Fairytale AU/Strange Magic AU

Princess D,Sugar Plum and Robin have taken Poppy out of Trollstopia. Poppy is confused as they lead him. He didn't know where they are taking him but, what he did know is that apparently it is important. Poppy looked around at the environment. It was familiar.

" Where are we going?", Poppy asks confused.

" You will know soon. We are almost there. ", Prince D  says honestly.

Then before Poppy can say anything he notices Branch's bunker. They all stopped near the doormat which still says "GO AWAY" on it. Poppy looks at it surprised to be here. Why did they bring him here? What did they want to show him?

" Go ahead,Poppy. You the only one who knows how to get in. ",Princess D says calmly.

Poppy did his magic quickly and easily without a second thought. He knows the different tricks for the doormat. Branch had been allowing him to go into her bunker after the 'Love Potion' incident. He had learnt fast to unlock the doormat from just watching her do it a couple times.

Then the three women brought the Prince deep into the bunker to Branch's bedroom. Branch isn't home for obvious reasons. She is at the court mushroom with Rockie. Poppy stares at the door confused since he didn't understand why of all places he has been brought to Branch's bedroom? He never went in there. Princess D opens the door then turns to her friend.

" There is things in there you need to see... ", Princess D says softly.

Poppy didn't understand what she meant fully but, he goes in anyway leaving the women still at the door. Branch's room is bigger than he thought it would be. Her bed is big like Poppy's bed. More than one person could sleep there comfortably. The blanket is grey and the pillows are white. There is an nightstand on each side of the bed. There are also an desk, mirror, bathroom, few strange closed curtains, picture frames, a small TV and other stuff. Poppy never thought her bedroom would look like this.

" Branch cares about you more than you ever knew...", Princess D says calmly as she walks in.

Poppy looks at an old framed picture of him and Branch which is next to a picture of Branch and Rockie at the Valentine's Day festival. It was of them when they were teenagers. Branch is holding an present in her hands with a surprised expression as he has arm around her posing for the picture. This photo was taken on Branch's sixteenth birthday. She didn't have a Sweet Sixteen party like all the other girls did so he surprised her with a small surprise Sweet Sixteen party that night.

It was meant to be bigger and more fancy but, a bunch of things went wrong by the time Branch came. She actually liked that it became more simple and that there weren't hundreds of trolls who she didn't even know or hated. Sure she didn't have a family to be there or a father to dance with or the fancy gown but, Branch actually was more content with what she had that night.

' She kept the photo? Why does she have more pictures of her and me than anyone else? There are only one of her and Rockie... ',Poppy thought to himself.

Then Poppy notices something sticking out of one the brown curtains. Sugar Plum flies into the room over to the same curtains. She knew what was behind it cause of Princess D and she knew Poppy will recognize his own creations. Without saying a word Sugar Plum pulls one side of the curtain open causing every single invitation Poppy gave Branch fall and slide onto the floor. None were broken and looked as good as the day they were made.

Poppy's eyes widen as an old invitation lands at his foot. There is stunned look on his face. He could believe what he was seeing! Branch kept them? All of them? And the ones she destoryed are not broken? Poppy slowly picks up the one invitation that landed at his foot. It was the invitation from two months ago.

" She kept them...", Poppy says to himself quietly and in disbelief.

Then Robin put a open box that was hiding in the corner on the bed. There were old pictures in frames, a lot of DVDs and a poetry journal and diary that weren't meant to be there. The DVDs and frames are sitting neatly and orderly in the box the journals weren't and seemed to have fallen in there by mistake.

" I don't want to know what you find in these locked books but, I think you will find your final answer in them. The keys are in the nightstand drew. ", Robin says honestly.

Then all three women left Poppy alone who was silent and wasn't sure if he even wanted to take a peek in the books. Poppy got the impression that they were something very personal but, yet a part of them did wonder what he see in them. The pink troll just stood staring at the box for a moment debating whether he should go digging in Branch's belongings or not.

Poppy then slowly walked over to box still unsure about it. He notices the simple covers on both of them and locks. He also sees an very old picture of Branch and her family that was taken many years ago along with the Romantic movies. Honestly the Prince never thought of her being into those kind of movies.

" Looks like I'm doing this...", Poppy says to himself.

He gets the two very small keys out from the draw then picks up the personal journal. After he hesitantly unlocked it Poppy opened it to a random page. To his surprise it was all about how lonely she was. It broke his heart to see how alone she felt and to see all the emotions she hid from him reveal themselves but, then when he saw the next few pages he was taken back! Branch had wrote her thoughts about him!

" There are things I can't tell him but, I wish I could. That every night he appears in my dreams then after I wake up he still stays in my mind. Never leaving me alone. He probably would never understand what I feel or mean but, should I tell him after all these years? He's the only troll who never gave up on me even know I was a jerk to him more than once. I never wanted to hurt him but, I feel like I can't let anyone in yet somehow he got in.

He's always giving invitations that make me feel special. Always trying to make me smile and thinks a lot more of me than I actully do. I can't see the nice things he sees when I look in mirror. What is so great about me that he thinks I deserve to have such a amazing guy like him in my life? He means more to me than I like to admit and I can't see myself living in a world without him in it.

He's so sweet,kind,selfless,caring, handsome and everything else that is the opposite of me. We are so different but, I love that about him. Sure sometimes he is stupid,annoys the heck out of me and can make me wanna kill him for almost getting himself KILLED! But,nobody else can make me feel both loved and hurt me so easily. I fell in love with him...

I love you,Poppy...", Poppy reads in his mind with Branch's voice.

The Pop Prince's heart skips a beat in awe as it flatters in his chest. In that moment everything he felt about Branch just clicked. It was like a wave of emotion is washing over him. A soft and truly loving look can be in his eyes.

" I love you too...", Poppy says quietly to himself without thinking.

Meanwhile at the court mushroom during that exact moment... Branch is standing outside waiting for Poppy to come. She is wearing a brand new white and gold dress with a pink flower pattern. It has a V neckline,no sleeves and a Tulle skirt. Biggie had given her the dress to wear since she didn't get a chance for wedding dress shopping.

" Poppy,where are you?", Branch whispers sadly to herself.

Rockie walks out from the mushroom a bit tired of waiting for her. They would had got married already if she hadn't insisted in waiting for Poppy. They have enough trolls here to be their witnesses for their marriage. Branch doesn't even move to look at her soon to be husband as he stands a few feet away behind her.

"Babe,he's not coming...Let's just get married and you tell him about it later.", Rockie says.

" But, he has to be here... What your best friend? Don't you want her to make it here in time too?", Branch says softly.

Rockie let's out a small sigh to himself. He has been waiting for Alex like how Branch has been wanting for Poppy. Before he got love Potioned he was planning to finally ask her out and tell her that he was in love with her. He really wanted her support for his marriage.

" Okay... I'll go tell to the troll marrying us to wait some more.",Rockie replies.

Several minutes later,Branch's ears drop as she let's out a sad and disappointed sigh. The bride walks into the mushroom straight to the marriage court room. A moment later Rockie walks out looking for his bride but, to his surprise she wasn't here.

"Babe? Branch? ", Rockie calls out confused looking around for her.

Rockie goes to check the left side of the very large mushroom but, suddenly her is grabbed by pink and dark green hair which pulls him away behind the mushroom! Rockie let's out a startled scream as he is taken away in a ball of hair! Then he is quickly released by it landing on the ground!

"Ahh!",Rockie screams startled.

Then Rockie looked up to see Poppy,Sugar Pum,Robin,Princess D and his best friend,Alex. Alex has dark green hair,dull grey skin, blue nose and redish pink eyes. She is wearing a Jean skirt, skull earrings and black tank top. She is as tall as Poppy.

" What the hell is - ", Rockie says in anger but, gets cut off by Alex.

Alex grabs him by the shirt and pulls him up slamming her lips against his! The first few seconds Rockie is shocked by the action but, then melts into it slowly closing his eyes. He kisses back as the magic starts fading away losing all of it's power.

Robin crosses her arms happy to see the cure in action and working. Alex then pulls away from Rockie still holding him by his shirt. Rockie's eyes had went back to normal. The male Rock Troll looks at her in a goofy dizzy then it becomes dumbfounded.

" I fricking love you,you idiot. ", Alex admits.

" I love you too...", Rockie manages to say.

"Good! Cause there is no way I am letting you marry that - ", Alex says happily and seriously but, gets cut off by Poppy.

" She has a name and it's Branch. ", Poppy says unhappily and seriously.

Poppy knew what Alex was gonna say and disagrees with her. Alex smiles at Rockie then let's him go allowing to stand on his own. He isn't sure what is going on for a moment then remembers that he is getting hitched today to Branch.

" Oh My God! I can't get hitched today! Maybe someone can give her a note for me. ", Rockie says freaking out.

" NO!", everyone else yells seriously.

" That will only hurt her and make her cry,you stupid inconsiderate - !",Poppy yells angrily but, gets cut by Alex.

" Hey! That's my idiot! Sure he's very stupid sometimes when he freaks out but, still. ",Alex yells angrily.

" Everyone chill. As long as he follows Sugar Plum's plan then everything will be fine.", Princess D says calmly.

" Who's Sugar Plum?", Rockie asks completely lost.
