Fairytale AU

Prince Poppslot rides on his white horse through the forest dressed in his casual clothes:blue shorts with a strap and bandana. He has hot pink hair,light pink skin,hot pink nose and eyes. The 14 year old needed a little break from all his prince duties. Then the he finds a area he never adventured in before.

While feeling adventurous Poppslot motions for his horse to move forward. The horse walks slowly through the vines and into a big wide but,not long cave. The prince can easily see the wide opening at the other side. Then he gets off his horse and walks forward with his horse beside him. As they step into the light they are welcomed by a beautiful scene. The clearing has a waterfall, large fruit trees by the surrounding large cliffs,many flowers around and by the trees but, also an odd tower,that a troll can live in, in the middle and a big garden of vegetables by the left side cliff in a near a few trees...The tower and garden stands out! The tower especially!

Poppslot's horse starts eating the green grass. Poppslot walks closer to the tower. He walks around the tower from the left in search of a door. He finds the door to the tower on the right side. He knocks but, nothing happens. As he tries to open it didn't budge. It is locked!Then the pink troll walks to the front of the tower.

"HELLO! ANYBODY!", he shouts.

He hears something drop!Then he hears nothing but, silence from the tower. Are they hiding? Did he scare them?

" I KNOW THAT SOMEBODY IS IN THERE SO PLEASE COME OUT! I'M NOT GONNA HURT YOU!",he shouts again.

"Quit Shouting! I Can Hear You Just Fine!My Ears Are Sensitive!", A female's voice yells back at him angrily.

" SORRY!I mean,Sorry!",he replies.

The pink prince takes a few steps backwards so he can have a clear view of the balcony. Then a female troll pulls both window frame doors open enough for her to walk through. He still couldn't see her properly since she is standing in the dark. She lets go of the doors and steps into the light while pulling a frying pan from her hair. She gets as to the end of the balcony and leans forward onto the railing with her arms folded across her chest and the kitchen ware still tight in her dominant hand. The sunlight shining on her makes most of her appearance clear to see.

She is looks to be in her teenage years and has grey skin,long black hair that drags on the floor and short bangs and dark purple nose. He couldn't see her eyes. She wears a light brown patchy skirt and tank top made of two dull red rose petals. The Prince had never saw a grey troll before! He never met a troll who was so unhappy that they became grey! The pretty unknown troll stares at him with curious but,untrusting eyes.

"Who are you? Why are you here? Trolls from the village don't usually come out this far in the forest...", she says untrusting.

The prince was surprised by her manner of speaking...Nobody had ever talked to him like that before! The Prince knew everybody he meet's name but,not this troll. She must not be from the village... But, where did she come from and why did she live far away from troll society? Maybe she will be more trusting if she knew who he is. A new friend to make!

" I'm Prince Poppslot of the Pop Kingdom. My close friends and family call me "Poppy" for short.",he introduces himself.

"I was just exploring...",he explains.

"What's your name? Why do you live all the way out here?", Poppslot asks.

" 1 - It's Repuzztroll and 2 - None of your business!," she answers.

Repuzztroll wasn't her real name but, for years she had gone by that name...It was Branch. Nobody had called her by her real name in years but,she never forgotten her real name. She didn't trust strangers for many reasons so she didn't plan on telling the Prince her real name anytime soon. She didn't care if he is a prince or not!

"Like the Fairytale story?Your basically are the living Repuzztroll!All that is missing is the witch or a troll claiming to be your mother", Poppslot jokes.

Repuzztroll rolls her eyes as Poppslot laughs at his own joke. She wasn't in the mood for jokes right now.

Then eight years later...Ever since the pink ,recently crowned,king met the grey troll he had been visiting her tower lot. The day he met her he had made a promise to himself that he would make her happy again,get her out of that tower and bring her back to the Pop kingdom. He had later on found out she used to live there for a short time before but,had ran away. Most of the visits were just him inviting her to the events of the Pop kingdom,like his coronation.

He was very disappointed when he visited her a few hours before it started hoping she would come but, found her very sick. She even honestly admitted she would had liked to go. It was straight out bad luck! She wanted to go but, couldn't! Poppslot had took care of her for little while before going back to get ready for his coronation.

She rejected all his invitations and sometimes broke them but, Poppslot never gave up on her!He knew if he keeps on trying she will one day be happy again. The king truly believes that everybody deserves to be happy and sometimes you just need someone to help you find it. Every time he came he always finds her still in her tower.

" Repuzztroll,Repuzztroll let down your hair!",the King jokes.

"Your never gonna stop doing that,are you?", Repuzztroll says grumpy on her balcony.

She is wearing a brown patchy dress with a leaf vest. The sky got a lot cloudier fast. Repuzztroll notices the weather. She knew it was about to start raining.

" It's gonna rain,Poppslot. I'll let you in only until it is stops raining and you can travel back safely. And like i said before don't expect this to happen every time you visit me...",she told him.

After she had closed her balcony doors and let him and his horse get inside,Repuzztroll locks all of the many locks on the door as the rain poured outside. The horse stays on the bottom of the tower in a empty storage section with a blanket,food and water. The two trolls walk up the stairs build into the wall that goes up 10 troll feet and stops at the evaluator.

They get onto the evaluator it raises up. Poppy sees the built in storage section on the left side to them. He is amazed by all this work done. Soon they enter the tower's top section. Poppy was more amazed by how Repuzztroll's place looks so big inside. After Repuzztroll tells him where bathroom was,Poppslot went to it to take off his suit of armor. After his armor was off and put away in the bathroom closet, he was just in his casual clothes which were hidden by metal suit : blue shorts with green at the bottom, blue vest and a green and blue headband.

He explores Repuzztroll's tower as he looks for her. She wasn't in the kitchen or the sitting room. Then he walks up the stairs and sees her in the room in front of him,her bedroom. She sits on her bed brushing her very long black hair little by little. He smiles at how beautiful she looks while doing the simple but,difficult action. Poppslot walks into the bedroom and sits next to her.

Repuzztroll allows him to brush her hair after a few minutes of convincing. The pink troll puts some of the black hair on his lap and brushes it. Then he notices the drawings on the walls while still brushing Repuzztroll's hair.

He looks straight at the big and newest one of lanterns floating in the sky as a small figure,that looks like Repuzztroll, watches. The lanterns a lot like the festival of Love lanterns and plus it's the only holiday where the Pop kingdom releases lanterns.

"That's the Love Fest lanterns . It's in two days. We celebrate the different types of love and to help us remember how love is important to have in your life. I actually have your invitation.", Poppslot says.

Repuzztroll looks at at the drawing then to the king. Every year she would watch the lanterns float beautifully in the sky. She always wanted to see them up close but, Repuzztroll was too scared that bad things will happen if she goes out to see them.

The pink troll stops brushing the black hair and puts the brush down on top of the hair. Then he pulls out the invitation and holds it in front of her. It pops open revealing a little Poppslot and Repuzztroll standing together surrounded by lanterns in the middle with the words " Love Fest!" above their heads. She looks at the invitation then into the king's pink eyes with her blue eyes.

He always made Repuzztroll's invitations special. She never told him but, she secretly fixed the ones she broke and keeps every single invitation he gave her over the years. Repuzztroll felt like she was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

"You should come! It's your dream to see them,right?", Poppslot says cheerful.

"It is but,I don't know if I should...," Repuzztroll replies unsure.

"How about a deal? I will take you to the festival to see the lanterns but, you must give Pop Kingdom a second chance. I will be with you the whole time. If you decide that you don't like it there and want to go home then I'll take you back as soon as I can but,if you do like it there then you must at least think about rejoining Pop Kingdom...", Poppslot suggests.

"I'm not sure about this...", Repuzztroll says still unsure.

"Trust me...It will be fun and things won't be the same as you remember them to be in the past. What do you say?", Poppslot says encouraging.

"As long you keep your promise or else I will walk back here myself before you can say 'Hug Time'...", Repuzztroll says serious.

" Then it's a deal.", Repuzztroll says happily.

"Deal.", Poppslot happily agrees.

They both smile at each other happily as they shake each others hand to seal the agreement. Their going to Love Fest!
