That night, everyone was in their tents.

However, Branch was a little suspicious about what kind of treasure hunt they were on.

He decided to sneak into Peppy's tent to take a look at the map.

However, once he went into the tent, he saw no one was inside.

He then saw the map.

However, before he could walk over to it...

"What are you doing in here?"

It was Poppy and Barb.

Branch responded, "Poppy, look, a couple of days ago, he becomes a little obsessed with a board game about treasure hunting. The day after, he shows up claiming to have a real treasure map. Don't you think that's a little bit suspicious?"

Barb said, "I have to admit it does sound a bit weird."

Branch said, "I'm just gonna take a little peek at the map."

Poppy said, "Branch, I really don't think we should."

Barb then went to the map first.

Poppy said, "Barb, I really don't think this is a good idea."

Barb then started poking the map.

"Barb, we're not supposed to look at the map."

Barb said, "I'm not looking. I'm touching. There's no rule against that, is there?"

Branch smugly said, "No, there isn't."

He started poking it, too.

Pretty soon, Poppy was provoked, too.

Then, the map opened by itself.

Poppy snickered as she said, "Oops. You guys, it opened by itself."

They all then took a good look at the map.

However, they all made a look of surprise.

Branch asked, "Poppy? Barb?"

Poppy answered, "Yes?"

"Did you notice something familiar about this map?"

Poppy asked, "You mean, like, that it's the game board taped to a piece of paper?"

Just then...

"Do you think this is a problem?"

King Peppy was right behind them.

The crew jumped in fright and slowly backed away from him.

Once they were outside the tent, Branch shouted out, "I was right! You've gone crazy!"

Poppy said, "Branch! Dad, I wouldn't say you've gone crazy, but don't you think basing this treasure hunt on a game board is a little out of control?"

Peppy took a minute and said, "You're right, honey. It's just that I felt so alive when we started playing that game and...I guess I wished it was more than just a game."

Just then, Barb noticed something, "Uh, guys?"

Peppy said, "In a minute, Barb. I'm sorry I put you through all of this."

"Guys?"

"Barb, please. Anyways, I promise I won't go overboard like that again."

Barb shouted, "Guys!"

All went, "What?"

"Look!"

They all looked down and saw...

"Look. It's the X!"

"X marks the spot!"

"Wow! That game really is based on a real treasure hunt!"

The crew then started digging.

They finally found the treasure.

They all partied and decided to use their share as proof of a real treasure hunt.

Poppy said, "I guess there's no harm in pretending something is real."

Branch said while looking at his share, "You've said it."
