Some Techno Trolls were voyaging in the open ocean to see what lies beyond the reef.

They were about to turn back when they saw something coming towards them.

It seemed to be a shadow.

They all gasped with horror as the shadow took the form of a familiar foe.

They swam as far away as they could back to Techno Reef to warn King Trollex.

The figure just watched them and chuckled evilly as he slowly started following them.

King Trollex was sitting on his throne, trying to think of a new song.

Trollex turned to TBDB and said, "How does this look so far?"

TBDB looked at the lyrics and said, "It's nice, but I know you can come up with something better than that."

Trollex said, "Yeah. You're right."

Just then, one of the Techno guards came into the throne room, "Begging Your Majesty's pardon."

Trollex said, "You have my pardon."

The guard said, "The voyagers have returned from their expedition outside the reef."

Trollex said, "Wonderful! How was it?"

The guard made a worried look as he said, "I have the worst of news: He has returned."

Trollex and TBDB both gasped.

TBDB frantically said, "Oh no, what are we gonna do?"

Trollex thought for a moment and then knew just what to do.

He said to the guard, "Make a letter to the other kingdoms and alert them of our situation."

The guard replied, "Yes, Your Majesty."

The guard swam off to do just that.

Trollex made his way into the castle library with TBDB following.

As Trollex searched through the books, TBDB asked, "What are we looking for?"

Trollex answered, "Something to help protect Techno Reef."

Trollex then looked in a book and said, "Aha! Perfect! It may not be enough to stop him, but maybe it'll buy us some time."

TBDB asked, "What is it?"

Trollex asnwered, "Before long before he came, this spell was one of the things my ancestors used for protection."

Trollex said some magic words,

"Maikaʻi i loko o koʻu puʻuwai.

Ua hoʻolohe mai i koʻu kāhea.

E hoʻohana i ka mālamalama a me ke aloha mai loko mai e pale i ka hāʻule."

His heart then began to glow, and as it glowed, a magic barrier surrounded the whole reef.

Trollex said, "That should be enough...for now."

TBDB asked, "But, how long will it last?"

Trollex said, "I'm not sure."

TBDB said, "Maybe we should ask the other Techno Trolls for help."

But, Trollex said, "No. I don't think they can help. And besides, I don't want to create a panic. We just have to hope that once the other leaders get here, we can come up with a way to stop him."

Outside the reef, in the open ocean, the same shadow had appeared.

He growled with anger as he saw that he could not enter the reef with the magic barrier.

But, he knew that it would not last forever and that he only had to wait.
