Trollstopia AU

It's a lovely day in Trollstopia. The birds are singing. The sun is shining. Trolls are enjoying their day. A very fancy car drives through causing the sideby trolls to buzz and mutter in excitement as they take notice. Soon the fancy car drives into the main square of Trollstopia.

Branch,Poppy and the rest of the Snack Pack notices the sudden change in the area. Almost every troll is excited and talking as they look at the mysterious fancy car parks in a random spot. The Snack Pack looks at car and are confused by commotion. Poppy is standing right next Branch,his best friend.

" What's going on?",Branch asks confused.

Branch is wearing a simple very cute red dress with her usual leaf vest, new white belt and blue Hug Time bracelet. The Fashion Twins had got to shake up her look a little. They honestly think she looks better in this dress than the usual patchy one. It is flattering and fits her figure perfectly without showing off too much. Even Poppy likes it the most... Branch's hair is loose and neatly brushed like the way she usually does.

Now everyone is looking at the fancy car still talking among each other over what's going on. Branch and Poppy step forward a little along with the rest of their group. Poppy is wearing his usual blue pants and vest with a small blue flower in his hair by his ear.

Then suddenly a Rock troll bodyguard wearing a black suit and black sunglasses steps out the car from the front passenger side. He closes the car door then walks over to the other door near it. The bodyguard opens the door slowly and wide. Another Rock Troll bodyguard steps out making way for his employer. The many trolls run over to the car excited to see who's inside but, the bodyguards make sure to block them from getting too close.

The many fan trolls has camera's like the Press and start talking pictures. The Snack Pack slowly joins the crowd and gets in the front row to see what is going on. Based off how crazy everyone is getting they guess it might be someone important or a famous celebrity. Then the famous and handsome celebrity steps out of the car.

He is wearing is cool black shades,green polo,black jacket and green pants. He looks handsome as he takes off his sunglasses with flare. His name is Stanley and he is an famous Talk Show host and the Trolls' favourite TV personality three times in a row. The other Troll fans react with screams of excitement, cameras going off and talking how famous Stanley is.

Stanley spots Branch and smiles at her without her noticing as Branch looks at him with a friendly, innocent and a little in awe look on her face. Branch never heard of Stanley but, he looks like a cool,impressive and nice guy. It's like the "Fin Cascade" event is happening all over again...

Poppy and the Snack Pack notices Branch starting to walk over to him. Branch reaches Stanley with a innocent and friendly smile on her face. Poppy starts to feel some uneasiness in his heart suddenly but, he didn't know why. The blue woman reaches the famous celebrity who looks up and down her body for two seconds with a smile that says that he likes what he sees. A friendly smile takes the previous one's place as Branch offers her hand to him.

" Hi. I'm Branch and welcome to Trollstopia. ", Branch says friendly.

" Well hello. I'm Stanley. Has anyone told you look like a beautiful Angel?", Stanley says friendly and a little flirty.

The celebrity shakes the woman's hand as she blushes at question. Nobody ever told her that she was beautiful other than Poppy of course. Poppy didn't do it all the time but, he did sometimes. Branch usually thought he was just saying it because,he is her best friend. But, that wasn't the only reason unknowingly to Branch. But at the same time nobody ever called her a "Beautiful Angel". She becomes a little shy during this moment.

" Well.. no actually...",Branch admits shy.

" Well that's a surprise. Your really are a beauty. ",Stanley says flirty and friendly.

He is trying to butter Branch up and it's working. Poppy watches near by a little jealously as Stanley and Branch continue to talk on. The king tries to tell himself that Branch is just making a new friend but,it didn't look that way which breaks Poppy's heart a little. Poppy is in love with Branch but,never had the courage to tell her...

Branch laughs with Stanley over a joke he just told. They are getting along fine at this moment. The celebrity touches the female's hand lightly. The male has an interest beyond friendship in Branch unknowingly to her.

" Say how about you and me hangout later? I'll show you around the show set and you can show me around Trollstopia. ",Stanley says friendly.

" Oh sure. That sounds really interesting. Do you do that a lot with other trolls? ", Branch replies happily.

" Well mostly my Friends and pretty girls. And your both.", Stanley reponds friendly and charming.

Branch blushes and laughs at Stanley's words. She still isn't use to being treated like this even know how much it happens. Being friends with Stanley sounds nice to her. She likes him since he is so charming and nice to her and not stuckup like some celebrities.

Two weeks later, Poppy is in his pod waiting for Branch to come hangout. He sits on the couch patiently. He fiddles with his fingers counting down the minutes. Branch is a little late but, he hopes she will come. The blue troll isn't the type to ditch her friends.

Then Poppy's ears perk a little at the sound of foot steps. A hopeful smile quickly appears on his face as he turns his upper body towards the open door. Branch steps into the pod happily with a happy look on her face.

" Sorry I'm late,Pops. Stanley stopped me on the way.",Branch says honestly.

Poppy feels a small spark of jealous but, tries to shake it off. The way Stanley would act around Branch and make her blush would always spark jealousy in Poppy. There was no doubt that Poppy was in love with Branch but, could Stanley really take her away from him? The king just hoped that Stanley didn't. He didn't want to lose her.

Branch skips over to the couch and sits down next to Poppy. The king looks at her then notices that something seems different about her. It was like she was extra happy than usual. What could had caused that? Maybe she is just having a really good day?

" What has you so happy? Reorganized your bunker?", Poppy asks playfully.

" No. Actually I got some news I have been keeping to myself for a week. Me and Stanley are officially dating.", Branch replies honestly and happily.

In that moment Poppy's world stopped moving! His heart breaks into a million pieces as he froze in place! Branch's voice eco's in his mind. The word "Dating" eco's in his mind like a heavy weight just hit him! He couldn't believe it!

"Poppy?Poppy? Are you listening? Hey! Snap Out Of It!", Branch says annoyed.

Poppy snaps back to reality but, tries to act as normal as possible! He is trying to pretend that nothing is wrong. A fake smile appears on his face masking his broken heart.

" Oh...that's - that's great... I'm so... happy for you...", Poppy says forcing the words.

"Thanks. It's a lot to me to have your support. ", Branch replies happily.

Inside of Poppy he feels very jealous! Of course Stanley would ask Branch out! She is the most beautiful and amazing woman in all of Trollstopia! Poppy should had asked her out himself sooner... What chance did he have with Branch? He's not as cool as Stanley...

Then Poppy's regret and jealousy is slowly replaced with worry as he remembers something about Stanley. Stanley has a bit of a small reputation for being a player and possible cheater but, nobody ever had proof that Stanley actually cheated on his ex - girlfriends other than dismissed claims by a few of them.

What if Stanley hurts Branch? What if he cheats on her and breaks her heart? Poppy didn't want to be the guy to stomp all over on the chance of Branch being happier but, at the same time he didn't want to see her get hurt...

Five days has passed since Branch had announced her relationship status. Branch and Stanley are having a picnic. Stanley feeds her poptart romantically. Branch is in the honeymoon phase but, Stanley's honeymoon phase never came. To him Branch was just another girl but, he wasn't going to tell her that now. They are having fun.

Meanwhile,Poppy is sitting by himself in the children's Story pod waiting for them to arrive. His pink colours are more grey than bright. He looks at Stanley's latest posts on Introllgram on his phone. It is a bunch of selfies of him and Branch cuddling and kissing. It breaks Poppy's heart and sparks more jealousy in him to see Branch with someone who wasn't him but, what is he purpose to do? All he can do is support Branch no matter how much it hurts him. The king let's out a depressing sigh to himself as his ears drop a little.

" Does he love you better than I can?
And there's a big black sky over my town
I know where you're at,I bet he's around...", Poppy sings softly and heartbroken.

Seven weeks later, Branch is walking happily to Stanley's apartment. It is night. Branch hadn't seen Poppy or in weeks but, everyone else had just told her he was just busy rather than tell her the truth. She honestly became worried about him but,everyone blocked her from checking up on him. Branch is completely unaware that Poppy had turned grey! She goes inside her boyfriend's apartment but, once she was Branch was greeted by heartbreaking sight!

Stanley is kissing another woman right in front of her! Branch's hands turn into fists and anger forms inside her directed at Stanley! How dare he cheat on her? Was their relationship nothing to him? Who the hell is that girl he's cheating on her with?

" YOUR CHEATING ON ME?!WHO THE HELL IS SHE?!", Branch yells angrily.

Stanley and his new girlfriend break the kiss then turn to the furious Branch. Stanley rolls his eyes at her as his new girlfriend hugs his arm sticking her tongue out at Branch. Branch's eyes just narrow with a glare that made the new girlfriend regret her actions quickly.

" Branch, this is Mitch and we're over! I found a prettier face than yours. Did you really think I would stay with you?", Stanley says rudely.

Stanley's words suddenly cut Branch like knife. Tears start to fill her eyes as she ran out of the apartment heartbroken! It hurt her to see Stanley with another girl but,breaking up with like that increased it.

A moment later in Poppy's pod. Poppy is completely grey as he hides in his pod with the lights off. He was trying to sleep but, couldn't. His phone sitting on the nightstand makes a small ding getting his attention. The grey troll quickly turns on the light then checks the message. To his surprise It's from Branch.

' Stanley cheated on me then broke up with me after I caught him!😩💔😟',Branch's message said.

Poppy's eyes widen in shock,fear and anger all at the same time! One of his fears had come true. Despite how depressed he was been he couldn't allow himself to leave the troll he loved like this! She needed him... The king immediately starts texting back. He didn't care about how he was afraid of her seeing him like this anymore. She matters more to him than the world itself.

When Branch came over she was shocked to see Poppy grey! It broke her heart more to see him like that than anything else. She immediately started focusing on him rather than herself.

"Poppy, why are you grey?", Branch asks softly and worried.

" It's nothing... I'm okay.",Poppy lies.

Branch wasn't convinced with his answer. A long time ago she was grey for twenty years! She knows more about this than anyone else. The female troll is just about to say something when Poppy beats her to the punch.

" How long has Stanley been cheating on you?", Poppy asks softly and worried.

" I don't know. He just was...", Branch replies honestly and sadly.

Poppy hugs Branch for the first time in weeks without question. Branch hugs him back. They both missed this. Poppy talks softly and comfortingly into Branch's ear with his heart speaking for him.

" He doesn't deserve you. Your the most important and wonderful person in my life and nothing will change that. You deserve better than Stanley. You deserve to be happy and loved.", Poppy confesses lovingly,softly and comfortingly.

" You deserve that more than I do. I can't imagine my life without you. Whoever made you grey doesn't deserve you. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you for the past seven weeks. I'll never leave you or change you. ", Branch confesses softly,lovingly and comfortingly.

Both trolls are so caught up in the moment. Their hearts flatter softly and happily. They had completely forgetten about the rest of the world. Then Branch and Poppy break the hug and gaze into each other's eyes.

" I love you,Branch...",Poppy confesses.

" I love you too,Poppy...", Branch confesses.

Then the two trolls lean forward til their lips touch and their eyes close. They share a magical and loving first kiss completely forgetten about their pain. Poppy's colours magically come back glowing bright. Nothing can spoil this moment of true love.
