It hadn't been long before the LPPD and LPBD pushed their way to the front of the crowd.

"Attention citizens of LP and LB!"

Everyone paid them no attention and were looking around

"OI!" Officer Baloney shouted.

Eventually, it calmed down.

"Okay, We have no idea what just happened. But it doesn't matter. We're alive!" Maloney continued.

Maxine (Forgot about her? Me too)Rolled her eyes at the cops and just floated by the other Rogers.

Okay! Follow us! We have to get away from the burning town. We'll come back when its over. Maybe." Baloney said as he began to walk away into the dense forest.

Diamond ran up to the Police and tapped Baloney on the shoulder. "Yesssss?" He said looking at Diamond.

"So, where are we going?" "No clue!"

"So what caused the fire?" Diamond asked

"I was there." Baloney said turning his head forward, "Crazy. It just appeared in the middle of town square." 

"Where even is Town square?"

"You know, that area in front of Angela's clinic?"

"That's a road." 

"...True."

Diamond just sighed and stopped until Emerald, Gem, and Jewel caught up.

"So?" Emerald asked Diamond as she joined them. "Sounds like something paranormal." Diamond said.

"And how did we get out of the town?" Emerald said staring at the sky.

"Um... No clue...?" Diamond said not staring off to the side.

Liar

"We should investigate the remains of our town when the fire stops," Emerald said.

"No! Please, no!" Gem said suddenly.

"What? Why?" Diamond demanded, turning to look at her.

"I-I saw the paranormal thing..." "What was it?" Emerald asked

"Demon." Jewel interrupted as Gem opened her mouth.

Ah, sh*t.

...Ruby? Do you have something to do with this?

No, I was just saying that for dramatic effect.

"Okay... Well, Gem you don't have to come." Emerald said "There were Demons? You saw them?" Diamond pressed.

"I saw one." Jewel interrupted. "She was girly."

"I saw one too." Gem said, "He was tall. REALLY tall."

"Look, a clearing!" Someone shouted.

Sure enough, there was a large opening in the trees. The moon looked down on the grass.

Diamond stopped dead. This was the clearing where the "Darkness" swallowed her.

Emerald stopped as she noticed Diamond missing. "What's wrong?"

"Everything... That's happened... it was in my dream..." Diamond said.

"Oh... You're right..." Emerald said, "This definitely was no normal fire."

Emerald just shook her head. "We'll investigate it tomorrow. For now, let's relax. "

The clearing was large enough for the people of LP and LB to spread out. Practically a field surrounded by trees. The P.I. team went over to where P.I.E. was.

While everyone else was talking, Diamond was staring blankly at the sky. Her head snapped forward as she saw movement in the trees ahead.

She got up and moved toward the tree where she saw it.

Ghost saw her doing this and got up himself. "What are you doing?"

Diamond flinched and whipped around. "Oh, I just saw something move." She pointed at the space between the trees.

"It's probably a deer or something. Come back and talk." Ghost said, smiling.

Diamond sighed. "Okay."

Me: Um. So the next chapter. Uh. I just want to warn you... No, I'm gonna ask you, don't kill me.

Ruby: Way to keep it a surprise

Me: But I didn't tell them what it was

Ruby: But I wanted it to hit them in the face. For revenge. *Glares at @JaimmieCaskeett *

Me: Pff, Its funny.

Ruby: No. No, it's not.

Jimmy: Oh it's funny.

Ruby: No one asked your opinion, Jimmy.
