Chapter three

I grumbled as I slammed my fist against my loud alarm clock. I stomped out of bed and got dressed. I mumbled curses and swears under my breath as I left my house. I guess you could say I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I grabbed my bag and slammed the door as I left for school. Today I really didn't want to deal with people. I just want this day to end quickly. As I was making a right turn on the sidewalk, I was suddenly jumped onto. I fell hard to the ground and ended up hitting my head on the concrete. My vision was blurry. All I could make out was bright red hair and then I blacked out. I could hear small noises. I heard what seems to be an alarm or a siren. I heard muffled yells. After awhile I was finally able to open my eyes. I was in some sort of white room. It smelled of cleaning products. I noticed I was lying in a medical bed. Where was I? Was I in a hospital? Why am I in a hospital? What happened? Why dies my head hurt so much? There was a small knock on the door. A doctor walked in and smiled.

"Oh so you're finally awake. I'm doctor Linski, if you don't know yet you're in the hospital because you hit your head and went unconscious. Your guardian didn't pick up so this young lady said she would stay here with you." The doctor said pointing to the other side of the room where Sarah was sleeping in a chair. I didn't notice her there when I woke up. Why did she bother staying? I told her I didn't want to be her friend so why? She missed school for this?! That idiot. I nodded my head and the doctor left. I got up and poked her. She didn't move. I poked her angling but harder than the first. Finally her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me.

"Oh you're awake." She yawned.

"What are you doing here?" I asked annoyed

"I stayed here until you at least gotten up."

"No, why are you here?! Why aren't you at school?!" I yelled.

"Well...I might've been the reason you were sent to the hospital..." She whispered, "and because you're my friend!"

Wait so she's the reason I'm here. What did she do? Throw a rock at me? Whatever I don't care anymore. I'm not injured to badly so I'll go back to school soon. I need to graduate in order to full fill my mothers dream and find my father. I swear when I meet him, I'm going to teach him a lesson for leaving my mother all alone. I clenched my fist in anger as I remembered all the nights my mother cried at night because of his departure. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see Sarah with sympathy in her eyes.

"What? What are you looking at?" I asked aggressively.

"I just noticed you were getting a little angry. Did I make you mad?" She asked

"No, I'm...I'm just remembering my father that's all." I in clenched my fist and sat on my hospital bed. I need to work on calming my anger. My anger and hate against my father will take an advantage of me later in life if I don't calm down.
