Millie walks into the break room of the Veterinarian. She has an cup of coffee in one of her hands. The vet sees one of her co - workers watching a video on her smartphone. Millie innocently smiles at her co - workers.

"Hi Candy.", Millie greets softly.

Candy turns her head to Millie and smiles.

" Hi Millie. I found a few new posts. Wanna see?",Candy says.

Millie walks over to Candy and looks at the smartphone screen. She sees an woman with a fully grown dog and two men.

In the video; Smidge pets June,the dog, as Branch looks at Poppy while he records.

"Hi Everybody! ", Poppy greets happily.

Branch waves at the phone as Smidge walks a little closer to Poppy. Then June tries to jump on the couch near him.

" Hey!",Smidge greets happily.

Poppy turns the camera around walks over to June. June happily barks at Poppy then tries to sniff the smartphone.

"Today we are taking this guy to the vet. ", Poppy says happily.

June gets a little scared at the mention of the vet. He jumps off the couch to Branch and nuzzle his head against Branch's legs as he whimpers scared. The last vet hurt him a little with the injection. Branch gets on her knees and comfortingly pets his head.

" Don't worry,June. We are not taking you to Mr Green.",Branch assures.

Poppy's hand rubs June's back as he speaks.

"She is right, Buddy.",Poppy says.

Smidge takes the phone from Poppy. He turns the phone around so everyone can see Poppy and Branch with June. Then June turns and jumps onto Smidge.

" Ahh!",Smidge screams as he falls backwards.

The video ends as a result.

Millie let's out a small amused laugh. She finds the video funny and adorable. Millie loves animals and how the dog behaved is so adorable to her. Candy finds the video adorable too.

"That dog is adorable.", Candy comments.

Later that day,Millie is in her office. Gristlette stands next to the vet looking at her dog. Millie happily gives the dog a treat for being so well behaved.

" This cutie is fine. ",Millie says softly to Gristlette.

Gristlette thanks Millie then leaves with her pet. Millie smiles happily at the dog. She loves her job. A man suddenly knocks on the open door with a clipboard in his one hand.

" Millie, Biggie and Mrs Dinkles had moved their appointment to tomorrow and your three O Clock has came early. ", the man says.

Millie nods her head to her co - worker. The man walks away. The vet puts her hands into her pockets. She walks out her office to the front desk. To her surprise; she sees Branch,Poppy and Smidge sitting on the chairs with June sitting in front of Branch. Millie smiles at them happily. She walks up to friendly.

" Hi,I'm Dr Millie Moss and you must be my early three o Clock.",Millie says friendly.

Smidge stares at the vet in awe by her beauty. His palms get sweaty,his cheeks become a little red,a goofy "in love" smile spreads across his face and his heart skips a beat. The rest of the world fades away and all he can see is Millie. She is the most beautiful woman he ever saw!

Branch and Poppy stands up and introduce themselves. Smidge is too busy admiring Millie to notice what is going on around him. June gets up and sniffs Millie. The veteran giggles at the dog then gets on one knee in front of June. She gently pets the dog's head.

"Let me guess. This cutie is June.", Millie says softly and happily.

June's tail starts waging happily. He let's out a happy bark telling the woman " Yes". June likes her already and get good vibes from her. All the animals Millie takes care of shine to her fast.

" How do you know his name? ",Branch asks confused.

Millie brings her attention back to Branch. She stands back up happily. The veteran remembers that it is the first time they had come here.

" Oh a friend showed me a video of you all together earlier. She's goes online a lot more than me.",Millie explains softly and honestly.

Branch nods her head understanding now. Poppy did record a video earlier and posted it. He couldn't help himself. Soon Branch,Millie and June walk away to Millie's work room. Smidge is still stuck in his daze even know Millie had left. Poppy tries to snap him out of it.

" smidge? Smidge. Smidge. Earth To Smidge. SMIDGE SNAP OUT OF IT!",Poppy says slowly increasing his volume.

Then Smidge comes back to reality confused. He notices that Millie,Branch and June are gone. He looks at his friend standing in front of him confused. What happened? How long was he gone?

"What's going on? How long was I gone?", Smidge asks confused.

" Millie took June to do his checkup and Branch went with them. You were stuck in your daze for twenty minutes. ",Poppy explains.

Smidge is surprised by what he is told! He doesn't understand why he got stuck in a daze. Maybe Millie is messing with him. What's the big idea messing with him? They just met!

" Oh that vet must had been messing with me...",Smidge comments.

Smidge confuses Poppy with his comment. How could she be messing with Smidge while she was talking to him and Branch? It didn't make any sense.

"What you mean? We only met her twenty minutes ago...", Poppy says confused.

Smidge gets off the chair he was sitting on. Poppy just watches him watch make a few steps pass him then turns around. Smidge starts listing why he thinks Millie could be messing with him.

" When I first saw her my heart skips a beat, my palms start sweating,my cheeks feel warmer,I automatically felt like smiling,the world disappeared and all I could see was just her for twenty minutes straight...", Smidge lists.

Poppy let's out a chuckle at Smidge's list. Now everything makes sense. Millie wasn't messing with him. Smidge just experienced Love At First Sight. He had clearly started crushing on Millie Moss. Poppy smiles at his friend while shaking his head playfully.

"She's not messing with you,Smidge... All that stuff happened cause you now have a crush on her. Clearly 'Love At First Sight'...", Poppy explains teasingly.

Smidge makes the understanding and realizing "Oh..." face. Now everything makes more sense to him. It's no wonder to him anymore why he did what he did.

" OOooh...",Smidge says.

A while later; Millie, Branch and June come back. They walk over to Poppy and Smidge. Branch holds June's leash as he walks around happily. Millie was gentle and caring to him. She gave him a tasty treat too for behaving. Millie talks to Branch about June. Smidge looks at Poppy unsure as Poppy tilts his head slightly towards Millie. He is telling Smidge to talk to Millie.

"If you have any important questions later on just call the front desk. I work from Monday to Friday.", Millie says softly.

" Okay, I will.",Branch replies.

Then the veteran says "Good Bye" and leaves quickly just as Smidge was about to say something to her. He had took too long. The short man let's out a sad sigh quietly to himself.

A month passes and it is time to take June to see Dr Millie Moss again. Smidge is at Branch and Poppy's apartment. The dating couple live together. Smidge is only there to get June. He wants to take him to Millie Moss for Branch so he'll finally have a good reason to go see Millie. Branch and Poppy are sitting on their couch. June stands next to Smidge as he holds the leash.

"No,No,No... I insist. You two just relax here while I take June. I really don't mind...",Smidge says happily.

Branch looks at Smidge confused by his sudden behavior. She raises an eyebrow at him. What's going on with him? Poppy just puts an arm around her shoulders and smiles. He knows what is going on.

" Smidge, why are you acting strange? ",Branch asks.

" I'm not acting strange! Bye. ", Smidge says nervous.

Then he quickly leaves the apartment with June. Branch looks at her boyfriend. She has a feeling Poppy knows something.

" What's his problem?",Branch says.

Soon Smidge and June walks slowly into the Veterinary. Smidge is nervous about talking to Millie. He walks over to the front desk. Smidge quickly tells the man about the appointment with Dr Millie Moss then the man walks away to in form her.

"I can do this. I can do this. I can do this.", Smidge says quietly to himself.

June just looks at Smidge confused. Then the dog sniffs the man and he smells nervousness and fear? June didn't understand why Smidge was feeling this way but, he tries to comfort him by nuzzling his head against him. Smidge looks at the dog and smiles as he realizes what June is trying to do.

" Thanks boy...",Smidge says softly.

He pets June's head gently. Millie walks into the room. To her surprise she sees June with Smidge. She was expecting Branch to be here. The veteran walks over to them.

" Hi? Sorry,I didn't get your name last time. ",Millie says honestly.

" Smidge... ", Smidge replies a little nervous.

Millie smiles at Smidge softly and nods her head. She notices how handsome Smidge is and blushes slightly. She didn't notice it before when he was here last time. She was more focused on June at the time.

" It's nice to see you again, Smidge. Please follow me.",Smidge says softly.

Smidge smiles up at her happily and nods his head. This going well so far. Then Smidge,June and Millie walk to the checkup room. Once they are in the room Smidge tries to talk with the veteran as she gives June his checkup. June sits on the table bed.

"So how long have you been a veteran?", Smidge asks curious.

"So far five years.",Millie says softly.

Millie checks June's eyes with her light tool. They seem to be in good condition. She quickly turns off the light. June blinks a few times.

" Did you always wanted to be one?",Smidge asks.

" Pretty much. I have loved taking care of animals since I was a little girl... ",Millie admits.

The vet puts the tool into her coat pocket.

" What about you? What do you do for living? ",Millie asks.

Smidge looks up at Millie. She is taller than him by more than a few inches. Smidge honestly didn't mind it. He thinks for a moment as she smiles at him.

" Well... I mainly work at a gym but, during skout berry season I sell my own juice at the market.", Smidge replies.

Soon the checkup is over. Smidge and Millie laugh at a joke as they leave the room with June. Sparks are flying between them. Smidge gets the courage to ask Millie for her number. They quickly exchange phone numbers.

"I guess I'll talk to you again soon.", Smidge says.

Millie smiles softly at Smidge then giggles softly. Something about him makes him so cute to her. He seems different from the other guys she met before.

" I hope so. ",Millie says gently and happily.

Smidge nods his head while smiling. Then he checks the time on his watch. It is time to take June back to Branch and Poppy. The short man looks back at the taller woman.

" I should go. Have a good day,Millie. ",Smidge says softly.

" Thankyou Smidge. I hope the same for you too. Tell Branch and Poppy I said "Hi " and that June is in good health for me. ",Millie replies.

Smidge nods his head implying that he will do so. They both would like to talk a little longer but, the two knew they both have stuff to do. Millie and Smidge say " Good bye " to each other then at the door they wave to each other before Smidge and June left. After the door closed behind them, Smidge let's out lovestruck sigh turning into a goofy and cute "In love" grin. He then turns his head to June and starts pointing to his face as June looks up at him.

"You see this face? It's a happy one.",Smidge says happily and softly.

Then Smidge picks up June with one arm happily. He has a smile on his face and a pep in his step now.

" Come on. Let's take you home... ", Smidge says happily as he starts walking to his car.
