Jewel noticed Spooker seemed to freeze in terror as they stepped out onto the porch. Then he suddenly turned heel and ran. Colon ran after him, and Jewel gave chase as well. She could hear the yells of her friends behind her, but she had to stick to her other friends for now.

Jewel was looking at a burning building when she crashed into Colon and fell over. She jumped to her feet immediately. "Why did we stop?" She asked "Well, uh," Colon started. Jewel walked around him and was silenced by shock.

There in front of Spooker, who was a few feet away, appeared to be... 

"What the hell are you supposed to be?" Jewel demanded to the figure towering over them "A Dragon person?"

The figure has dark reddish wings, black hair, and glowing crimson eyes.

The assumed Girl smirked. "Foolish, aren't you? That's the first thing that comes to mind? A Dragon?" Her eyes moved up to look at the logo imprinted on Jewel's beanie. "Aren't you supposed to be a ghost hunter?" She crossed her arms.

"What's that got to do with it?" Jewel said, hands on hips.

Colon muttered to Jewel out of the corner of his mouth, "Jewel, shut up. That's a Demon!"

Jewel slowly turned her head toward the winged figure. "...Are you sure?"

"Yes Jewel!"

"Um... I think we'll be going now..." Jewel approached Spooker and grabbed his shoulders. Once he was on his feet Jewel whispered in his ear: "Back away. Slowly."

So that's what they did. The girl just smirked. She flew away before they could get back far enough.

SPooker seemed to be able to breathe again while Colon gave Jewel the most dumbfounded look. "Even I know what a Demon looks like!" He exclaimed

"W-Whatever." Jewel huffed as she crossed her arms.

Just as they were about to turn and leave there was a flash of light.

They were standing outside of the town.

"What in the name of-" Jewel started but was cut off by someone backing into her causing her fall onto the grass.

Me: Um, hi guys.

Ruby: ...

Me: Don't give me that look. Anyway Sorry that it's been so long. and that this book is going to be short... There'll be like two more chapters. This is the climax and I still have to take care of the falling action...

Jimmy: *Yawns* Boring.

Ruby: Nobody even asked Alyssa

Me: When did you become so rude Ruby?

Ruby: Welcome to my world.

Me: Um okay.
