Cath's P.O.V

"Ahh!" I woke up to my alarm clock blaring it's stupid and annoying sounds . It read 7:32 a.m. I am soo going to be late for the first day of school.

This is not going to be a very good first day.

I lazily dragged myself out of bed, and quickly brushed my teeth, and put my too fluffy and way too curly hair up in a ponytail. I'm not exactly what you'd call pretty.

I headed downstairs, where I was met with my older brother Baylor.
"Hurry up Cath! You're gonna make us late on the first day of school! And you know what mom and dad would do if they knew we were late."

"I know. I know." I muttered at him, with pure and utter, exhaustion.

So Baylor took me and my little brother Cameron to school. First, though he had to drop off Cameron at the elementary school.

After he had gotten us parked at Ainsworth High, I got out, and went to my locker, to be met with my best friend Matt.

"Hey Matt!" I said. I had been waiting all summer to see him. My parents wouldn't let me go out of the house, unless it was to get groceries, or go to volleyball or basketball practice.

"Hey Cath! How was your summer?"

"Boring as usual. My parents wouldn't let me go out unless it was with Baylor, and go get ice cream or go get some new clothes for the new school year. How about you?"

"I didn't really do anything. I went to a few parties this summer. Hey, did you know that there's this new 'bad boy guy' coming here? I can't remember his name, but you should definitely stay clear of him. He's not good news."

Note to self: stay clear of the new guy.

My chapters will usually be longer than this, but this was just the introduction. So be prepared to have fun, but also prepare your emotions for this wild roller coaster that only goes up my friends. (You see what I did there)
