Lady in red
Felix
It's about how the cookie crumbles at the end of the day.
Staff, waiters, cooks, customers, Felix and his new bestie were all trapped in the restaurant. Jisung had locked the entrance doors up once he had asserted that a robbery was taking place.
Thirty minutes into the restaurant invasion and robbery, and finally the incompetent police divison had availed themselves to surround the restaurant. Felix couldn't help but smile when he had the police sirens.
From where he was planted, he could easily see that Jisung was scared.
But this was a much simpler task compared to the ones he was affiliated with before. In fact, Minho and Jeongin were tame organizers. Whether it was believable or not to Jisung.
"Lady in red " Felix sang. Sang out loud, pointing at a random brunette crouched on the floor in absolute fear and tremor.
Damn!? Why were though so scared ? The guns were fake. Well, Jisung's was fake. The one in the delicate hands of Felix was loaded and unforgiving.
The lady only shook in fear, hiding her face among the bundled crouched group of friends.
"Don't ignore me. That's a good song....Sing along" Felix pleaded in a sickly sweet voice.
The surrounding customers on the floor regarded him with looks of disgust, and contempt. He didn't care.
And when lady in red didn't sing along, a single snap shot was fired.
Bang! Loud, precise and successfully pushing everyone in the place into panicked mode.
"Please! I have kids here! P-please" sobs sounded after the single bullet was fired into the air.
The bullet being successfully intercepted into the ceiling surface.
Everyone was pleading and terrified at this point. Hell, even Jisung was shocked.
"I said sing along" Felix said softly in the most comforting tone known to man's ear.
Voice deep but shushing the chaos. Both Felix could hear the policemen out there pleading for a chance to diffuse the situation. Their voices were to be heard on megaphones, they too were just as frantic after hear hearing the shot. "This can be negotiated amicably!" Or "Come out now and face a lessor sentence" were heard .
"LaDy in R-red.....lAdY in re-"
"You have great vocals" Felix applauded and gushed in an appreciative tone. Following this he signalled her to get up with a flicker the firearm in his hand.
She did get up. Whimpering and shaking, to the point of looking like she's about to wet herself.
"You're going to walk out of the front door. And assure the lovely police that everything is fine and dandy." Felix explained.
"No-no..no... They'll shoot the first thing they see walk out" She pleaded, clutching onto her red now wrinkled dress. Being used as a hostage or human shield almost guaranteed death 99% of the time.
"That's why I chose you. With your great voice and red dress. Say anything to them that you think will save your life. " Felix explained.
This is the harsh use of hostages. Felix meets the blazing eyes of his partner in crime, and remembers that Jisung too was a hostage too at some point.
"Do it! Or someone will be paying with their lives today."
Jisung does as instructed by Chan in the van prior to the whole ordeal. He walked all the way into bathrooms. With the bag of stolen money and goods. For a first time rookie, he's pretty proficient, contrary to the Jisung Felix had met a while ago. A shy and easily spooked Jisung.
It all happens so quickly. The lady in red shuffled to the entrance doors, screaming at the top of her lungs for the police to cease fire.
Once all attention for five measely seconds is on the lady in red, Felix makes a dash for it.
And Felix makes it out of the restaurant the same way he came in. Leaving Jisung behind in the customer bathrooms.
At the mercy of the police.

All he wanted after that whole fiasco was a manicure and pedicure. He deserved it. Yet upon crossing the first street leading to the a random coffee shop he enjoyed, he was stopped dead in his tracks.
Stopped by law itself. In the bustling noise of the city, and honking of cars and vehicles, it amazes Felix that Changbin could still find time to stalk and find him.
Panting and exhausted from all the running, he crouched, hand leaning him onto the staircase of the building he intended to enter.
He knows Changbin is behind him. He can feel judging eyes scrutinize him from a distance. He knows that gaze. He had removed his balaclava, and left it outside of the restaurant backdoor randomly. Policemen had been stationed there to await anyone coming out of the place, but their slow asses couldn't chase Felix through shady networks of alleys if their lives depended on it.
Dramatically turning around in the deserted area, Felix started in a whiney voice :
"Officer? I'm innocent" Felix fluttered his eyelashes bashfully, orbs twinkling gorgeously. His lips were in a pout, one that read as mockingly pretentious.
"Stop fucking around. You're tampering with the law and will be in a cell for the rest of life, not to mention risking your own life-
"You care about my life?" Felix cooed, looking at the ex-officer with feigned admiration.
Seo Changbin was and will always remain a losing underdog in his lane. Felix knew only as much as he was told by Minho about Changbin. That every theory that was gang related, and crime related that he went on record to propose publicly was indeed mostly correct. However his own colleagues had no faith in him. Higher powers had him snapped off due to his investigations being a threat in the organised crime network.
Felix is sometimes surprised that Changbin is still alive after the things he publicy spewed on television about powerful corrupted figures.
Seo Changbin although not backed or supported by the local Police and any government protection sector, was a freelancer detective at this point. Minho described him as a dog that could only ever bark but never bite.
Felix was mildly intrigued by Minho's words. Changbin looks like he would bite. It's more than physical looks and attributes. It's his aura. It's the confidence and integrity he carries himself with even when presumably at his lowest point.
"Why are you doing this?" Changbin sighed, with the equivalent disappointment of a parent.
He doesn't care enough about Felix to be disappointed. It's a little insulting to Felix. And that prompts an even more petty response out of him.
"You know what's wrong with you officer?"
Felix walked closer to the man. He wanted to start off by calling that takcy pastor looking outfit Changbin had on as one of the many wrong things.
The rhetoric goes consequently unanswered.
"You're too serious. All work and politics, and no fun......But I can show you fun, I saw how you looked at me in the club" Felix whispered the last part like it was a secret. He raised his index finger, to press it to his lips, thus punctuating his words.
Changbin can feel his heartbeat increasing, drumming and pacing at thoughts of Felix and his explicit dancing in that evil club. Changbin can't help but internally chant how shameless society has become. Felix is at the apex of lust as a sin in Changbin's eyes. And nothing can change that.
Granted, he visits the club and many other night spots popular with youth and understated affiliates of gangs at his own accord.
He even stopped his activities in the local library after spotting someone he thought was the young man running across the street like sonic the hedgehog.
Changbin is aware that Felix has a tie to a powerful syndicate in the undeeground scene. He's tailing and keeping tabs on him for a while now. All he had learned is that Felix is a diva and is flexible as hell, his legs can-
"Don't be silly" Changbin scoffed in a disgusted tone. One laced with disapproval and a unfamiliar escape of emotion.
"I'd let you if you want" Felix this time made his point loud and clear. He placed the very same finger into his mouth, teeth baring to bite at it in a camp fashion he had mustered in dance classes.
"Let me ?" Changbin had been watching Felix. The crude little gestures the younger was displaying, how his eyes were shining with mischief and boring directly into Changbin's direction.
He knew better than to entertain Felix. Changbin knew that the boy had a screw loose up there.
"I'd let you fuck me" Felix casually quipped.
The boiling point of water as per CAPs standards is a 100° Celsius. Changbin's was much higher than that in terms of patience. Changbin was a patient man, and often this would be confused with being complacent.
Felix could break Changbin's boiling point and he knew it. Even with the few to no encounters they had.
"You'd have to take me on a date first though, I'm a classy lad. Maybe shots first then we f-"
" You're shameless"
"And you dying inside to touch me. You fantasize about-" Felix retorted.
"I'm going to go first, but head this warning Felix. You're risking your life. The law does not bend over for anybody" Changbin announced in protestant preachy delivery.
He walked off with these words left to settle in the air. Not sparing Felix a single look. This was Changbin running away, and in Felix' eyes he had won one in this interaction.
Poor innocent Officer Seo could not handle such a crude exchange. How could he? He was an upright citizen.
