Chapter Nine
I woke up in a dimly lit room. I blinked my eyes open and discovered that I was sitting up. Who fucking sleeps sitting up like this? Then it came to me. Wait... I felt a nagging pain all over me and discovered that I was tied down to a chair. Shit... I tried to use my quirk, but I just felt a pain in my hands. I tried to yell in frustration, but it was muffled by a familiar bandana. It smelled like old blood and a comforting scent that seemed far away. It made me mad so I tried to hop around in the chair to escape.
A head with moppy blue hair popped through the door. "Ahh Bakugou~ You're awake. Finally. I thought that you would never wake uo after what had happened." He opened the door all of the way and a familiar body fell down.
"Ashido!" I managed to muffle out. She didn't look like her usual happy self. Her eyes were filled with panic and her smile wasn't there. She seemed like she wasn't her. Her hands and feet were tied together and there was something over her mouth to prevent her from speaking. It looked like another bandana but I wasn't so sure.
"Yeah, we found your phone when you passed out. We noticed that you were leaking information to her. We're working on getting the others who know too, so don't worry. You'll have more company soon. We all kniw hiw annoying this one gets." Handman chuckled before he slammed the door shut.
Ashido lifted her head towards the door and when she noticed that it was closed, she wiggled around until her hands were in front if her. She moved the bandana around with her fingers to see the knot and untied it. She looked back at me. "Don't worry, I'm going to get you out too." Ashido squirmed around until she was sitting up. She scooted until she was behind me, then stood up and untied my bandana. When it fell into my lap, that's when I recognized it. It was Kirishima's bandana he ws wearing on that Friday. I stared at it and felt tears crawl into my eyes. "Bakugou?"
"Shut up Pinky." I shook my head to rid of the tears. "We need to come up with a plan." I wasn't in the mood for feelings. They'd weigh me down.
"Alright. What can we do to escape?" She asked.
"Well, how about, through the door? If we time it perfectly then we can do it."
"Okay, tell me your plan." She told me.
"Don't tell me what to do." I scoffed and closed my eyes as I thought about the lay-out of the building. "Okay," I said, with ny eyes closed so I can visualize. "So, doen this hallway, there are two more, one left and another right. If I'm thinking about this correctly, we need to go down the right hallway. The left one leads straight into the middle of the training arena where they all hang out."
"Training Arena? Is that where yo-"
"Yes, now shut up about that topic." I shuddered and I thought about it. What if the clone was real... I shook my head to clear those thoughts. What matters is that it wasn't. "Alright, once we go down the right hallway, we go through the third door down on the left side. That should lead to a small room with two more doors on separate walls. One of those doors leads to outside while the other one leads to the Training Arena, but before we leave this plawe need to get Kirishima. He should be in one of those rooms." I opened my eyes and stopped visualizing this awful place. When we leave, I'm never going to let Kirishima go.
"How's your quirk?" Ashido asked me.
"What?" I noticed that she was behind me, trying to untie my hands.
"Well, my quirk was removed for Twenty-Four hours thanks to this weird syrum that they made me take." Ashido informed me.
"Well, I can't use mine either but that must mean that I got a similar, if not, the same syrum you have." I inquiried.
"Probably." She just shrugged and finished tying my hands. "My turn."
I mkved my hands away from my back and looked at them. "Yeah, yeah, I know." I started to work on hers with a grunt. The knots weren't that hard to undo. They were simple one-knotted knots. I scoffed. Amateurs.
"Thanks Bakugou." We untied our legs and I stood up for the first time in what felt like days. I remembered the bandana as I saw it fall onto the floor. I quickly grabbed it and stuffed the bandana into my pocket. "Are you going to keep that dirty bandana?" She asked.
"Duh Pinky. When we get out of here, they'll need DNA and this thing is probably full of it." I said quietly. It was partly true. I was also keeping it for Kirishima when this whole mess was over, I could give it to him. "Anyways, what is today?"
"Tuesday, now shh." Ashido rolled her eyes and put her ear to the door to listen for anyone. She slowly creaked it open and looked around. "Coast is clear." She walked out and beckoned me to follow as she sped walked down the hallway where it lead to the split.
I looked down the hallway and realized something. This hallway was familiar. "Wait," I went to the room- not the awful room that we just came out of- and opened the door.
"What are you doing?! It's this way!" Raccoon Eyes yelled as quietly as she could. Her knees were bent and her hands were at her sides. She was definitly in stealth mode.
I rolled my eyes and looked inside the room to see the same sulken body that I saw a few days ago, except this time I noticed that he looked and smelled like death. His eyes opened when the door did, so I knew that he was still alive, barely. "Oi, Deku. Imma get you outta here."
