Everyone in the Pop Village lagoon was still trying to find a way to cool off.

Barb said, "Dude, I like hot parties, but this is insane."

Prince D said, "Yeah. I'm really more of the 'cool' type."

Poppy said, "I can see that. But, even the hottest day of the year shouldn't be this hot."

Delta said, "I'll say. Lonesome Flats has had cooler droughts than this."

Luckily, Branch came with a new invention.

He said, "Ladies and gentle-Trolls, I give you...the cold blanket!"

It was sort of like an electric blanket, but with special settings that instead make it cold.

And Branch was able to make one for everyone.

Once they turned them on, it was like they had traveled to the coldest place on Earth...and they loved it.

Poppy said with a relieving sigh, "Thanks, Branch. You've saved us all."

Branch said, "Anything for my people...and you."

Poppy blushed.

Trollzart said, "I sure am glad the Techno Trolls aren't here. The heat would've killed them for sure."

Just then, everyone noticed DJ's heart glowing.

Poppy asked, "DJ, are you ok?"

DJ responded, "I'm fine, but the last time this happened, I was with..."

She then looked behind them, "Trollex?"

Trollex was coming from the distance, "DJ! Poppy! Everyone!"

Trollex looked down and saw his skin was starting to dry up.

Just then, he fell down.

He fell flat in the ground, in an area with tall grass, where you could only see the top part of his body.

The others went to him.

DJ said, "Trollex, what are you doing here?"

King Quincy came with a bottle of water, "Your skin! It's drying up! Here! Use this!"

Trollex dumped the water on his body, and he was no longer dry.

Queen Essence brought another cold blanket, "Here! Put this on quickly!"

Trollex's whole body, including his fins, was covered with the blanket.

Trollex said, "Aw, yeah. That's so much better. Thanks."

Barb then asked, "Dude, what are you doing here? I thought it was dangerous for Techno Trolls to be out in this heat."

Trollex answered, "I had no choice. Techno Reef is in danger. The corals...they're bleaching."

Everyone gasped.

Branch said, "That's bad. If the bleaching is too severe, it could kill the corals."

Trollex said, "Exactly. And the Heart of the Reef can't save us from extreme heat. Which is why I came here. I need your help to save my home before the bleaching gets there."

Everyone looked at Branch for an answer.

Branch asked, "What?"

DJ said, "Dude, you came up with these blankets. Invent another way to save the reef!"

Branch thought for a moment.

He then got an idea, "I could make these blankets waterproof and we could use them to keep the reef cool before the bleach gets there."

Everyone thought it was a good idea.

Barb asked, "Then, what are we waiting for?"

Everyone then started to race back to the shore, with Trollex sharing a ride on DJ's wooferbug.
