"Get out..." he glared at them.

"Come on, man! This is how you repay us?" a boy with curly hair laughed sarcastically.

"Repay?" Peony turned her head, and watched Yu with her red eyes. The boy casually slipped on his shirt.

"You trapped me!"

Yu glanced at Peony. The girl was still hiding under the duvet. His mood was off and he didn't feel like explaining things right at this moment.

"Get out!" Yu pushed the curly hair boy out from the room.

He didn't expect that they got audiences outside the room.

"What's going on..."

"Oh my God, is that-?"

"Looks like she just lost her V card!"

"I didn't expect this from Peony!"

"Such a hypocrite!"

Peony couldn't take those gush words. She started to sob silently under the duvet.

"Hey, P! One sexy pose please!" Peony pulled the duvet to cover her face.

"Fuck off!" Yu pushed him away.

"Relax man, don't be so cocky!"

"Cocky?" Yu entwined his eyebrows.

"I know you just snatched a V card from the purest girl in the school..."

"Shut the fuck up or I'll fucking kill you!" Yu grabbed the boy by his collar. Everybody got scared as hell.

He then released the boy and looked at Peony. Poor that girl was so scared!

"Out, before I lose my patience!"

The audience immediately fled the scene. However, some of them managed to click a few pictures, which Yu will handle them later.

"Wear your clothes," Yu threw a dress to Peony. The girl stared at him with her teary eyes.

"Fine! I'll turn back..." he turned his body, facing the empty space after closing the door. It's important for Peony to dress properly before they left.

This girl will gonna experienced her first ever Walk of Shame.

Both of them descending from upstair. Yu put his jacket on Peony's shoulder. He then hugged her from side and ushered her across the hall.

Peony's head dropped down all the time. She couldn't even faced the crowd. She was too embarrassed and devastated. Clueless, shock...

Every emotion mixed inside her.

Yu suddenly stopped walking. He looked at Peony then glared at the crowd.

"Leak this, and you will touch down the hell even before your sunrise..."

He gave them a sharp warning in the most subtle reaction ever. Then, he dragged Peony out from the house. There's a motorbike waiting for them outside.

The rider passed him a key and two helmets. Then, the man jumped into a black Jeep that waited for them, just a few feet away from the motorbike.

Yu helped Peony with the helmet. He tied the belt properly while staring at her, unblinked. The man then tied his jacket around her waist, covered her white legs so people won't peek under her skirts.

"I'll send you home.."

Peony's heart shivered when Yu mentioned the word 'home'.

How can she face her family now?

Peony slowly opened the door. Creaking sounds made her jumped a bit. Her parents must be at home by now. She saw a red car outside the house. They must be home already.

"Yarh, where have you being?!" even before she could take a breath, she got a good taichi slap at the back.

"Ma!" she cried in pain. Her mom constantly beat her, released the fuming inside her heart.

"Ma! It hurts!!"

"I told you to wait at home! Where are you going, huh?!"

They started bickering, these mom and daughter. Yelping and shouting filled the hall. Ang stepped down from upstairs, tried to calm down his mom.

"Ma... Stop it! You are tired, please rest first!" Ang grabbed her from behind.

"Let go of me!"

"Ma, we just arrived. You need a rest... You didn't even sleep last night," said Ang.

"I said-"

Everyone went silence when they noticed a boy entered the house.

"Hello..."

Yu stood there, hands politely at front. He bowed a bit.

"Peony!!!"

"Ma!! Listen first-argh!"

Yu and Ang quickly release them from each other. Yu hugged Peony tight, pushed her behind him so he can protected her from the angry mom.

"Calm down, Mrs. Lee.. I can explain..."

"Who are you?!"

"I am Yu Brunner, Peony's friend. I am so sorry for being rude. I know I should ask for a permission first. I came to borrow notes from Peony. And when she said she needs to cook for breakfast, I invite her for a breakfast outside so we can discuss about the biology project as well,"

Peony looked at Yu with a sharp glare.

How can he lied at breeze?

"Whatever it is, you should text me first, amoi!!" And let his mom go.

"Sorry, mom..." the old lady sighed heavily. She took a glance at Yu. The boy politely stood up in front of her.

"Are you her friend?" Yu nodded.

"Fine. Amoi, go move your ass and fix a drink for you friend! Come boy, let's go inside," said her.

There's a huge relief in his face. He smiled, took off his shoes and entered the house. Peony stood still at the enterance, felt confused.

Did mom just invited him inside?

"Peony!!"

"Yes mom!" she quickly entered the house and went straight into the kitchen.

Peony POV

"Next time, if you wanna taste a nice hot tea, just don't hesitate to stop by, okay?" says Ma.

"Very well, Mrs. Lee..."

"Aiya, just call me Ma..."

"Ma? Oh, yeah... Ma..."

Don't ask me how these two end up being so friendly to each other. Watching them giggle together makes me dizzy and angry at the same time.

If only Ma knew...

"I'll let both of you chat a bit..."

"There's nothing to talk to him. Bye,"

"Actually, I do,"

I grunt, kicking sands under my feet. I don't wanna talk to him, facing him is enough to make me boil inside.

"Talk. 5 minutes," I glared.

"Not here,"

"It's here, or never," I told him with a stern voice.

Yu gazing on me. He shook his head a little bit before approached me with subtle reaction.

"Okay, we can talk here. I guess you wouldn't mind if your mom knows about last night..." I push him away, and dragged him far from the house.

"Talk," I stare him straight into his eyes. For me, I have no more to talk to. What happened last night was enough to make me hate him to the core.

Yu stood still, gazed on me. Right now, I just don't care what's in his mind.

"If you got nothing to say, then just excuse yourself. I have nothing more further," I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer.

"Let me go!"

"Let you go?" Yu scoffed, maybe he was amused looking at me scared to death.

"Is it not enough what you did last night with me?" I asked.

Out of blue, he pulled me into a tight hug, holding my shoulder; well, actually more like clenching his hand on my shoulder. I writhe in pain.

He didn't say much, just pastering me with his blue eyes. It's blue, it's beautiful and clear but they had a dark gaze.

Evil gaze.

"No," he told me, before he pushed me away. I almost stumbled to the ground. He took his key, and started the motorbike. Before he left, he gave me one last glance and smirk.

"Peony..."

I have no will to respond.

"Thanks..." he dashed away with his motorbike and left me, feeling so scared and confused.

He hurt me, yet he thanked me?

What is the meaning of that?
