Vineet comes home only to find Ruhana at home. He asks about Samrat and Ruhana tells him that he will be back by dinner. Vineet smiles, maybe, he can talk to her now, in Samrat's absence. He should apologise to her.

He moves into his room to freshen up while she gets coffee for him. As she keeps the coffee mug on the table and begins to leave, Vineet holds her hands.

"Vineet, leave me! Mujhe khana banana hai!" she says.

"Par, mujhe tumse baat karni hai." he says.

"Kyun? Mere Paas time nahi hain. Roz jab main baat karna chahti hoon, tumhe kaam hota hain na, aaj mujhe bhi kaam hai." Ruhana replies sternly and frees her hand from his grip.

"Ruhana, I know I have hurt you. I am sorry about that. But, I promise, ab se aisa kuch nahi hoga!" He says, his head hung down.

"Really, Vineet? Do you mean your words?" she looks at him.

An apology coming from Vineet is surprising for Ruhana, since he has never paid heed to her. He has never expressed his love, but since Ruhana is busy with Samrat, he's feeling anger building inside him - - or precisely, jealousy. Because his wife is happy with her best friend. It somehow makes him feel that there is Some distance - - and yes, he is the one who has created it. His trance is broken by Ruhana.

"I am asking something! Do you really mean your apology? Have you realised what you have been doing to me?" she asks, her voice is doubtful.

"Yes!" he replies briefly as he has got nothing to say. He knows he's at fault.

As per Ruhana, it's hard for her to believe that the man who has never asked about her day, or asked about her work, he's suddenly apologising. But, the question is, will be true to his words?? How can she believe him? Because he has never got time to listen to her or talk to her, and now, suddenly he wants to talk to her, her absence around him is pinching him. Ruhana looks at him as he breaks his silence.

"I promise I won't repeat the mistake." he says.

"We'll see to it, Vineet. Kyunki tum ek din mein badal nahi sakte. Aaj tak toh tumne mere pas baith ke mujhse ye nahi pucha ki mera din kaisa guzra ya mujhe koi problem hai ya nahi? As a husband, it's your duty to take care of your wife, but I am the only one serving you.  Tumhari ek sorry se mere Zakhm nahi bharenge vineet. Kyunki tumne pati hone ka toh koi farz nibhaya nahi. But, if you're really guilty, you have to prove it. "Saying so, she leaves the room, leaving Vineet thoughtful.

She's right. He has never asked about her day, her day at work, and if she is facing any problems. Whenever she calls him to ask him about his home arrival, he either cuts her call or just tells her that he will be home soon. He never paid heed that she might have some work, which she wanted him to do. Maybe, it would have saved time for her as well. But, Vineet never heard her. Also, at home, he has his files and newspapers to deal with, he never looked at her or heard her. Maybe, she wanted him to help release her pain. He never asked about it.

Vineet sighs. He has made it a mess, truly. Though, it has been only three months of their wedding - - but it is all messed up. They are married - - but they have not shown love to each other - - especially him. He sighs deeply. He knows he has made a grave situation - and he has to make it fine as well.

Ruhana rushes into the kitchen. Vineet's voice is echoing in her ears. Suddenly, he wanted to talk. When she used to initiate, he'd simply ignore her. These are the perks of being Vineet's wife. But, now, he wants her attention. His sudden words brought tears in her eyes. Just because, she's happy with Samrat, he's unhappy with the same. Ruhana sighs deeply.

Her trance is broken by the doorbell ring. It must be Samrat. She rubs off his tears and moves out of the kitchen to open the door. At the same time, she finds Vineet approaching the door. She moves back into the kitchen, when Samrat's cheerful voice startled her.

She turns around and he lifts her in his arms, twirling her around. She giggles.

"Kya hua? Itni khushi kis baat ki??" she asks as he sets her on the floor.

"Khushi ki toh baat hain, Senorita! My project is approved, and secondly, I've finalised a flat." he says.

"Mujhse bina puche! Very bad Sammie!" she slaps his arm.

Samrat giggles. He sidehugs her, and tells her that he has seen a flat, but he wants her to check it and she has to give time to him. Also, he added that he has to finalise the flat by tomorrow. Ruhana chuckles. She has no big work, and her manager would manage the boutique. She agrees to go with Samrat.

As the two friends plan their day out, Vineet is watching them. His wife is happy with her best friend and he is left with nothing. Meanwhile, Samrat declares their plans to Vineet, and whispers something in Vineet's ears, at which he feels raged, but at the same time, he can't do anything with it.
