Loving Essence

It was another normal day in TrollsTopia. The other leaders visited this new city every so often, and it won't hurt leaving their kingdoms for a short

At the market, Barb, Trollex, Darnell and Copper were taking hot cocoa after three of them arrived so early to see how their fellow Trolls were doing while staying in their new home.

"You know, Popsqueak's TrollsTopia isn't so bad," Barb raised her cup, "I gotta admit my Rock Trolls are getting soft, but good soft. It doesn't change who they are, but they had chance to meet new friends in other tribes."

"I know, right? Synth became best friends with Branch, and I'm proud of my brother that he has a new friend, not just me," Trollex smiled proudly.

"And I started to make a new variety of cupcakes," Cooper demonstrated by pooping a yellow-icing cupcake with green wrap all over it, "See?"

But Darnell, Trollex, and Barb winced in disgust.

"Better not to show that, bro," Darnell patted his twin brother

"At least Aggie still had a great time here," Barb guessed.

Aggie then approached her friends and boyfriend at their table with frizzy hair and blue lipstick all over her face, which she's not comfortable with what happened to her.

When she took a seat next to Trollex, he leaped in surprise when she saw her looking like that, "Whoa, Aggie!" The Techno King then calmed down, "Before I say anything about how you look, are we at the point in our relationship where I can be honest with you or do I have to tiptoe around your fragile ego and tell you that you look great?"

"Aunt Essence has been smother-loving me for days since I let Rhythm and Blues experimented me for my vision, and I can't make her stop, alright?!"

"Don't worry, you look great," Trollex grinned sheepishly, trying to cheer his girlfriend up

"I kinda observe Mom has been smother-loving you lately," Darnell recalled

"Yeah, why's that?" Cooper asked.

"Have you guys ever had a sister?" Aggie inquired.

"Well, ever since Cooper has been taken from us and as I grew, Mom and Dad never had a chance to have another baby... or at least daughter," Darnell explained, "Before I found out I have a twin brother, I always wanted a sister. But I think Mom and Dad decided two is enough."

"Aunt Essence has been treating me like a child because she never had a daughter," Aggie said, "Don't get me wrong, she always said she loves both of you guys."

"And I believe her, but it would be good if we had a sister," Darnell confessed.

"And that's you Aggie," cooper pointed at her

"I don't know guys. I love Aunt Essence too, but this is too much," Aggie thought

"Hey, kids!" Essence approached the young Trolls with a lunch box on her back, "How are my boys today?" She kissed both of her sons' cheeks, then she turned to the Magic Musical Troll, "And Aggie, don't forget to eat your leftovers! You know that peanut butter and jelly won't eat itself. And try to wear your clothes right. Boys here are staring at you."

When Essence, Cooper, Darnell, Trollex, and Barb snickered, but stopped when Aggie glared at them

"See what I mean," Aggie proved her point.

"Come on, Aggie, she's only doing her job as a mother. Mothers will always be mothers," Darnell stated

"Ugh! I'm okay with that, but not in front of everyone," Aggie groaned while covering her face in embarrassment.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later in the afternoon, the Trolls gathered all over the giant mushroom where Popp made some announcement.

"TrollsTopians, as you know, one of our leaders, the Queen of the Funk Trolls, Queen Essence, is here to visit," Poppy moved aside when Essence stepped forward.

Most Funk Trolls applauded for their queen.

"Thank you, thank you very much for welcoming me here. Unlike my son, Prince Darnell, and the other two leaders, Queen Barb and King Trollex, I'm here to survey TrollsTopia that queen Poppy set up. Now, is there any one of you who would like to share some experience?" When Essence asked, the other Trolls didn't volunteer to share because they are too shy to speak up to the more mature and grown Queen of Funk, "Anyone?" No one answered, "I know someone who can!" Essence smiled as she called a name. "Aggie!"

The crowd of Trolls stared at Aggie as she felt embarrassed for Essence giving her more attention than the other. She answered in fast mode, "My experience is great, I have a lot of fun, I have plenty of friends, and I'm not homesick. The End."

"Good. Fast, but good, honey," Essence said, making the other Trolls chuckled when the Queen called the master by nickname like a child, "I meant, Aggie. I called her 'Honey', because she's... Oh, you know the story."

"Just one more day. One more day," Aggie said quietly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day, the Trolls gathered in Classical Crest where Essence was telling stories about her life.

"And when Quincy and I got married, and I became queen, we did expect children, but we were surprised that we have twins. Both boys. Before Copper was taken away from us, we also want a daughter. And we got lucky because our dear Master Aggie volunteered to be an honorary daughter to us, and we treated her as part of our family ever since."

Aggie, Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell sat on the same table, and the Funk Twin princes and the Master of All Music were embarrassed when Essence brought them up for her story. Some of the Trolls secretly snickered at them.

Demo then told Cooper, Darnell, and Aggie, who sat next to their table, "Hey, Prince D, Cooper, and Aggie, I know you're bummed out that your Mom's here and all, but it makes you feel any better..., she's a babe."

The five Trolls dropped their jaws in disgust for the Rock Troll.

Essence then came down from the stage, and approached Aggie, placing her hands on her shoulders, "You know, if it weren't for this cute rainbow bundle of joy, I don't know what I would feel if I'm still the only woman in our family. I still love my family, even if it's just my husband and my two sons. Men can give a lot of respect to women, but it would be great if you have a fellow girl in the family. That's why I would thank Aggie for becoming a new addition to the family. Mwah!" She planted a big kiss on Aggie's cheek, leaving blue lipstick on her, much to the Magic Musical Troll's embarrassment, and the other Trolls chuckled quietly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 hours later, the entertainment is over as the Trolls left Classical Crest.

"I'm free!" Aggie shouted happily with 4 of her friends behind her, "No Essence. No more Essence. No more Essence. No more Essence. No more Essence. No more Essence. No more..." She didn't know that Essence was behind her, "Hey, Aunt Essence."

"Hey," Essence didn't hear what Aggie was cheering about. She thought the young Troll was dancing for no reason.

"You know what, these last two days, it's like a blink! Where do they go?" Aggie said

"I mean, I didn't see 'em. You see em'?" Barb chuckled.

"I didn't see 'em. Did you?" the Master of All Music laughed.

"Then I got good news. I just spoke to Quincy, and he agreed to let me stay here for the whole year, and he'll take care of Vibe City on his own now that we finally found Cooper," Essence announced, much to the Funk princes and Aggie's disbelief, "You okay with this?"

"Well, actually, I..." Before Aggie could confess, she suddenly felt a vision coming.

Essence held Aggie's hands, and said lovingly and proudly, "Aggie, I love this job."

After the vision, Aggie chewed her gum hard as she realized Essence was so happy to stay in TrollsTopia, and she couldn't take the queen's happiness from her, "Couldn't be happier."

"Thanks, sweetie," Essence gave Aggie a big hug as she joined her sons, Trollex and Barb. When she let them go, she noticed Aggie was chewing gum, "Honey, gum."

Aggie spat the gum on Essence's hands as the queen walked towards the elevator.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later, the five Trolls got out of the elevator while talking about Essence.

"I don't get it, Ags. Essence has no problem living TrollsTopia. Why don't you just tell her how you felt?" Barb asked.

"Barb, you did not see my vision. First of all, she loves living here, and everyone here loves her too. I just can't take that away from her," Aggie explained

Darnell placed his hand on Aggie's arm proudly, "You're a good adoptive daughter, Aggie. This means everything to Mom."

"Thanks," Aggie nodded, "What if I get her fired?" But her friends glared at her, "I'm just kidding. Can I kid?" They kept glaring at her as Aggie couldn't handle the glare, especially Trollex's disappointing glare, "Okay. Sorry."

While the five tried to proceed walking, Essence was still there while talking to the other Trolls. She noticed Aggie, and called to her, "There she is! There's my little cutie-patootie!"

The other Trolls laughed as Aggie tried to hide her face with her rainbow hair

"Aww, why are you so afraid, cutie-patootie?!" a Rock Troll teased.

But then, Essence grabbed him by the shirt, and told him angrily, "Hey, that's my adoptive daughter, and if you say anything bad to her, I'm gonna kill you!"

This made Aggie feel a little more embarrassed because Essence defending her might show that the queen has favorites than her own son and people, and the other Trolls might think that way. Aggie quickly ran off while hiding her face.

Before the end of the day, the Trolls in TrollsTopia were assigned to take a survey about Queen Essence.

When Aggie finished her survey, she let her anger out of Essence by writing her feelings on another sheet of paper, "Having Essence here totally busted my game! I hate it!"

"Okay, before you pass your surveys about me, I just want to let you know that I'm staying in TrollsTopia for the rest of the year," Essence announced, much to the trolls' happiness and they cheered for her, "Oh, are the cheers for me? Are those for me? Oh, you stop it! You stop it!" The trolls obeyed her and stopped cheering, "What happened? You stopped it!" The Queen joked around as the other Trolls laughed

But Aggie didn't find it funny as she kept writing her anger out, "I just don't want her here! She's not funny, she's embarrassing, she's... I HATE THIS!" She folded the paper, and passed it to Trollex.

Trollex unfolded the paper, and read what aggie just wrote, "Man, Aggie, this is cold."

"Pass it to Darnell," whispered Aggie.

Trollex passed the paper to Darnell as the Funk prince read it, "Aggie, that's my mom."

"Pass it to Cooper."

Darnell then passed the paper to his brother, and he read it, "Ags."

"Pass it to Barb."

Cooper passed the paper to the Rock Queen, and read it, "I know I'm a Hard Rock Troll, but this is low, even for you."

"Okay, guys, if you finished doing and reviewing your surveys, I'll collect them," Essence announced. She roamed around the crowd of Trolls to collect the survey cards.

When Barb was about to pass her survey, she folded Aggie's note, and accidentally placed it under her survey paper, which Essence collected with the note.

"Thank you," the Funk Queen said.

Barb gasped as she realized Aggie's hate note was also taken by Essence with her survey paper, much to Aggie, Trollex, Cooper, and Darnell's horror.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the day is almost over, the Trolls went back to their homes, but Aggie Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell couldn't keep their eyes away from Essence to make sure they didn't see that hate note, or it'll crush her. Before they tried to move on, the five approached Essence in order to get that note without letting her get suspicious.

"Uh, Aunt Essence, may I just say how much I enjoyed answering the survey, but I like to change one little bitty thing," Trollex said, "Can I see Barb's survey?"

"Trollex, that would be called cheating," Essence chuckled

"That's not what he meant," Barb corrected.

"What did he mean?"

"I don't know," The Queen of Rock ran out of ideas to explained

To save Barb from Essence's suspiciousness, Aggie intervened, "Gotcha! It was all a joke! It's just a trick that we play in all of the grown-ups that you didn't get!" She tried to get the survey papers from Essence while trying to find that hate now. Luckily, she pulled it out from the survey papers, "And there it goes."

But her luck was taken when Essence took Aggie's hate note without reading it, "Thank you. Listen, you'll all get your surveys back after I see them in the morning."

"As it should be, Queen Essence!" Barb exclaimed in agreement.

"Spoken like a true queen!" Darnell chuckled.

"We're proud of you, Mom!" Cooper said.

When the 5 Trolls were out of Essence's sight, they gathered together in concern when she found out about that note

"Operation: Note Rescue, we attack at dawn," Aggie declared as she, Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell marched like brave soldiers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next early morning, the 5 sneaked into Vibe Town, and took the wormhole in front of Essence office.

"Ready?" Aggie asked.

"Ready!" Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell saluted.

"We're going in," Aggie tried to open the door, but it was locked, "No we're not. It's locked."

"Ugh, it's locked!" Cooper groaned.

"I just said that."

"I know."

Aggie then noticed the window above the door was open. If she can pass through it, she can open the door for her friends. She flew up, and squeezed her body through the window, but only half of her body got through

"Give me a boost," Aggie told her friends as the 4 tried to push Aggie through the window.

Suddenly, Quincy came through the wormhole, and saw his sons, Trollex and Barb near Essence's office

"Good morning, kiddos," he greeted them.

The four released Aggie, living her hanging through the window, and acted naturally at Quincy.

"Morning, Pops!" Darnell responded sheepishly.

"We're doing nothing wrong!" Trollex smiled nervously

"Dad, why are you here?" Cooper asked.

"Well, I'm pleased to see my sons and two fellow leaders here. And as king, I want to do a thorough inspection of the premises here in Vibe Town with Lownote's master key. Watch," Quincy used the key to unlock the door, and opened and closed it to demonstrate, but he never noticed Aggie was still hanging through the window, "Open, close. Open, close." The 4 other Trolls cringed when they watched Aggie swinging through the door's window, but they acted casually around Quincy, "Well, I better finish patrolling the place. Bye."

When the King of Funk left, the four checked on the upside-down Aggie.

"Uh, sweetie, since you're hanging there, could you open the door?" Trollex requested.

Aggie just glared at Trollex and her friends for not helping her push through or get her down, "No problem, honey." She reached for the door knob to unlock the door, and open it for her friends.

When the four Trolls entered the office, they left Aggie hanging and headed towards the desk.

Barb tried to open the drawer, but she couldn't open it, "Oh, it's locked!"

"Where's the key?" Cooper asked.

"Guys," Aggie tried to call her friends to help her get down

"I don't have the key," Darnell said.

"Don't look at me!" Trollex exclaimed.

"Guys!" Aggie tried to get her friends' attention, but to no avail.

"Okay, try this pen, "Barb suggested.

"Okay," Trollex tried to use a pen to unlock the lock on the drawer, but it didn't work, "No good. What are we going to do?"

"Guys! Hanging like a bat over here!" Aggie shouted. This got the four Trolls' attention as they helped Aggie down from the window.

Later, the five Trolls carried the desk out of Essence's office.

"So, what's the plan?" Trollex asked.

"Get this desk as far away from Essence as possible," Aggie said

"Yeah, but, Aggie, this is my mom's property," Darnell reminded

Aggie nodded, "I know, that's why we're moving it very carefully."

Aggie, Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell carried the desk through the hallways and platforms of Funk Town, and they were having a hard time because the desk is so heavy.

"I don't mean to bug on anything, but can we come up with a better plan?" Trollex required.

While the Trolls tried to find something to take the desk out without carrying it, they noticed a handi-mover cart as a perfect object to carry the desk easily.

When they pushed the desk towards the wormhole, it caught onto the slope platform, causing the cart to move faster, and the Trolls released it.

Aggie didn't want to lose the desk out of her sight as she jumped on it

"Oh man!" She let herself ride on the desk, and headed straight towards the wormhole, "This can't be good," The wormhole took her to another room of Vibe Town where she and the desk fell down the stairs.

Another wormhole took her to another room where there was a slope floor and the cart rolled down hill. The room is where mini spaceships were kept. Aggie screamed when the art was heading towards one of the spaceships while Trollex, Barb, Cooper, and Darnell chased after the distressed Aggie.

The Magic Musical Troll crashed on the mini ship before her friends could catch her.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later, when the 5 successfully retrieved the desk, they tiredly pushed the desk out of Vibe Town.

Suddenly, Quincy encountered them just in time before they could reach the wormhole as their exit, "Hey, where did that desk come from?"

The 5 Trolls lost their words as they tried to explain without telling Quincy what they were up to.

"Actually, Dad, this desk came from a tree. You know, when Troll-kind cut it down with no regard toward nature and all its wonder—" Cooper answered, but Aggie put a hand on his mouth.

"What he was trying to say, Uncle Quincy, is that... we found it in the forest, and we're just bringing it back," Aggie said.

"Well, pick me up and put me down, this is my old desk that I gave to Essence," Quincy recognized the desk as he patted it, "Solid... sturdy... except for this pesky drawer!" He patted the desk harder, causing the drawer to open, revealing the survey papers.

The 5 Trolls' jaws dropped in amazement, but there was no time to lose as Aggie distracted Quincy.

"Wait, stop!" Aggie pointed behind the Funk King.

When Quincy turned around, Aggie took the hate note, and passed it Trollex, who hid it behind his back

Quincy didn't see what Aggie pointed as he turned around, "Who are you talking to?"

"Uh... um... she... was just... singing that new cool song!" Barb stammered, "You know..., how that go..."

Darnell then made boombox sounds to cover the secret as the rest of the Trolls started dancing, and Aggie singing

Aggie: Wait, stop!
Where you going?
Stop, wait!"
Imma comin'

Aggie, Trollex, Barb, Cooper, and Darnell: Yeah!

Trollex: Boi!

"I like that," King Quincy said, "Come on, sons. Let's bring this baby back up to your Mom's office," He helped Cooper and Darnell push the desk back to Essence's office.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the 4 young royals and a Magic Musical Troll helped Quincy put the desk back, they were about to exit the spaceship when Barb read the note.

"'Every single second Aunt Essence smothering me, my life gets worse and worse, and if she acted like a mother to me in front of everyone, I'm gonna scream.'"

"And that's why I don't want her to read the note," Aggie said

"Look, Aggie, I know it's really hard Essence keeps smother-loving you so sweetly, but it'll get better," Trollex assured her.

"Maybe, but maybe it won't. Look, I love Aunt Essence, and I love hanging out with here, but not like a daughter-type. When I'm in Harmonious Land, I'm just Aggie, daughter of Galileo and Bernadette, and here in the whole Troll Kingdom, I'm the Master of All Music, I'm free to do whatever I want. But, when Essence is here treating me like her own child, I'm... the adoptive daughter of the Queen of Funk," Aggie explained.

"Mom is very kind and whole-hearted. She'll understand," Darnell told her

"Yeah. She's just so happy to finally have a daughter to look after. Guess I'll just get used to it, huh?"

When the five Tolls took the wormhole, and left the ship, Essence was listening to Aggie this whole time, as she sighed in guilt. She heard the commotion earlier and decided to check it out. She made it just in time when Aggie confessed to her friends. The Queen of Funk took a deep breath and sighed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later at night, while Aggie was writing a music piece, Essence came in from her open door, but knocked first to alert the Master of All Music

"Hey, Aggie, got a minute?" She asked.

"Sure," Aggie nodded.

Essence sat next to Aggie's seat, "You know, being in TrollsTopia got me thinking when I was your age. I used to get away with so much stuff, like going to school, exploring at the park, and dating Quincy."

Aggie chuckled, "Good times back then, huh?"

"I had a life," Essence smiled, "Aggie, I had a great time with my new freedom after I married Quincy and had Cooper and Darnell, but it would've been really weird if my mom or dad had been around, even until now," The Funk Queen admitted as she described if she was in Aggie's shoes, and the Magic Musical Troll knew the feeling, "That's why I decided to stay in Vibe City to rule with Quincy,"

This shocked Aggie, "What? Essence, all of the Trolls in TrollsTopia think you're great."

Just like in Aggie's vision, Essence held both of Aggie's hands, and confessed, "Aggie, I love this job,"

Aggie nodded, "I know, being a queen and surveying new places."

Essence corrected her, "No, being your adoptive mother. And, of course, your mother is still alive and no one would replace her, but I promised your mom that I would take care of you as my own daughter."

Aggie smiled as she was happy that Essence was there for her as her mother figure as they both hugged

"And don't worry, I'll only act motherly to you if you visit me from time to time, and if you need motherly advice, I'm always here when you need my help. I promise," Essence said.

"I promise. Thanks, Aunt Essence," Aggie hugged her again.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've always wanted to make this chapter. This chapter showed Aggie, like any other Troll, like to be free from home, and wanted to be someone they want, while at home, she would be anyone's daughter/niece/cousin/sister/aunt.

While I was watching That's So Raven, I decided Trollex, Barb, Cooper and Darnell to accompany Aggie instead of the other Trolls in TrollsTopia and Trolls World Tour because they need more roles in this story for Aggie.

Visions:
Aggie saw Essence telling her she loves her job (which is being Aggie's mother figure)

I hope you guys like my new chapter.
