High School AU + Fanasty AU

Poppy is happily leaves Trollworks with a smile on his face. He wears blue shirt,cool aqua baggy pants, Jean jacket and a couple small silver earrings and a Hug Time bracelet. Random trolls greet the popular boy happily as he passes them. The teen girls giggle to themselves as he replies back. The pink boy has a really good life and there is no denying that. The Pink troll wouldn't change life,except for one detail. Making his best friend,Branch, happy again and finally getting her talk more.

A grey girl with patchy black skirt with a green shirt and dull red jacket sits on the bench preparing to walk back to her bunker as he spots her. Poppy's smile becomes fonder and immediately walks over to her. Branch has always been a mystery to him but, that only made him more curious.

" Hey Branch!", Poppy greets out happily.

" Oh... hey Poppy. ", Branch says softly.

The grey girl smiles softly as she gets back to standing. Then the happy teen notices some marks on her arms like look like bruises. These marks would appear every now and then but, Poppy never knew why though. It worries him actually.

" What's that mark on your arm?", Poppy asks concerned.

" It's nothing... ", Branch lies not wanting talk.

Branch would always keep things like this secret from him. No matter how hard he tried Branch would never open up like the way he hoped she would. It both annoys him and make him feel like he is doing something wrong. Before the popular boy could press any further Branch quickly greeted him then walked away awkwardly. Poppy let's out a sad sigh then turns around to walk home. As he walked he couldn't stop thinking about Branch.

" Why can't Branch just talk to me? I wish life was different...", Poppy says softly and honestly.

Little did he know that wish would change everything... Suddenly a wormhole opened up out of nowhere and pulled him in! Then he fell onto the ground in a world that seemed almost identical to his! Poppy gets up and notices a mirror in front of him floating. On the other side it showed a grey version of him wearing a dark grey hoodie and simple blue jeans. They both share the same shocked expression. Then suddenly and magically their clothing and appearances switched within a few seconds!

" What the heck is the going on?", the other Poppy says confused and unhappily.

" Easy. You both made the same wish so I put you both in each other's worlds and take on each other's lives. Neither of you said how you wanted your Life to be different. ", a mysterious voice says calmly echoing around the empty area of green.

Both Poppies look around for the source of the voice but, couldn't see who was talking. Then they both looked back at the magical mirror and realizes it was from the mirror. The mirror glows goldenly and reveals a female Trairy. She smiles at them softly.

" This is of course temporary. You each experience your new lives til this mirror starts glowing again becoming a portal but, I won't tell you how long that will be. The way I see it you both need some help and only yourselves can fix that. I'll be watching to make sure nothing extreme happens. ", the Tairy says calmly.

Then the Trairy disappears and the mirror becomes so small it fits in an hand. It has stopped glowing as Poppy holds it looking at the other version of himself who looks like he wants scream.

" Why does this have to happen?! How could this get any worse?", the other Poppy says unhappily.

" Relax. I'm sure it won't be so bad. ", Poppy says hoping for the best.

" Yes. It will! My life which you are taking on isn't a piece of cake! We should probably tell each other our lives and pretend to be each other so nobody gets suspicious. The last thing I need is trouble! ", the other Poppy says seriously and awkwardly.

The former pink troll bites on his lower lip. This version of him seems a bit paranoid. He was kind of like Branch actually. The hopeful and happy Poppy tells his grey self all the good stuff about his life and how the former grey him will be having a blast but, the negative Poppy didn't like it all!

" I can't keep up with that?! Do you have endless energy in you or something?!", Negative Poppy says shocked and unhappily.

" Your gonna go nowhere if your gonna keep doing that...", Poppy says blankly.

Negative Poppy just rolls his eyes at him. Is he suppose to feel motivated by that now? The only one who could actually do that was his mother and his Branch. Branch always got him out of trouble and could make him feel better with a simple smile.

" Okay if your gonna be me then you must lay low and don't draw attention! And stay by my Branch's side as much as possible but, don't act all werid or different around her cause she will notice. I don't want her to be weirded out by you then be gone when I'm back! ", formerly grey Poppy says unhappily and seriously.

Then he shows the Positive Poppy a picture of a beautiful blue cheerleader. She almost looked exactly like his Branch but, more bright, colourful and happy. He always wanted to see her happy again. The Orginal Poppy smiles at the picture. She looked really cute as a cheerleader.

Soon the mirror gets smaller and falls into the palm of happy Poppy's hand. His negative self had given him more warnings and mentioned something about a gang called "The Terrors". Apparently they have an eye out for him especially and that Terence has this werid thing for his Branch.

The grey looks at the mirror then looks up. His eyes widen when he realizes that he was suddenly in a dark bedroom and it was already night! This must be other Poppy's room. It wasn't as welcoming and fun as his bedroom but, looks like he stuck with it for a while. He hears his mother's voice after there was a knock on the door.

" Honey, I'm leaving your dinner is at door. Call for me if you need help with anything and also Branch was here with your notebook. Apparently you dropped it. ", Peppy says caringly.

The mother's footsteps could be heard as she walked away. Poppy was a little surprised that the other version of him didn't eat dinner with his mother. He would eat with his own mother every night. Maybe they are not as close or other him just liked eating by himself.

The next day, the grey happy troll walks into the school by himself. He didn't think much about the warnings he was given. Most of the other trolls barely noticed him but, the ones who did noticed that something was different from how they have known their Poppy to act. They all just shaked it off not caring.

The happy troll quickly and calmly got what he needed from 'his' locker but, after he closed it suddenly he was surrounding in a way he wasn't use to or had experienced before! He turned around to see an unknown group of trolls looking at him evilly. Now Poppy understands a little more better why the other him spoke so scared about the gang and they looked simply pure evil in their eyes!

' Sugar Honey Iced Tea...',Poppy cursed in his mind.

"You should had listened Grey boy when I told yesterday to never come back after you got in my way...", Terence say with threatening tone.

The hall was now very less busy with students. Almost all of them had left meaning Poppy wasn't safe. Christopher forced Poppy into the locker easily. The whole gang laughed at Poppy for his failed attempt to escaped.

" After you figure out how to get out, if I see you again and with Branch later we will kick your sorry butt so hard you won't leave the hospital. Remember Grey boy! Branch is - ", Terence says evilly but; gets cut off.

" I am what,Terence? ", Branch's voice says suddenly,loudly and angrily.

The whole gang turns around to see the angry cheerleader dressed in her cheerleader uniform for this morning's cheer event. She had her hands on her hips with most angry look on her face. Branch has deep sky blue skin,Pop troll ears, Royal Sapphire blue hair, purplish blue nose and blue eyes.

Terence has been trying to have sex with her ever since he saw her naked in the girls locker room by 'accident'. He was looking for another girl but, he caught her in shower and got suspended for a week after the cheerleading couch caught him watching her shower.

" Oh sweetheart. I didn't know you were standing there. ", Terence says flirtatiously like he did nothing wrong.

" I am not your sweetheart! I am not your girlfriend! Now leave Poppy alone before I get really angry!", Branch says angrily.

" And do what exactly? Your gonna dance for us?", Jordan says mockingly.

Everyone but; Terence,Poppy and Branch laughed at the joke. Branch simply glared at them. After another moment of mocking and jokes Terence left with gang behind him but, the gang leader only did it thinking it will help him get lucky with Branch later.

" Sicko...", Branch comments annoyed.

Poppy bangs in his locker reminding her that he was still stuck in there. The cheerleader's eyes widen when she realizes that he is still in there. She quickly ran over to the locker and put in the code. The only reason she knew his code was cause he told her before for situations like this. She quickly opens the locker revealing the grey troll looking at her like he wasn't having a good day anymore.

Back at home Poppy would never get bullied like this! Sure there were couple trolls jealous of him who would say mean things sometimes which never bothered him much but, this is the first Poppy was ever actually been physically bullied in general! The other him was right... His life isn't a piece of cake.

" You okay,Pops? ",colourful Branch asks softly and concerned.

Poppy slowly steps out of the locker with the help of this world's Branch. She was more nice to him than his world's Branch. Now being out of his locker looks at her and notices that not only did she act different but,she looked different too. Her ears looked like his instead of being a deformed, she wore makeup and jewelry and her hair was brushed so neatly that it looked soft and perfect. The picture he was shown before didn't fully match how Branch looked now. Honestly the other Poppy didn't show him the best picture of Branch. She looked like one of the popular girls but, more beautiful.

" I think you should stick with me for a while. Ignore Terence. Ever since I brokeup with the Rugby Captain he told Terence that I am easy to get in bed... He's my problem so don't worry about it... ", Branch says calmly and caringly.

Then she grabs her pompoms from her hair and starts walking away more confidently than what he was used to seeing. This Branch was more confident in herself. Poppy quickly catches up with her after realizing he was staring. The popular girl turns her head to him and smiles happily.

" By The way. I like your jacket. It looks nice. ", Branch comments honestly.

Meanwhile back with the pink unhappy Poppy... He couldn't believe how nice everyone was being and they all wanted to be his friend. It was exhausting talking to everyone who stopped him to chat or invite him to a party or ask when is his next one! Some reason the Terrors weren't having their eyes on him as a target but, he is really glad about that. By the time it was lunch the unhappy Poppy went to the table in the corner and sits down wanting a break from all of the socializing.

" Since when do you sit here? Shouldn't you be with other annoying popular kids?",Branch's voice says suddenly.

Poppy turns his head to see the grey girl. He was surprised that she was grey but, the other him did warn him that his Branch wasn't a happy troll. It was strange to see her grey though and her confidence wasn't as out going as he was use to. Looks like she might be more quiet like him but, she had a different attitude. Branch sits down on the other side. He smiles as he noticed that her ears still looked kind of mixed or deformed. He always liked how they were different and she still looked beautiful without makeup and also being grey.
