"The next few days,I woke up in the hospital. I was lucky to survive. When I saw my grandpa there were tears of joy in his eyes...", Branch narrates.

Branch slowly wakes up in an hospital bed. Her leg,shoulder,arm and forehead are bandaged. Her black eye has became normal. She looks around the room confused. Rosiepuff gasps at the sight of her waking up with tears of joy in his eyes. He stands in the doorway. Branch notices him

" Grandpa? ",Branch says softly sitting up but, has some trouble doing so.

Rosiepuff runs over to her and helps her sit up nicely. Then he hugs her happily still crying. He was afraid that he had lost her! He felt guilty cause to him it was all his fault. Branch hugs him back.

" I'm so happy to see that your alive and okay! When I got the call I was afraid I had lost you! I'm so sorry that I didn't try hard enough to protect you from Terence...",Rosiepuff says emotional while hugging Branch.

" I was badly injured and couldn't walk. I was told I had to stay in the hospital for a very long time. Grandpa wasn't the only one who would visit me. I was also placed into the police witness protection program. A detective was on my case and she was determined to make sure I got justice... ",Branch narrates.

Branch sits in her hospital bed watching TV. Rosiepuff sits next to her bed reading something. A woman wearing a power suit knocks on the door getting the family's attention. She walks to as she introduces herself.

" Hello. I am Detective Randa Banks and I'm here to talk about your case. I know that it might hard to talk about this cause of your trauma but,it's important we discuss it ASAP... ",the woman says trying to be as sensitive as possible.

Branch just looks at Randa quietly as her Grandpa talks to her. She honestly didn't feel like talking about Terence. Her relationship was a big mistake and everything was just bad memories. Then Rosiepuff leaves the room because, the detective wanted to talk to Branch alone.

" Let's start in the beginning of time of the crime. What happened that night you were attacked?",Randa says trying to be sensitive softly.

Branch just looks at her unsure about this. Randa let's out a sad sigh. She had a feeling Branch might not want to talk. The woman looks at Branch as she reassures her that she is here to help and will listen to her story with an open mind.

" Over time I told her everything. From day one of meeting Terence to the night he attempted rape and attempted to kill me... I even told her Terence's private information to help her track him down. I felt a little better after I got everything out... She did more for me and my grandpa than anyone did before even know she didn't have to...",Branch narrates.

Months had passed and Branch's body had fully healed. The hospital had let her go back home with her grandpa. Randa Banks is close to closing Branch's case but, she still needs to find Terence and his gang too then go against them in count. The gang had runaway but, Randa is too far in case so she couldn't quit even if she wanted to take a break!

Branch and Rosiepuff sit in Randa's office. Randa walks in happy to see them. After warmly welcoming them back she sits down at her desk.

"So how are you feeling, Branch? You look great.", Randa says softly.

" I'm fine. Thanks...",Branch says softly and quietly.

Then Randa remembers something and smiles softly. She quickly grabs a piece of paper and gives it to Rosiepuff.

"What's this?", Rosiepuff asks.

" It's a entry form for a spacial program/charity that deals with victims like Branch. They provide the best therapy,care and support for abuse and trauma. Branch,they will help you to grow and mentally and emotionally heal from everything you been through. They will also provide you extra schooling to give you better a future... I wanted to give you this sooner but, I didn't have enough time to earlier... It's going to take a long time and a lot of work but, you deserve to have good and better life...",Randa says softly,caring and honestly.

A few tears fill Branch's eyes as she quickly gets up and hugs the detective.

"Thankyou...", Branch says softly.

" After Randa and the police managed to find and capture Terence and his gang we faced them in court. Terence wasn't trialed with his gang. Especially facing Terence was hard but, when he was declared guilty on every horrible thing he did to me and was sentenced to spend his whole life in jail I never felt so happy in my life...", Branch narrates.

Branch, Rosiepuff and Randa are in court. They sit at one the party tables with the lawyer Randa recommended Rosiepuff hired. Terence sits at the other table handcuffed. He glares at Branch angry. Terence is being trialed as an adult since his crimes are very serious. Then one of the people in the jury stands up.

" We the Jury declare Terence guilty on all charges.", the man says.

Terence expresses his shock and anger with only swear words. The Judge looks at Terence and his lawyer.

" Mr Adams, control your client! I sentence Terence to spend several life sentences in jail without the possibly of parole.",the Judge says seriously.

Then the Judge hits his wooden mallet on his table and ends the trial. Branch and Rosiepuff start crying tears of joy as an very angry Terence is taken away. They couldn't be happier.

" After Terence's Trial, me and my grandpa couldn't be happier. I honestly thought nothing bad could happen that year... but, then I was proven wrong...",Branch narrates.

Time has passed happily fast. The Rest of the Terrors are jail and the program charity has made a lot of progress with Branch. Branch is two months away from graduating and she is eighteen. Her grandpa gives Branch a kiss on her forehead before getting into his car.

"Drive safely.", Branch says happily.

Rosiepuff smiles at her softly.

" I will and Branch... I'm proud of you...", Rosiepuff says softly.

Branch smiles softly and happily back at him. It means a lot to her when he says that.

" Thanks grandpa. I love you...",Branch says softly.

"I love you too...", Rosiepuff replies softly.

Then Rosiepuff drives off as Branch watches him leave. There is a smile on her face. A few hours later,Branch waits for her grandpa to come home. She is feeling worried. He should be back by now. Suddenly Branch's phone rings and to her surprise it's Randa.

" Oh,hi Randa. What's up?",Branch answers.

Randa let's out a sad sigh.

" I'm really sorry,Branch... It pains to say this but, your grandfather... he was in a serious car accident... ",Randa says sadly on the phone.

Branch starts breaking down at the news.

" The news of my grandpa's car accident hit me hard... Randa quickly came over and took me to the hospital to see him. He had lost a lot of blood and seeing him in pain again... it broke my heart... Seeing him die...just broke me... ",Branch narrates.

Branch runs into the hospital room her grandpa. She gasps at seeing him in pain with tears in her eyes.

" Grandpa...",Branch says worried.

Rosiepuff opens his eyes to see Branch. He is in pain and is dying but, tries his best to show that he is okay.

"Shh!... It's okay, Branch...",Rosiepuff says softly.

" B - but, your n - not okay... ",Branch says softly and scared as she cries.

Rosiepuff's hand reaches her face and wipes one of her tears away. Later that night Rosiepuff starts dying faster with Branch still in the room. By the time doctors and nurses came it was too late... Branch breaks down worse than before! Randa stayed with her to comfort her as she sobs.

The flashback ends as Branch pauses for a moment. A few tears fall down her face as Poppy holds her in his arms. Branch leans against him accepting the comfort.

" It's okay... It's okay...", Poppy says comfortingly.

Poppy couldn't believe that his girlfriend went through all that drama and pain during High school. It broke his heart to hear it all. He felt sorry for her that life was so cruel to her. After comforting her for a while Branch stops crying.

"Feeling better?",Poppy asks sadly.

Branch nods her head then sits back up. She did feel better now. Poppy frowns sadly at Branch.

" I'm so sorry, Branch. I had no idea. I just thought that you were a bit lonely... What happened after you lost your grandpa? ",Poppy says softly and comforting.

Branch let's out a sigh. She was more than just a bit lonely during those days. She remembers very well what happened next.

" I was even more lonely than you think... Well,Randa took me in. She didn't have to but, she just did... I almost didn't go to graduation. She convinced me to go and afterwards I was glad that I did... I didn't talk much for a long but, after my grandpa's funeral Randa gave me a letter grandpa secretly wrote for me to read after he died... I guess reading it gave me some closure and I actually restarted trying to get my life back on track...",Branch explains a little emotional softly.

Poppy smiles at her then hugs her again. He thought she could use another one. Branch just let's him hug her.

"Your the strongest woman I ever met...", Poppy whispers softly into her ear honestly.

Then he places a gentle kiss on her check. In that moment he silently promised himself that he will be the boyfriend Branch deserved and to always be there for her when she needed him.
