a glare at me and I used [Camouflage] immediately, but she seemed to know I was still there. So I walked away, unnoticed by the crowd and back to the guild.

   I picked up a request to subjugate so wolves in the forest and as I was heading out I bumped into someone,

   "Ah, sorry!" The person said
   "No it's my fault, no need to..." I was saying but when I looked up, it was the trio and the one I bumped into was the priestess. They were all slightly disguised except the princess/thief who had a mask and a hood on to where you can't see her face at all. We stared at each other for a second and the knight immediately grabbed me while saying "you need to come with us" quietly so that only I could hear.

   I was honestly surprised, I thought I was going to get yelled at and then have a the knight girl coming at me with her sword or maybe being taken to an ally and being stabbed in the back since they thought I was a demon. But instead I was dragged to a fancy looking mansion. The guards at the gate let us in and I was still being dragged in. I could break out anytime but.....my manga senses are telling me to see this through. Don't fail me now manga senses! But I am very curious so I will not go quietly.

   "Sooooo....where we going?"
   "Isn't it obvious, this mansion." The knight answered. It is obvious but the path from the gate to the house is long.
   "Yeah, but why?"
   "You will see in a second." The thief/princess answered.
    "You know....I'm not the type of guy that likes being dragged around without knowing what's going on. So tell me princess, why are you guys bringing me here?"

   Their eyes widened a little when I called out the princess but kept their silence all the way up to the house. I'm happy that the trio returned but....why are they bringing me here. My manga senses are trying to tell me something but I'm not trained enough to hear it!
Hopefully it's a good flag and not a bad one.

Authors note-sorry for the really short chapter but I'm falling asleep right now because I stayed up really late and woke up really early yesterday. So I have been exhausted all day. Tomorrow will have a longer chapter. Last thing, 7 chapters till my next book! Yay! Good night (for me anyways).
