It's been a week since Felix and I had our first encounter with James, Sirius, Remus and Peter. I think it's safe to say that the six of us are best friends, we hang out all the time, during class, after and in between class's.

We were sat in the library, Remus and Peter doing some homework while Sirius, James,Felix and I were all mucking around.

Remus looked over at James and I, "Are you two playing noughts and crosses on your homework?" He asked.

 I looked down at the pice of parchment James and I had been doodling on for the past half an hour, "Oh, so we are." I answered, drawing a cross on the parchment causing me to win the game.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms up in the air. Glares came from the studying students around us, "Ops, sorry." I whispered as the boys laughed.

"Guys, I'm so board." Sirius whined, Remus sighed, "Why don't you do your homework then?"

Sirius looked shocked, "I am offended that you could even consider the thought of me doing homework!" He exclaimed, earning a glare from Madam Pince.

"Why don't we do a group prank." I suggested, Felix and Sirius nodded excitedly, "That's a good idea, our first prank together as friends." James said, thoughtfully as Remus shock his head chuckling. 

"Oh come on Remus, you've got to do it with us!" I whisper yelled, Peter looked up, "I'll do it." He whispered excitedly.

"See, even Pettigrew's doing it." James added, I nodded, "Yea, we've been in here for like two hours and its almost supper time anyway." Felix said, while James, Sirius, Peter and I all nodded in agreement.

Remus sighed, "Fine, but on one condition, you all do your homework." We all groan, I slump back in my seat.

"Okay, if we do our homework will you pull the prank with us?" Sirius asked, arms crossed over his chest, Remus nodded.

"Can we pull the prank first and then do our homework later?" I asked, looking up from the table.

"Fine, but if you don't do it, you'll be in a whole world of pain." Remus threatened, as he stared to put away his school books.

"Jeez, Remus, your worse then my mum." I grumbled, the others chuckled. 

"Well I try." He rolled his eyes, I laughed.

"Okay guys, what's the plan?" James asked, looking around the table to see if anyone had any ideas. I looked over at Felix, who nodded.

"This." I said, pulling out a black, slightly tattered note book and placed it on the table in front of everyone.

"What is that?" Sirius asked, looking down at the book, "It's a book Sirius." I answered, rolling my eyes.

"I know what it is, I meant what's inside it?" He said, poking it with a quill.

"Why don't you look inside then?" Felix asked, an eyebrow raised.

Sirius picked up the book cautiously and opened the first couple of pages, "Wow." He whispered.

"What is it?" Peter asked, craning his neck to get a better look at what's inside.

"It's a prank book." Sirius replied, eyes still glued on the book.

"It's our prank book." Felix and I said in sync.

 "Every prank we have ever thought of." I said.

"Since we were able to pull them." Felix added.

"All placed inside that book." We finished together.

"You know it's kinda creepy when you two do that." Peter said, looking at Felix and I, we grinned, "Sorry." We said, in sync, Peter shuddered.

"Anyway, does this mean we can use it to?" James asked, looking up at me, I shrugged, "I don't see why not." I answered, looking over at Felix, "Fine by me." He said.

"Okay, so after every prank, we write it in here." Remus said, taking the book, "And if one of us has an idea we write it down." Sirius added.

"You two are geniuses." James said, still looking through the book, I laughed, "Oh stop it." I joked.

"Now lets plan this prank." Felix said, clapping his hands together.

"Is everything in place?" Sirius asked, from the other end of the corridor, I checked the bucket. 

"Yeah." I called back.

He nodded and went back to looking out to see if anyone was coming down the corridor, "Remus are you sure that this charm will work?" James asked, Remus nodded, "Almost one hundred percent positive that it will work." 

"Good, now all we do is wait for Sirius's-" Felix started, be was cut off by Sirius, frantically waving at us, edging his way carefully around the prank and towards us, "Signal." felix finished.

"Someone's coming." Sirius whispered.

We all hid behind the corner and took turns looking around it. Just as I looked, two Slytherin boys walked around the corner, one of whom I recognised.

"Hey James, isn't that the Slytherin the paintbomb exploded over?" I whispered, James looked round the corner as well. 

"Oh yea, poor chap. He's about to get covered in more paint." He answered.

The six of us were all trying to look round the corner as the two Slytherins walk right into our trap. As they reached the middle of the corridor three buckets of pink paint pored down on them.

Due to all of us trying to see the prank, Sirius accidentally fell over, one of the boys looked up and saw him.

"Okay time to go." I said, and sprinted off. Felix, James, Remus and Peter all followed laughing.

"Guys!" Sirius shouted after us, "Oi! Get back here!" Another voice shouted, we all laughed as we ran towards the great hall.

They five of us all sat down at the Gryffindor table and started to eat, "That was really fun!" Peter exclaimed, I laughed.

"Yea, it was fun." James agreed, Remus nodded, "We should do that more often." Felix added, to which we all nodded in agreement.

After about fifteen minutes Sirius showed up, "Well it's nice of you to join us." I greeted him, the others laughed.

"Haha very funny. It turns out that one of those Slytherin boys was a prefect! I've got detention for the next week!" He exclaimed, the rest of us burst out laughing at this.

Sirius crossed his arms over his chest and sat down on the opposite side of the table from me, next to James who had Peter on his left.

"Awe, is poor little Sirius upset." James said in a baby voice, pinching Sirius's cheeks, Sirius swatted his hand away, "Shut up." He whined.

Once we had finished eating we all went back to the common room, "Now it's time for you guys to do your homework." Remus said as we entered the common room.

I groaned and slumped down onto one of the sofas, James sat on my right and Felix on my left. Sirius sat in an armchair opposite Remus who was also sitting in an armchair while Peter pulled up a chair and sat next to Remus.

"Sucks to be you guys, I've already done my homework." Peter laughed, I shot him a glare as I pulled out my homework sheet.

I was stuck on question eight so I looked over at James's work to see that he was just writing down the answer for that question. 

"Are you copying my answers?" James asked, I gasped in mock shock, "Me, copy someone else's answered? Never!" I exclaimed, Sirius chuckled. 

I quickly glanced at his sheet then started to write on mine, "See you are copying!" James exclaimed.

"Prove it." I replied, not looking up from my sheet, James grumbled a response. 

"I'm finished." Sirius announced, putting his work on the table. James snatched the sheet of the table and started writing down Sirius's answers.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said, looking up from my work, James raised an eyebrow, "And why not?" He asked.

I took the sheet out of his hands and cleared my throat.

"Question seven." I read aloud.

"What happens when you add knot grass and hazel leaves to a concoction of thistle roots and newt eyes? Sirius's answer is, and I quote, 'boom boom'." I said, James, Felix, Peter and Remus laughed.

"Hey, I'm not the best at potions and I'm pretty sure that's what happens." Sirius shrugged, I rolled my eyes.

After another hour of joking around and homework we decided to go to bed.

The next day went by quickly, before I knew it, it was time for lunch. The six of us were walking down the corridor towards the great hall when someone tripped Remus so that he was sprawled on the floor.    

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you there." A snarky voice said, I looked over to see a boy with bleach blonde hair.

I rolled my eyes, "Obviously you did, you just were to busy being an idiot." 

The boy turned to me, "And who do you think you are?" He spat.

"I'm Elliot Blackwood, and quite frankly it's considered rude to trip people up but I guess you wouldn't know that judging by how big headed you are." I shot back.

"Whatever, just keep scum like him away from me." The boy smirked, I clenched my fists.

"Don't you dare call him scum. If anyone is considered scum around here it's you." I replied.

"How dare you! Do you know who I am?" The blonde boy almost yelled.

"Should I?" I rolled my eyes.

"I'm Lucias Malfoy." He said, raising himself a little higher as he spoke.

"I don't care who you are love, just stay away from my friends. And if I catch you being rude to them again you will be in a lot of trouble." I glared at him, then walked down the corridor.

The boys caught up to me, "Wow Elliot, that was amazing!" James exclaimed, Sirius laughed.

"Yeah, you should have seen his face when he left." Sirius added, I chuckled.

"Thanks Elliot, I really appreciate it." Remus said, smiling at me. 

"That's okay, not going to lie, that felt pretty good." I laughed, Felix grinned.

"Felt good? I looked good." James said, jumping up and down.

"Well it looks like he won't be bothering us for a while." Peter joked. 

The rest of the day was spent laughing and joking around about all the pranks we could pull on Malfoy and his friends.
