Outside the castle, the troupe decided to split up and ask around Techno Reef to see if anyone knew anything.

Poppy said, "We'll meet back here at Hug Time. Go, team!"

They then all went in different directions.

Poppy and Branch asked an elder blue Techno Troll, "Are you sure? Absolutely sure?"

The elder answered, "I'm sorry. I wish I could help you. But, I can't seem to remember anything about from before Lotan came to power. And I don't want to remember anything about the time he ruled over us. *Shudders*"

The elder then asked, "Why do you want to know about this?"

Poppy said, "Uhhhh...because we're doing a history scrapbook about Techno Reef."

The elder said, "Oh."

Branch said, "Ok, well, if you think of anything, even the smallest thing..."

The elder said, "Of course," and then closed her door.

Branch sarcastically said, "Well, that went perfectly."

Poppy grumbled and said, "Maybe the others are having better luck."

Barb asked a green elder, "A way to protect the reef. You know anything about it?"

The elder answered, "I wish I could help you. Truly."

Barb didn't stop there, "Come on. You gotta know something."

But, he just said, "But, I don't have any information."

Barb was frustrated.

Trollzart tried to get someone's attention, but he was too polite to stop them.

When he tried to assert himself to two Trolls sitting at a tale, he just stopped and said, "Never mind. I see you're busy."

Guy Diamond and Tiny asked a group of elders, "And it must create a gorgeous barrier around the reef. Maybe not as gorgeous as me, but close."

Tiny said, "Yeah, Daddy."

The elders just backed away slowly.

King Quincy asked an orange elder, "Please try to remember. Any way to protect Techno Reef before the Techno String?"

The elder answered, "I'm sorry. The last thing I want is to remember anything about the time King Lotan ruled over the reef. I might not have even been alive at the time, but the very thought of what happened then makes my blood run cold."

Queen Essence then said, "Alright. No more questions. Thank you anyways."

The elder said, "You're welcome...I suppose."

When he left, Prince D said, "I don't think we're doing ok so far."

Back at the palace, the troupe regrouped.

Poppy asked, "Any luck?"

Smidge said, "I got nothing so far."

Prince D said, "Us neither."

Guy Diamond said, "I don't think my shimmering handsomeness helped the cause."

Delta said, "Sorry, y'all, but the elders don't seem to want to remember anything about Lotan or can remember anything about the time before that."

DJ Suki then said, "Actually, I believe someone mentioned something about a...library?"

Branch said, "Of course. A library is bound to have the information we need."

Poppy said, "Well then, to the library!"
