⇢ Epilogue

It's been 10 years since Shota was in a coma. A lot has changed since then, Shota and Hizashi moved to the countryside. They wanted to buy a big house, Toshinori and Nemuri followed after them buying the house on both sides of Shota house.

Hitoshi, who is now 26 years old, graduated high school and finished college. He became a writer just like his dad, He is the number 1 best selling author in the thriller/psychological genre. Hitoshi and Deku broke up after high school as they realized that they didn't feel the same for each other as they once did. It was a mutual breakup. They are still friends since their family is close, they speak but not as much since Deku moved to another country for work. Hitoshi lives in the city with his boyfriend Denki-- Yes, he followed in his dad's footsteps and got with a loud blond.

Denki was dumped by Shoto who just disappeared, left a note and was gone. Denki was heartbroken, after some time, he finally found love again and it was with Hitoshi. It was something that happened, not even Hitoshi knows how that happened but he's not complaining about it.

Eri who is now 16 years old is in her first year in UA academy and living in the dorms. She comes home during the weekends and school breaks. Eri loves being in school especially since Mirio is now a teacher at the school and Bakugou, as well. Mirio is married to Tamaki and just like Bakugo said, Kirishima was never leaving him. They just got married and Eri was their wedding planner. Many of the other students went on to be successful in many ways, opening their own bakery, becoming teachers, police officers, singer, fashion designer, dancer, lawyer and running a multimillion dollar company. The last two are married and run the company together, Iida and Momo are the power couple of the group.

Fuyumi and Tensei have two children now a son 9 years old named Touya and daughter 3 years old named Rei after her mother, Rei sadly passed away months before baby Rei was born from cancer. Enji is a doting grandfather and even though he is saddened by the loss of his son and Rei, he is thankful to have his children and now grandchildren.

Keigo moved away after Touya's death but came back after he heard about Rei. He has been a great support for the Todoroki family, and for Enji as well.

Toshinori and Inko have a 9 years old son named Tadashi, who is Deku twin but with blond hair. Nemuri was upset that he didn't use the name she wanted but in the end it worked out. Shota and Yuu had a child, but it was a surprise to learn that it was twins. Ukyo and Hinata Aziawa -- Kayama were born, both are 6 years old. They both took after their parents so much, Hinata looks so much like Shota but acts so bubbly like Yuu while Ukyo looks just like Yuu but acts like Shota. Yuzuki who is now 11 looks so much like Hizashi but with black and hints of blonde hair, but acts like both his parents.

Hizashi is still the same, just his blond hair is slowly going grey. He is still a teacher but teaches in the local high school near the house. Still loud and a dumbass but Shota wouldn't change it for nothing. Shota still writes, his books are still popular, some of them have turned into blockbuster movies making tons of money for him. Shota still doesn't have full use of his left side but got used to it and made it work for him. Shota is still his grumpy self with lots more grey than Hizashi, only because he never dyed his hair like Hizashi has. Shota cut it once for Hizashi to have a complete meltdown, it's long again and Shota told Hizashi he is forbidden to cut his hair if he does that means divorce.

Today is Shota's 45th birthday so everyone was coming over to celebrate.

"Hey dumbass, what time is Eri train arriving?" Shota yelled from his office.

"She should be here by 5. She is coming with Mirio and Tamaki. Most likely Bakugou, as well." Hizashi yelled back from the kitchen. Shota let out a loud sigh when he heard Bakugo was coming making Hizashi laugh.

"Daddy, help," Hinata screams as she is trying to carry a bag.

"Oh sweetie, let me get that.. It's light, hey-- it's only a small bag of chips in here." Hizashi says as he grabs the bag from Hinata.

"I know it's heavy. Thank you, pop-pop" Hinata says with a smile as she throws her coat on the floor.

"Hey pop," Ukyo says as he walks in and throws his coat on top of Hinata's.

"Hey gemlines, pick up your coats," Hizashi yells. They just look at him and then keep walking, Hinata enters Shota's office and Ukyo throws himself on the couch. Hizashi just sighs and was about to pick up the coats when they came running back to get it. Hizashi looks up and sees Shota standing there looking mad. Hizashi laughs knowing the little gremlins have nothing on the grouch.

"Oh you made the grouch mad." Hitoshi says, scaring Hizashi. "Shit! Don't do that. I hated when Shoto did it. You dick." Hizashi said as he hit Hitoshi in the arm making him laugh. Hitoshi laughed and called Hizashi weak, before coming inside the house and messing with hinata and Ukyo hair making them whine.

"Where is Denki?" Shota asked when Hitoshi went to give him a hug.

"Oh, he is coming with Eijo and loud mouth. I think they are with Eri, too." Hitoshi says as he takes off his coat and grabs the blanket off the couch and wraps himself in it.

"Like father, like son," Hizashi says with a laugh. Shota sighs and sits next to Hitoshi who was also joined by Ukyo, now all three are wrapped up in blankets.

"Hey wait, how did you two get here? Where is your mom?" Hizashi questioned the twins.

"Big brother got us. Mom and Mama are with Yuzuki at the train station picking up uncle Nori, auntie Inko and Tadashi," Hinata says as she grabs her standing stool to help Hizashi cook.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot his car is in the shop. Okay, little helper, let's finish cooking before everyone gets here" Hizashi says as he hands Hinata the child knife and vegetables to cut up.

Hizashi has gotten alot better at cooking and now is the chef of the house.

After some time Nemuri, Yuu, Yuzuki, Nori, Inko and Tadashi arrived. "We are here," Nori and Nemuri said in unison.

Shota looks at them with an unamused look and says "Get out."

"Can I kill him?" Nemuri asked, looking at Hizashi.

"Please don't," Hizashi begged.

"Please do," Shota replies back expressionless.

"Shota!" Hizashi's yells.

"Me too, kill me too!" Hitoshi added.

"Hitoshi!" Hizashi yelled, making everyone laugh.

"Me too," Ukyo says quietly.

"Ukyo!" Yuu yelled.

"What? If dad and bro are going, I wanna go, too," Ukyo says before laying down.

"He had to get that from you Shota right?. Out of all your good traits, he had to get that one." Yuu says as she sighs. Nemuri just laughs knowing Ukyo really is like Shota.

"Where is Eri? She told me she will be here at 5 and it's already after 5," Yuzuki questioned.

Before anyone could answer, Eri walks in with arms in the air and yells, "The queen has arrived!" Making everyone look at her and Hitoshi throwing a pillow right in her face. "You poopy stinky butt. That hurt!" Eri yelled then threw the pillow back hitting poor Ukyo who let out a small ow and laid back down.

Everyone starts laughing as Eri is now fighting with Hitoshi, "Missed you too stinky monkey," Hitoshi says, getting up to hug Eri tighter and tighter, making her yell.

"Babe, let her go," Denki says as he gets Hitoshi off of Eri only to make him hug Denki instead. "Babe, stop! I can't breathe." Denki says as he tries to get him off.

"Not until you do it?" Hitoshi says with an evil grin.

"No! It's embarrassing" Denki says. Hitoshi just squeezes hard until Denki gives in "Fine, Pika Pika you asshole..." Denki yelled, making Hitoshi let go. "Damn you, you dick!" Denki says as he catches his breath.

"Weak." Bakugo says as he walks past Denki.

"Your husband is an asshole," Denki says to Kirishima.

"Yeah, he is, but he is mine." Kirishima says with a smile.

"Kota is that you? What are you doing here?" Shota questions.

Kota who is 16 and also attends UA Academy, has been best friends with Eri since they were young. Shota hasn't seen Kota for years since he moved to the countryside and Kota still lives in the city with his aunt.

"Oh, um, Eri invited me so I hope it's okay," Kota says nervously.

"Of course it is. Everyone, I would like your attention please." Eri yelled, making everyone look at her. Bakugo just smirked knowing full well what is going to happen. "This is Kota, my boyfriend," Eri says proudly.

Everyone stood silent while Bakugo let out a small laugh making Kirishima hit him on the arm.

"Hitoshi, call Tomura and tell him we need him to get rid of a body for us," Shota says as Hitoshi picks up his phone.

"Daddy! Toshi! No!" Eri yelled trying to take Hitoshi's phone.

"Oh, cut it out Shota. You had partners at her age and besides, you know Kota's family. He is a good kid. Be happy she got a good one." Nemuri says as she lightly hits Shota's arm.

"I don't care, she's still my baby," Shota says with a pout.

"Daddy, I'm 16. I will always be your baby but I'm growing up." Eri says as she hugs and kisses Shota on his cheek. Shota pouts more but knows Eri isn't the little girl she once was.

"Um, Eri, I think you broke Pops..." Hitoshi says as he points to Hizashi who is just standing there.

"Papa, are you okay?" Eri asks, waving her hand in front of his face.

"No! You can't have her, you damn spawn. She is my princess. I can't have you defile my precious angel. You horny son of a bitch. Bakugo, gets him!" Hizashi yells as he pushes Eri behind him and tries to get Bakugo on Kota like a dog.

"Wha... I would never-- I? Eri?!" Kota tries to say and looks to Eri for help.

"Papa! Stop it." Eri says firmly

"But... Sweetie," Hiazhi says like a child.

"No! If you act like this, then I'll be mad at Papa forever." Eri says as she turns her head away from Hizashi.

"I'm sorry, please don't be mad at Papa. Papa is sorry." Hizashi begs.

"Then be nice to Kota. He is a good person and I like him a lot. So be nice. And you too daddy, and you too poopy head. And besides, he already met Shaggy, Toga, Jin and Kirogiri." Eri says. Shota looked at Kota and saw the fear in his eyes.

'I wonder what they did to him, or what Oboro did,' Shota thought. "Fine, Kota, you break her heart, I'll break you" Shota says, scaring Kota.

"Yes sir!" Kota says.

"Man, you and Kirogiri are alike. He said the same thing." Eri said as she walked to Kota.

'This family is insane and killers...' Kota thought.

"Lucky Touya isn't here. He would be even more scared," Hitoshi whispered.

"He would be dead," Shota said back, making Hitoshi agree.

"Well, welcome to the family Kota, Now let's get this party started." Nemuri said, trying to ease the tension. The rest of the night went well. Shota got a text from Oboro wishing him a happy birthday. Shota is happy knowing his best friend is back in his life, that's all he wanted.

It was the end of the party and everyone went home, Bakugo and Kirishima stood with Nemuri and Yuu. Mirio and Tamaki stood with Nori and Inko. Hitoshi and Denki are staying with Shota and Kota is sharing the room with Hitoshi.

Shota was sitting on the couch when Eri sat next to him. "Happy Birthday, Daddy." Eri says as she hands Shota an envelope.

Shota smiled and opened it, it's the first photo of Shota and Eri together. "How?" Shota questioned. The photo was taken in the foster home Eri was in before Shota took her home.

"Saski found it and sent it to me," Eri said with a smile. Shota cried and hugged Eri tight. "You saved me, Daddy. You gave me a family, a home, love. I'm thankful for you and Papa and Toshi, and everyone. I have my life because of you, and my angel, Touya." Eri says with tears in her eyes as she is holding Touya jacket.

Shota smiled and said, "No, sweetie. You saved me, my life was coming together but I was missing something and that was you. You are my world. You saved me, my princess." Shota said as he gave Eri a kiss on her forehead.

They both hugged each other tighter, Hizashi and Hitoshi were standing by the doorway when Shota waved them over, "Get over here dumbasses,'' Shota said. They both walked over and joined in on the hug. Next thing Shota knew he felt more people on him.

"Group hug!" Nori and Nemuri exclaim.

Shota just groans, "Get out of here you old hag and meat head!" Shota grumbled.

"Old hag?! You're an old man, too." Nemuri said while pinching Shota cheeks.

"How did you get in here?" Hizashi questioned. "You never lock the door pop" Hitoshi goans as he feels the weight of everyone.

"I... Can't... Breathe! Eri struggles to say. Everyone gets off and Eri finally can catch her breath.

The kids jump on Shota hugging him. "Oh! Photo time!" Denki yelled. Denki sent a text to Bakugo and Mirio to come over for photos. After everyone arrived Denki set up the photo.

Hitoshi next to Shota, Eri in the middle of Shota and Hizashi, Yuzuki next to Hizashi, Nemuri next to Yuzuki, Hinata and Ukyo are next to Hitoshi, Yuu next to them, Nori and Inko is behind Shota and Hizashi with Tadashi in the middle of them. Denki takes the photo then Shota tells Denki, Mirio, Tamaki, Kota, Bakugo, and Kirishima to join in. Denki smiled and set the timer.

Mirio and Tamaki stood next to Nori, Bakugou and Kirishima sat on the floor in front of Shota on the side, and Denki sitting in the middle of Hitoshi and Yuu. Yuzuki sitting in front of Hizashi, Hinata and Ukyo is sitting on the floor in front of Yuu. Kota is in front of Eri sitting on the floor with her arms hanging off his shoulder.

Shota holds Hizashi's hand and looks at him and smiles. "This is my family, Thank you for saving it." Shota thought as he smiled knowing he has everything he ever needed. Family and love, that's all he ever wanted. Shota and Hizashi are now complete and couldn't even be more happier.

It's the end of the book!! Finally!! I didn't think I would finish this book but I did. It's been one hell of a ride with both books, but I'm happy with the ending. ❤️

I'm working on some ideas for my next book but it won't be out for a while. I'm still trying to figure out the theme of the book, I keep changing my mind 😅 but it will not be a hero academia book it will be haikyuu 😄 keep a look out for it 😄

I might do a little one shot story with Eri but I'm not sure.. should I? 🤔
