At night, Aggie was sleeping in her pod while hugging a blue pixelated heart pillow when all of a sudden, a Rock guitar sound wave vibrated her room as she woke up from the notice, "AAAAHHHHH!" she got out to see who was making that noise, and saw Val playing the guitar under the tree "Val, Val, it's too loud! Val, please turn it off!" She flew down besides Val, and shouted at her.
"Oh, good! You're awake! I need your help with something," Val put her guitar down
"Wait, were you making all that noise just so you could wake me up?"
"Yeah, I wasn't gonna walk all the way over to you, was I?"
"What do you want, Val?"
"My manager, Demo, you might know him, has been acting all weird lately. He's been super tired, missing jam sessions, and yesterday he wore a tie... without irony!"
"Well did you try talking to him?" Aggie asked.
Val then backed away in denial, "Meh... I'm not really good at all that mushy 'talking 'bout-stuff' stuff. But you are. You're the Master of All Music. You talk to anyone and give advice. So, I need you to, like talk to him for me."
"Well, as master, I can't turn down someone who needs my help. Very well, Val. I'll go reason with Demo, and find out what's wrong with him," the Master of All Music accepted.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At Rock Hollow, Demo sneaked into his fellow Rock Trolls' home, and quietly passed through the other sleeping Rock Trolls.
When he accidentally stepped on a squeaky rubber duck, one of the Rock Trolls suddenly woke up, but went back to sleep. Demo sighed in relief as he went to his couch, and rested there.
"Hi, Demo!" Aggie popped out behind the couch, causing Demo to yelp a little, and she took him at the back of the couch with her
"Hey, uh, Agatha. W-what's shakin'?" Demo asked with a sheepish grin.
"First of all, call me 'Agatha' again, and I'll kill you. And second of all, not much, Demo. Then, again, I'm not the one sneaking into my own home trying not to be noticed. So the question is, what's shaking with you?" Aggie asked with a smirk.
"Eh, n-nothing's shaking! Heh-heh!" Demo replied nervously.
Aggie then told him, "Oh, really? You see, Demo, I've been through these experiences before. Remember my birthday few days ago? I know the feeling when someone's nervous or lying. So, I know there's something shaking."
Demo then started to sweat one drop from his forehead, and quickly put it back inside her hair, "What? No! It doesn't!" He grabbed his guitar case, and ran off.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While Demo was running, his eyes glanced up, which Aggie noticed as she flew besides him, following him.
"Ah-ha! You just glanced up, up as in Classical Crest! This has something to do with the Classical Trolls!" Aggie guessed.
"How are you even doing this, man?! You don't have magic yet," Demo then explained how he knew about Aggie being less magical, despite having her True Colors already, "Okay, Queen Barb told us. Your tribe is weird and complicated to understand, you know,"
Aggie looked down to think what was the connection between Demo and the Classical Trolls, "That's it! You've been sneaking off to play Classical music with the Classical Trolls!"
Demo shushed her, "Sshhh! Fine. You've figured it out! Now, you get out of my head, you cute, rainbow lady wizard."
"Don't call me lady, and I'm not a wizard. I'm more of a 'Magic Musical', but absolutely!" Aggie whipped her hair.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Come with me. I'll show you what I've been up to," Demo said as he and Aggie took the elevator to take them up to Classical Crest.
Once they made it into Classical Crest, Demo went on a stage and started performing.
"One! Two! One, two, three, four!" He played a classical guitar with the Classical Trolls watching.
Aggie gasped in awe, "It's a classical guitar."
"Indeed. You would never expect to hear such a delicate melody from a Hard Rock troll. But everything he does exudes classical," Minuet complemented appreciatively.
Demo finished playing the classical guitar, "That was called 'The Piercing Scream of the Flaming Skull'," He made a rock hand gesture before the Classical Trolls applauded, and he went to Aggie's table
"Demo, that was so gentle, so sensitive. Why would you keep that a secret?" Aggie asked.
"Because Hard Rock Trolls don't do gentle and sensitive. Especially Val. If she catches you doing anything that she thinks doesn't rock, you get...'the face'." Demo explained.
When the Rock Trolls did something nice and gentle to fellow Rock Trolls, Val did "The Face", which is so scary.
"I get it, Demo. It's hard to be vulnerable when you think someone's going to judge you. But you can't hide this. You clearly love classical culture," Aggie responded.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, I said I like classical guitar! But there is no evidence I love classical culture!" Demo corrected.
Just then, Dante came over with a cup of tea. "Breathtaking performance, Demo."
Demo's hair changed in a classical hairstyle while he picked up a tea cup, "Many thanks, my classical brother," he responded politely before he and Dante lifted their pinky while holding the tea cup and sipping on the tea.
Now that is evidence that Demo liked classical culture. When Dante left, Aggie cleared her throat, reminding him of what he had said
Demo then widened his eyes after he realized what he did. "Okay, I love it! I'm pretty sure any Hard Rock Trolls of your tribe play Classical Music too."
Aggie sighed sadly, "Actually, they don't. They would never play other music than Rock."
"Why is that?"
"That's what us Magic Musical Trolls have to do when we want to earn our colors. We have to choose just one music. Like you, you're a Hard Rock Troll, and you have to play just Rock Music,"
"But what happens if a Magic Hard Rock Troll plays classical music like me?" Demo questioned.
"They will lose their colors, music abilities, and magic powers forever," Aggie explained.
"Ooh, that's deep and dark. But how did you become so lucky? You literally have the colors of all six kinds of music."
"I don't know. I'm just lucky, and my friendship with my friends made me earn my colors, not the music itself, and because I had all of it, I'm free to play any music I want."
"You are a lucky Magic Musical Troll, but you can't tell Val about me liking classical culture, especially that I played classical guitar," confessed Demo.
"Ooh, I'll try, Demo. I had lots of secrets inside my head, and I think I don't have enough space to keep that secret," Aggie said
"Please, Aggie. I'm practicing for a big concert here in the crest this weekend and I can't let fear of 'The Face' distract me. Can you just keep quiet till after the show?" Demo begged.
Aggie looked hesitant.
"Please," Demo begged again.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later, Aggie went back to the hollow to talk to the Rock Ambassador, "So, Val, uh, I talked to Demo and it turns out he's fine. It's all welcome to Demo-town. Population zero worries," Aggie said nervously. She was suddenly bad at acting naturally with keeping secrets.
"What?" Val asked
"Nothing just...you can relax." Aggie smiled while glancing up.
"Wait, your voice just cracked and you glanced up, which means...something. I don't know. Anyway, thanks, Val said before walking off.
"No problem," Aggie chuckled.
Just then, she stared blankly as she got a vision.
Demo was walking towards the elevator with a classical guitar behind his back.
Then, Val stepped in front of him, "Demo!"
"Ah!" Demo yelped surprisingly.
After the vision, Aggie cringed in fear that Val will find out Demo's secret.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning, aggie was eating ice cream at the market, when she encountered Demo and Val behind her.
"Ah! Good morning, Demo and Val!" She yelped as she almost dropped her ice cream.
"Get this, Aggie, Val saw me leaving the hollow this morning, and asked where I was going!" Demo said.
Aggie started to get nervous, "Oh! Did she! And what did you say?"
"That I was coming to see you, 'cause you needed to pick out new speakers. Remember the new speakers?" Demo made a lie so Val bought it.
Aggie looked at Demo and Val backed and forth as she remembered that she promised Demo to keep his secret.
"Yep! I asked Demo to pick out speakers! That is the thing that I asked for!" Aggie nodded
"Really?" Val asked.
Aggie then started to sweat a drop as she pushed it up into her hair, like Demo did, "Mm-hmm."
"Cool. I love speakers. I'll join." Val said
"Oh, great!" Demo and Aggie replied in unison.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outside, the giant speakers are ready to use as Val turned the volume up to loud with a skull picture on it.
"Let's crank this bad boy up to loud, and see what it can do!" She raised her pick, and strummed her guitar very hard.
The sound wave pushed Aggie away as she hung onto a rock and screamed with her ears hurting, while Demo quickly snuck away behind her.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next next morning, Aggie ate some cereal and milk at the market, and, like yesterday, Demo and Val were sitting behind her.
"Ah! Demo and Val! Again!"
"So, Demo says you plan to spend the day detonating pyrotechnics?" Val explained.
"Uh..." Aggie gleaned at Demo, who grinned at her to help him cover up for him, "No! No way! No explosives! Not since my birthday!" She recalled, then told Demo, "Demo, we have to tell her what's really going on."
"No! Aggie, wait!" the rock manager pleaded.
"Val, the truth is..." Aggie paused for a while before confessing, "Demo and I have been planning a surprise birthday party for you!"
Demo sighed as Val said confusingly, "What? But my birthday is ten months away!"
Aggie then took a mug of milk, "To Val's birthday! In ten months."
Demo took out his own mug of tea, and the two sipped their drink.
"Welp! I'd better get going! Lots of birthday stuff to plan!" Demo chuckled before running off
"See you later!" Aggie waved before drinking her milk
"Demo's been spending time with the Classical Trolls!" Val guessed.
This made Aggie spat her own drink, "What? Where did you get an idea like that?"
"I just figured it out the moment he took that sip," Val replied. She noticed earlier that when Demo took a sip, he raised his pinky up, "He's clearly hiding something!"
"But..." Aggie wanted to say something, but she winced.
"I'm going to Classical Crest to get to the bottom of this!" Val walked away, but came back to Aggie, "But I still want that surprise party!" Then, she left
Aggie screamed, "Ah! I gotta intercept her before she gets to Demo! Ugh, this vision is a curse to me!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aggie then flew off where she saw Val getting into the elevator. To beat Val up to Classical Crest, she flew up to the top of the tree, and landed in front of the elevator when it reached the crest.
When the elevator door opened, Aggie popped her head in, "Hey, Val, I think..." But she noticed the elevator was empty.
"Uh, Aggie?"
She heard that Val was right behind her, "Val?! How did you beat me up here?!"
"I don't know. You should know that. You're psychic."
"I told you, my visions don't work like that."
Just then, Demo walked out from Classical crest with the classical guitar behind him
"Demo!" Val called him.
"Ah!" Demo yelped.
"What are you doing here? And what's up with that not-rocking guitar?" Val asked suspiciously.
Demo was really nervous at this point as Val narrowed her eyes, "Well..."
"Well what, Demo? Well what?" Val walked towards Demo as he moved backwards.
Aggie then intervened, "Uh, he wasn't going to play that guitar. He was gonna...smash it. Right, Demo?"
"Uh...yeah." Demo sounded hesitant, but Val was waiting for him to smash it, "Well, here I go." Demo raised the classical guitar up
Aggie was scared to see this happen as she doesn't need visions to see this. She couldn't believe she convinced Demo to do this to save his skin. He shouldn't break the thing he loves doing.
Demo swung the classical guitar to the ground, but stopped at the very second. "No! I can't! I won't!"
"What?" Val asked in confusion.
"Look, Val, the reason I've acted so weird lately is because I secretly have been playing classical guitar. But I'm not going to hide it anymore. Because I love it." Demo demonstrated by playing the classical guitar, "So go ahead. Give me...'The Face'."
"'The Face'?" Val inquired in confusion
"The face you make when someone does something you think doesn't rock." Demo explained.
"Do you mean the face I make when I don't know how to talk about mushy stuff?" Val rubbed her arm
Demo and Aggie were confused.
"Are you saying this has all been a misunderstanding?" Aggie asked
"Yeah. Honestly, Demo, your classical guitar is really good. When I hear it, the scream of my soul echoes endlessly in the flaming recesses of my rock heart," Val explained.
"Wow," Aggie stared in awe while Demo cried in touch.
"And I know a few other trolls are going to feel that way too," added Val.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At night, some TrollsTopians went up to Classical Crest to watch Demo perform.
"Hello, Classical Crest!" Demo started with a greeting introduction as the Troll clapped their hands. Demo then ripped his clothes off, revealing his Rock outfit, "Are you ready to rock?!" The audience cheered in response. Then, Demo ripped his Rock outfit, and revealed his Classical outfit, "Classically." The audience then clapped softly.
Demo then played his Classical guitar.
Val was listening to the music peacefully while Aggie watched her liking it, "Wow, Val, I think classical culture is really rubbing off on you."
"Wrong. I'm just here to support a friend. There is zero evidence that-" Before Val can finish, she took a cup, and when she was about to take a sip, her pinky raised up. She put her pinky down, and turned to Aggie, who smirked at her, "You tell no one about this or I'll tell everyone you have visions."
Aggie nodded in agreement.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my own version of Classical Rock. Instead of Poppy, I replaced her with Aggie instead.
Visions:
Aggie saw Val confronting Demo with a classical guitar.
I hope you like my version of Classical Rock. Please comment.
