After the fashion show that Satin and Chenille participated in, Poppy, Branch, Rhythm, Blues and Holly joined Chairman Bailey, Governor Rodrigo, and Congresswoman Amelia on a tour of an important project in Trollnila.

"And over here... is our Train station!" Rodrigo declared as he stood on the train station that is called "the Golden Express".

"Ooooohhhh," The 5 Normal Trolls were impressed.

Holly looked down where the train tracks were supposed to be, but she noticed there was no tracks, "Hmm, this here is ayy trayn station, but where are thay ...err trayn traks?"

"And where's the train?" Poppy added.

"Oh, there's a train alright. And it's coming right about..." Amelia took out her golden watch as the sound of a runaway train was getting closer. Suddenly, the train tracks just magically appeared in front of the train station, leaving a trail of golden glitter and sparkles in the air, "Now."

In the exactly 30 seconds, the train slowly came into a complete stop in front of the station

"This is what we called the Golden Train!" Rodrigo said. The train is a golden bullet train, "Made out of gold that we collected when we're mining for rocks and water. We have no meaning for gold, so we used it to make the magic train."

"Everywhere the train goes, tracks just magically appeared 30 seconds ahead of time," Bailey added.

Branch was shocked, "30 seconds? Isn't that too soon to get every Troll a head start before they might get hit by a train?"

"Yeah, we know," Amelia nodded, "But we have special routes for the train to go. Every place in Harmonious Land has one for the Trolls to stay alert where the train might be going with getting themselves off the train's tracks."

"The train didn't just take Trolls one place to another, it's is also a delivery train," Rodrigo informed

"Ooh, what does this train deliver?" The Queen of Pop inquired.

"Anything! Care packages, mail, even this delicious cake!" Bailey pointed to a cart of giant strawberry pink cake.

"Oooohhh!" The Normal Trolls were amazing by the looks of the cake as it already looked delicious.

"We were announced that this cake needs to be delivered perfectly on a young Troll's birthday on time, and nothing's faster to deliver a perfect cake than the Golden Train itself," the Governor chuckled confidentially.

Just then, a Magic Pop Troll with a baker's hat appeared behind the cake, and reported, "Umm, Governor Rodrigo, we have a problem. Due to their delicate nature, this cake only lasts an hour once they're exposed to natural air!"

In confusion, Rodrigo asked "Sure. So?"

Then, a Magic Funk Troll piped in while exiting the train, "Well, as the descendant of the designers of the Golden Train with a couple of more engineers I hired, we can assure you, it can't make it to the birthday party in an hour."

"Whoa, whoa. Guys, come on, we need to deliver this birthday cake on a Troll's birthday party. Isn't there anything we can do?" Bailey questioned worryingly.

"Umm, Chairman Bailey, Governor Rodrigo, we're not exactly working for you to build this train, but is it alright if we volunteered to spend our time trying to make the train go faster?" Rhythm asked.

"And we would be delighted to deliver this cake on that birthday party?" Blues added.

Bailey, Rodrigo, and Amelia glanced at each other if they agreed for the Normal Trolls volunteering.

Rodrigo turned to them, "Well, I'll be happy to let you deliver the cake, but an engine upgrade? But we'd have to pull out the transmission and the brake system. It's not worth it just for some cake."

"Some cake, Rodrigo? Think about those poor children waiting for that delicious cake!" Amelia pointed.

Now, Rodrigo imagined what would happen if the cake wasn't delivered on time, and saw the sad looks on the younger Trolls' faces. He shed one tear as he said, "Let's upgrade this train!" He stepped aside to give a way for the Normal Trolls to the control room of the train, and waved an offering hand, letting them upgrade the train.

Rhythm, Blues, and Branch worked to upgrade the engine in a few hours, and soon, they were finally done. They wiped the sweat off of their foreheads.

Branch smiled and commented, "And train upgraded."

Blues gave a thumb up through the window. It's a sign that everything's upgraded.

Bailey noticed this as he shouted, "Bring in the cake!"

Three MMTs pushed a cart with the birthday cake into the kitchen area of the train, and put it into a special cupboard to hold it safely.

When everything's set, the Normal Trolls go into the control room, and ready to go.

Amelia then told them before they can go, "Just to let you know, we haven't put some upgrades on the train track routes yet. We were gonna work through the night designing the map to finish the supplemental loop d' loop route."

A Magic Techno and Magic Classical Trolls used hand car as train tracks of the supplemental route appeared ahead of them, but it stopped halfway of the loop d' loop, making the MMTs fall down to half-loop upside down.

"Wow, that's more of a loop d'," Rhythm said.

"Yeah, we already came up with that name," Rodrigo told her.

When Amelia gave a piece of paper to Poppy, the three leaders left, leaving the 5 Normal Trolls to take care of the delivery.

"Okay, we only got one hour to get this cake to the birthday party. And according to the address that congresswoman Amelia gave us, the party is at 078 Chocolate chip St, Cakezon City," Poppy explained.

"Ayn' ta get us there in thay ...uhh raheet route, we just have ta type that there address on thay ...uhh computuurr," Holly typed the address on the computer, and when she typed "enter", the monitor showed the route to their destination, and the time of arrival, "Because av the upgrade, we'll make it ta that there house in less than an hour!"

With everything set, Branch shouted, "Perfect! All aboard!" and started to turn the crank while pressing some buttons, turning the train on.

It took off, whooshing down the track, leaving a golden glitter trail behind, and the tracks magically disappeared behind them 30 second later while new tracks formed ahead of the train.

Minutes later, in the engine, Holly came up to Poppy and Branch, asking, "Hey, ya'll, maand if we slow down ayy hauurr as we go ta Smile-o smile-o? ay wanna shout ayy little woohoo frawum the choo-choo!"

"Sure, we've made an amazing time!" Branch looked at his golden watch, and reached for a lever, "I'm just gonna ease the brakes and..." he pulled the lever down, but nothing happened.

When Branch realized the brakes did not seem to work, he pulled the lever up and down a few more times before pulling too hard, making the lever snap in half, much to everyone's shock.

Branch threw the lever away nervously before turning to the girls, "Okay, not a huge deal, but it appears we were so focused on the engine upgrade, that I forgot to put back in the brake system."

"What?!" Poppy exclaimed loudly.

"It's okay! I can just pull the emergency brake," the King of Pop pointed the emergency break

"Don't touch that!" Rhythm and Blues yelled.

"According to out calculations, that would mean disaster for the cake. B can show you, she is drawing up the figures now," Rhythm stated while looking at the papers

"Yeah, the stick figures!" Blues added as she showed them her drawing. She then mimicked Branch's voice, "'I'm Branch! I'll pull the emergency break!'' The Branch figure pulled the emergency breaks with Blues made the sound effect, "Clink!" Then, the figure showed the train made a complete stop with Blues still making sound effect, Squeeeeekk!" The cake figure flew out of the window of the train figure, and fell on the ground in front of young Magic Musical Trolls, "Whooo! Splat!"

"'Ah! What a devastating birthday!'" Rhythm mimicked one young Magic Musical Troll figure.

"'I don't believe in anything anymore!'" Blues mimicked another young Magic Musical Troll figure.

They vocalized what the possible disappointed Trolls would sound like and mimicked them crying.

"Wow, that was specific," Branch commented.

Poppy then nervously stated, "Guys, come on, this is a Perfection Birthday Cake. Those young Trolls are counting on us. There's gotta be another way to stop this train!"

Holly then got an idea "Hey, ya'll, ay know how ta slow this here trayn down!"

Poppy, Branch, and Holly were on a small balcony on top of the train.

"It's hair-a-chute tahm! Watch ayn' learn, ya'll! yeehaw!" Holly climbed up onto the railings, and her hair changed into a parachute. As the parachute got bigger, it suddenly got caught in the wind, picking Holly up, as the terrified Country ambassador shouted, " Aaaahhh! ay was totally wrong, ya'll!"

Later, Poppy, Branch, Rhythm, and Blues went to the kitchen area of the train where the cake was still safely standing.

Rhythm explained, "No stress, Trolls. We'll float the cake to safety using..."

She and Blues sang in unison, "The Bubble Beam!"

Rhythm pulled out her remote, and gave it to Blues, "You do the honors, dear sister."

Blues pressed the huge button. In the blink of an eye, the Funk spaceship that the Funk Trolls used to travel to Harmonious Land appeared, and summoned its bubble beam, launching a bubble headed straight for the emergency exit door so the beam can get through to float the cake out.

However, the train was too fast, and the bubble ended up collecting a Puffalo.

Seeing that missed, Blues gave the remote back to Rhythm, "Uh, why don't you try, dear sister?"

Rhythm had a go at pressing the button, launching another bubble, as it missed and collected a bush. Seeing that this was going nowhere, Rhythm then suggested, "I know! Why don't we..."

"Do it together!" The Funk sisters said in unison as they proceeded to push the button multiple times together as it collected rocks, plants, animals, even themselves, making the funk sisters float out of the train, commented in unison, "Well, that's infuriating."

Branch then told his girlfriend, "Sorry, Poppy. But the emergency break is the only way to stop this runaway train. And I know it's hard to take me seriously when I say it that way, but still!"

"No! There's got to be another way," Poppy was too determined for that as she got out of the train, and jumped onto the roof, running to the front of the train.

"Poppy?" Branch followed her. When they arrived on the front, he asked, "See? How do you expect to before we reach the party?"

Ahead was the home of the birthday celebrant. The Magic Musical Trolls went outside as they were excited for the cake. Even the birthday celebrant with a party hat, a young male Troll who hasn't got his True Colors yet cheered for his cake.

"On a wing and a hair, Branch. On a wing and a hair," Poppy, with courage and determination, replied. She proceeded to launch her hair in two different directions: to the right, wrapping around the fire hydrant, and the left, wrapping around a street light.

As the train got closer to the party, Poppy struggled to keep a firm hold, hoping that the train would slow down.

To her luck, it did, and finally, it came to a complete stop, as an exhausted Poppy declared, "Who... wants... cake?"

Everyone began to celebrate as the birthday boy got out of the crowd, and jumped happily.

Branch then kissed Poppy on the cheek, and said, "Poppy, that was incredible! Through sheer grit and determination, you beat all the odds! Not to mention several basic laws of physics!"

Poppy took a moment to catch her breath as she asked, "Yeah! Wait, which laws of physics?"

"Well for starters, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. I remembered that's Aggie favorite law of physics," Branch explained

Poppy then felt her hair starting to lose as the train was launched backward, and Poppy and Branch were soon riding on top of the now backward moving, runaway train.

Seeing the train went away backwards with the magic tracks formed ahead, the Magic Musical Trolls groaned sadly.

"Does this mean I don't have my cake today?" The birthday celebrant sobbed.

Then, the King and Queen Trolls saw that they were about to pass a sharp corner that the magic tracks created because of the exact route, and braced for the worst, "Oh, no. Oh, no! Oh, no!"

The train rolled off the track and was sent flying as Poppy and Branch screamed in fear, and sent them off the train, and flew in the air. Fortunately, it landed on another set of tracks and was rolling safely as Poppy and Branch landed inside the kitchen, where the cake was still standing.

"The cake's okay!" Poppy sighed in relief.

Branch chuckled as he took out a tablet that was connected to the computer at the control room, "Ha! According to the GPS, we landed on the supplemental route!"

Poppy's eyes widened, "Wait, the supplemental route? Doesn't that lead to..."

When the two looked at the tablet, the supplemental route showed the incomplete loop d' loop. They gasped in horror, "The loop d'!"

Branch then looked at Poppy in panic, "Okay, Poppy, please, this is life and death here. I mean, I know it's a really really good birthday cake, but..."

"Yeah, I know, we've gotta pull the emergency brake," Poppy sighed in defeat, "I just wanted to do good here in Harmonious Land to prove that we are not like our selfish ancestors. I just want to gain the Magic Musical Trolls' trust on me, on us. But I gotta face facts. All of those plans have been derailed."

Branch then formed a smile, "Well, you know what? I say let it get derailed."

"Huh?" Poppy was confused,

Branch then chuckled, "Yeah. Plans always seem to go off route in Harmonious Land. But then, somehow, we end up having a blast anyway. Plus, if you want to correct our ancestors' mistakes, then we should do what they didn't do. Make things a little better."

"Yeah," Poppy smiled and nodded, until she got an idea, "Hey, yeah, a blast!" She took out a communicator, and called, "R! B! Are you there?!"

The Funk sisters are still floating in a bubble.

"Yeah, still here," Blues answered.

"Just hangin' around," Rhythm added.

"I need you to get all the invitees of the party from at 078 Chocolate chip St, Cakezon City to the supplemental route of loop d', fast!" Poppy commanded.

Rhythm and Blues sent the Funk spaceship above the Magic Musical Troll attendees and the birthday Troll, and sent them inside the ship.

When the loop d' was formed 30 seconds ahead of the runaway train, the ship safely teleported the MMTs at the route.

"Mommy, why are they moving my birthday party here?" The Magic Musical Troll asked his mother.

His mother is Magic Rock Troll as she replied to her son, "Maybe Queen Poppy of the Normal Pop Trolls knows what to do. Let's see."

Back at the kitchen, Poppy and Branch used shovels to scoop slices of cakes, and loaded them into the shoot.

"Alright, birthday party-ers! Let's have a blast!" Popp announced.

The small cannons popped out from the roof of the train, and began shooting gobs of cake to the crowd, who opened their mouths and ate the globs they caught, even the birthday Troll got a taste of his cake. Soon, everyone in the crowd was weeping in sheer joy and dropped to their knees in happiness, loving the taste of the cake.

Poppy and Branch ran to the control room, and Branch pulled the emergency brake as the wheels of the train stopped rolling, but it didn't stop the train from going to the loop d'. Poppy helped Branch pull the lever harder.

The back of the train almost reached the end of the loop d', but it slowly slid down, and nothing bad happened to the train.

The Trolls cheered the train and the leaders of the Pop Trolls survived.

Poppy and Branch got out of the train, seeing the Trolls applauded for them.

"Welp, that didn't go as planned," Branch shrugged.

"Wouldn't have it any other way," Poppy crossed her arms.

Just then, the two felt someone hugging their legs. They looked down, and saw the birthday Magic Musical Troll hugging them happily.

"Thank you so much, Queen Poppy and King Branch! This is the best birthday ever!" He told them as Poppy and Branch hugged each other for a successful delivery.

Well, this is my own spin for the season 2 episode, Cakes On The Train. Instead of the plot of the actual episode, I decided to make it different by having Poppy and Branch delivering a birthday cake by train. I didn't put a song there since this is not TrollsTopia anymore, and the train isn't new in Harmonious Land. It was built 98 years ago.
